some of you have forgotten about mitchirineko march and it fucking shows.

Multiple versions of the TMNT are meeting in one of them lair. In the main common area, the Splinters are conversing over tea, the Aprils are swapping crazy stories, and the Caseys are comparing weapons.

A small parade of different size and colored inflatable T-Rex costumes go through the lair, a couple of them holding speakers that play the Jurassic Park theme on loop, a few of them have signs, some holding pompoms, or noise makers. Some of the costumes were decorated with ribbons or stickers, some even had patterns painted on them. The circle the common area before lining up in two rows,with the ones holding the signs reveal that they read:

Which of us belong to which groups?

The Splinters, Aprils, and Caseys take their best guesses on which of the Turtles are in which costumes, or groups.

They were surprised when each turtle removed their costumes. Not expecting certain Turtles to be in some of the decorated costumes.

I was very bored when this just popped into my mind. Though I didn't actually have any specific song in my head. Though I can hear the MitchiriNeko March playing in my head instead of the Jurassic Park theme.

Have you seen my latest animation yet, "Raymond's New (Cat) Groove"? I put a lot of details into it, so I will be posting some of them here!

The first thing I want to show is the texture I used for Raymond's laptop screen in the opening zoom. I put a lot of work into this! Everything visible here was carefully curated to shoutout some of my favorite creators, games, websites, and programs. I even edited the YouTube thumbnails to fit in the Animal Crossing universe!

The first two thumbnails took a few hours to make on their own, while the last two were just quick touch-ups. I rarely paint like this, so it was a fun little exercise. The bunny and cat use designs made by fans of the respective channels, while the others are my own ideas.

as someone with (autism-related, if it makes a difference) sensory issues, I feel like the difference for me in whether any given noise is alright or not often has two main aspects to it: - whether or not I'm expecting it - whether or not I have control of it

so, at a festival, you'd certainly be expecting it, and have some form of control by the fact that you wouldn't choose to go to a festival if you didn't like anything there, right? whereas someone randomly clicking their pen you have no control and no idea when the next one is going to be, if that makes sense

I don't do festivals, but occasionally I can do theme parks/conventions etc, which are louder than I can normally deal with; it's because I'm expecting it and prepare for it for a while before, and even then it's draining for a few days after another example, I near-constantly wear headphones so I can have more control over the noise - I can still hear stuff outside it, but it helps me focus. I generally have problems with music outside of video game music (I have single-digit non-video-game-related songs and they're all stuff I got used to through other means like memes or watching mitchirineko march on loop) as is, but even my own music I need to have control over the volume/song playing at any given point or it might give me issues

yeah I sort of went on a ramble but tl;dr at least for me it's about control and expectations of the sound. I haven't quite worked out an easy way to word it to people, but it's something?
