Like if misto got depressed for a bit and stopped dancing for a while and also eating rice pudding all the time bc it was his favourite, no doubt in my mind he would just be a small Bustopher Jones, and that is perfect to me!

During Bustopher Jones' number in 1992 Zurich Cats, Misto isn't the only one who is apparently a fan of rice pudding.

Skimble scritches his belly, Alonzo rubs his own belly, and Munk looks like he's licking his lips in anticpation of rice pudding:

So last week I saw the UK/Int tour of Cats in Switzerland and oh. My. GOD. I have thoughts and I am going to share them right now! I have vaguely attempted to keep them organised by timeline/character but I scribbled these down at the intermission and on the bus back to my hotel as quickly as I could before I forgot anything (fully made myself travel sick but it was worth it).

Act 1

First thing I noticed was that Demeter, at the start, was so shy and skittish around the other Cats. I think they were definitely playing into the idea that she had just escaped Macavity and come home. The only one she was ok with right away was Bombalurina. They two were so sweet together – Bomba was always making sure she was ok. Dem got really into her role in the Gumbie trio and was having a great old time.

TumbleBailey got to ride on the flying trapeze during JSFJC and he was living his best life. The boy was not happy unless he was gymnastic-ing.

The lift that Munkustrap and Victoria did in ‘98 was done by Coricopat and Tantomile which I thought was fun! Always happy for my boy to get more screen time 💪

Side note: This is my third time seeing Cats, but because of Covid it was my first time getting to see the Cats all come in down the aisles at the start wearing the green goggles! I was in the front row, so I didn’t get the full effect, but it was still cool.

Tugger’s song was so much fun. Harrison Wilde was so energetic! During the number he came down off the stage into the audience (again the first time I got to see this!), and began twirling the security lady and dancing with her. 11/10. Bomba was SO PUT OUT when he said “no” and booped her away – like, she was raging, it was so funny. Munk was so annoyed the whole time. Peak big brother energy.

I got the impression almost right away that Jennyanydots is Cori and Tanto’s mum, they were interacting quite a lot and she was always looking after them. Ditto with Skimbleshanks and Jemima - he was definitely her dad - he was so protective of her when Grizabella showed up, it was adorable! I hadn’t considered that relationship before (despite my love of Skimbledad), so it was super fun.

This Misto does not like rice pudding, this is not a drill! The face he pulled during that line in Bustopher Jones was hilarious, he looked so disgusted. Misto was definitely more of an adult than he was in ‘98 or the Broadway Revival. Liam Mower is a bloody FANTASTIC dancer; I couldn’t take my eyes off him! He was clearly loving life and I appreciated every moment.

This production said Casslonzo RIGHTS and we love to see it. They kept on snuggling up to each other when they were in the background and you can bet your ass I noticed EVERY TIME. We stan a power couple of protectors. Alonzo’s actor Sebastian Goffin's voice was so deep and I was LIVING. Like I was not expecting this voice to come out of this man. Twas brilliant. Cassandra was so beautiful I nearly cried like ma’am PLEASE HAVE MERCY. She was definitely an obvious protector with how she was always looking out for the other Cats. Also during the first song she was lying right in front of me and I had to try so hard not to explode.

Old Deuteronomy was such a loving dad to everyone, he had such a warm vibe and energy and I just wanted to hug him! Like all of these Cats were his babies and he adored them all. He and Jerrie and Teazer had a wee “oh, you”/slightly nervous giggling moment when they had just come back on stage after getting busted in their number and it was excellent.

Cori and Tanto were definitely portrayed as younger than they were in ‘98. Cori in particular reminded me of Misto from ‘98; like an adult and everything, but a young one who still had a bit of kittenish energy. Their wigs were pleated up the sides which I thought was unique and cool, I don’t think I’ve seen Cats wigs like that before! Cori was so pissed when Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer ran under his and Tanto’s arms during the back-and-forth dialogue-y bit of the Jellicle Ball and interrupted them. He enjoyed hissing a lot which I can respect. Nothing but love for my hissy prince. I actually think Milan was covered by a swing on my night. There wasn’t anything saying so, but I don’t think it was Milan? Idk, it could’ve just been the lights or my position. Either way, loved her. This tour gave the twins so many characteristics unique to it and they will definitely affect my headcanons from now on.

RETURN OF THE SKIMBLETABLE.

Ok but every time Grizabella showed up, Munk genuinely looked like he wanted to/was about to cry, which I thought was an awesome bit of character work. I really got the impression that she was his mum, and she had abandoned him when she left the tribe. Russell Dickson was trying to make me feel things and he succeeded, I was so invested in his performance.

Also, during the ball, he was sitting just below Old Doots on his tyre who was patting his shoulders. A WHOLE DAD AND HIS BOY.

Jemima’s actress Lottie Stephens was also a fantastic dancer who was leaning just on the edge of cryptid and I loved it.

Plato spent a lot of time trying to look like a very distinguished boy and it was so cute. He definitely still had some kittenish moments though. He wass definitely learning to be a protector; every time there was a protector moment on stage he was there, just to the side or behind the others, looking nervous but wanting to make Munk and co. proud.

Act 2

OK OK OK Moments of Happiness? Not usually my favourite song of the show, but there were two excellent moments of personal happiness for me. First, Shakeel’s Cori slinked right over in front of my seat and I became even more unhinged than before, to the surprise of probably 0 people. But SECOND was omg, so Demeter and Munk were sitting a bit apart at the front of the stage and the atmosphere and chemistry between them was literally off the charts. Dem had become more comfy around most of the other Cats throughout Act 1, but here she was acting really nervous and shy. So the two of them locked eyes for a moment and it was EVERYTHING. Like I cannot describe in a human language what they made me feel at that moment but it was SO MANY. Dem almost immediately looked away all shy like, but Munk kept looking at her until the end of the song in the most softest beautiful way. Like omg the acting was SO GOOD and I’m still not normal about it. Like you could tell both of them really liked each other but were too nervous to do anything about it and inside I was screeching infinitely.

Jellylorum my Queen. Aimee Hodnett was actually mind blowing I was totally enraptured. Her expressions and vocals were outstanding. When Old Doots said to Gus “you could do it again” before Pekes and Polls her face was like ‘exsqueeze me sir what are you doing? Desist immediately!’ But then she got involved and it was great.

I really enjoyed that Gus and Munk shared the narration of Pekes and Polls. Gus’ actor Hal Fowler was so expressive and dramatic and everyone was loving it and laughing along with him, and Munk still got his stressed-theatre-director moment.

TumbleBailey was super put out when Gus had his “youths today” lines, like, he proper turned around, folded his arms, and sulked. He was a whole baby and it was precious. PounceBucketty looked a bit more maturely cowed (he was definitelythe big brother of the two), but Cori was actually DEVO’D. Like my boy was so hurt, he needed a big hug from Tanto before Skimble’s song started. Tbh my reaction to Shakeel’s acting throughout the show was practically feral. On the outside I was calm, but inside it was like Guy Fawkes Night, Christmas, and Hogmanay all rolled into one.

Both Cori and Jerrie seemed to be close pals with Tugger – Cori even got a Tugger hug at one point. Shakeel’s Cori is very cuddly and I love it with all my soul. He doesn’t seem to like Jerrie all that much though, which is hilarious to me as a dedicated Coricojerrie stan. Good thing enemies to lovers is a popular trope amirite 👀

Jerrie has so much respect for Skimble it was so sweet. He was really active all throughout his song, helping him out and pointing out when others weren’t doing what they should be (the irony) during the “hilarity and riot” lines. Top notch stuff. He was also the bottom step of the Skimblestairs at the end of the song.

He definitely has respect for Alonzo as well, he was always on his best behaviour when Lonz was nearby. I loved these little character relationship decisions SO MUCH, like you could tell the actors had put a lot of thought into their characters and that they truly cared about the show.

Bomba was in the background for parts of Skimbleshanks, but she started making flexing motions at the “weak or strong” line and Tugger was next to her ooh-ing and ahh-ing appropriately. It sparked so much joy y’all I love her forever.

SPEAKING OF BOMBA HYPE – Macavity. Omg the song slapped! Dem was super spooked, but Bomba? She was absolutely ripping the piss out of Macavity and I loved every second. Not a single facial expression missed, every one clearly read: oh, you think you’re hot stuff? You’ve got NOTHING YOU LOSER. She was so smirky and sassy, almost like she was challenging him to come and have a go.

Macavity Fight was A++ 5 gold stars stuff. Demeter has a moment when “Old Doots” comes back, and it was great how at first everyone was like, “girl wtf get a grip,” only to be like OMG MACAVITY when my Queen rips into him. Mac starts to drag Dem away and then Munk starts to batter him. The fight was super dramatic and gripping, and when Munk went down he went down HARD. But then we got this magical moment when the whole tribe was like “NOT TODAY SATAN” and started fighting back together, and I feel like this production made more out of this moment than others do. Of course it wrecked me, because I am weak. (Also the Cat standing over Munk and protecting him was my angel Cori so I was delighted by that.) After that, Dem and Munk said Demestrap supremacy and the image was so magical of them nuzzling in the light of the single lamp when everything else was dark, it was *chef's kiss*.

So like, I was never sure why I wasn’t the biggest fan of the new Quaxo look for this tour, but now I think it’s because it’s just a bit too different from the Mistoffelees costume? Like I know Jenny also has a really dramatic costume change, but that change happens on stage and we see her transform. But for Misto, this change happens off-stage and we don’t get to see it, so it just seems a bit less smooth of a transition. I know Mistoffelees is kinda like the stage persona of Quaxo, but I guess I prefer it when they’re clearly the same Cat. I presume this was intentional but, and you’re supposed to be like, omg is that really him? But idk, just not my personal fave.

Having said that, IT WAS STILL LITERALLY THE BEST PART OF THE SHOW FOR ME. Because I’m Misto trash so I guess it doesn’t matter. I really liked that they made it a Tugger solo again, I like that a bit better than the duet. Everyone was appropriately surprised and awed at the magic, but it obviously was not new information to Tugger, who was standing there like, “oh, haven’t you heard?”. And the only word for his expression when the dance solo started was adoration, it was so lovely how enamoured he was. And the slow lines when Tugger addresses Old D were so soft and loving and I die. So my hc for this production is that they were close friends up till this point (and Tugger is the only one who knew about the magic), and this is when Tugger realises, oh, I LIKE like him. May write a thing around this later because I am predictable and basic and easily pleased. Also Cass was so nervous about being Misto’s chosen assistant – she wasn’t even volunteering when he picked her! It was such a cute moment.

Then there was more Casslonzo lounging in the background when Grizzy showed up again. Ok so all throughout the show I was worried about Memory, because Jacinta White started really strong in Act 1, and she did again with her big solo and I was like, oh no this is going to fizzle where can it go from here? I have never been happier to be a fool and a jester. That woman has some set of pipes I was blown away. Think my jaw might have literally dropped.

The bows were fab, but especially TumbleBailey. He came out last as usual and did his flippy flips across the stage, but then he decided to do an extra backwards one, and I don't think it was planned as he nearly kicked Jacinta and Martin (Doots) in the face and they looked surprised. Either that or they're really good actors! Everyone was fine though, and they were laughing about it.

But yeah. So glad I splurged on my Swiss weekend and saw this show. Worth it.

Indeed I am! (And thank you!)

Headcanons, lets see...

- First, the characters are based heavily on the 1998 film, and a little influence from the 2016 revival. So here Misto is a young adult still learning the extent of his powers, Tugger is a little older and takes every opportunity to encourage Misto with his powers.

- When he realised his feelings, Misto tried to deny them/keep them hidden, worried he would just he lumped in with Tuggers fan club.

- When Tugger realised his feelings he was pretty relentless in his pursuit of Misto, finding any and all reasons to keep him near and turned his charm up to max.

- In the end Tugger has to bluntly tell Misto he loves him and doesn't just want the attention.

- Tugger helps Mistos confidence and provides peace from his overthinking, while Misto gives Tugger that secure unconditional love- he doesn't always have to be 'on' and impress Misto, his feelings are deeper than just how good Tugger looks.

- Misto pretends to hate PDAs from Tugger but he can't hide the little happy glow.

- While Tugger does enjoy holding Misto, or even carrying him around, in private he likes being held just as much.

- Arguments are actually quite rare, but this means when they do argue it's messy and explosive. Misto gets upset by Tugger not understanding his powers amd treats them as a fix all or safety net, Tugger gets frustrated when Misto gets jealous of the attention he gets and cuts himself off. Their apologies usually happen at the same time and come with thoughtful little gifts. Tugger likes the quirky sparkly things Misto can find and Misto is easily won back with some charm and rice pudding.

- Sibling reactions, Tugger- Munk: supportive of their relationship, believing Misto will help calm Tugger down. He doesn't realise, Misto has a mischievous streak and will end up encouraging Tugger. Macavity: Doesn't know, obviously. Not exactly on speaking terms and they try to keep him away from Misto and his powers.

- Sibling reactions, Misto- Victoria: As Mistos twin, she has a slight touch of magic herself. That with how well she knows Misto she sees they are happy, very good for each other and completely supports them. But if Tugger hurt her brother she WILL throw hands. Alonzo: He can get almost over protective of his younger siblings and this can cause tension between Alonzo and Misto. He's apprehensive about the pairing but for now holds his tongue and just keeps an eye on Misto.

Fun little random bits:

- Tugger stays close to the back in most group formations because it's easier to keep an eye on Misto- usually he'd be as central as possible.

- In Human/oid AUs, Misto will always without fail, steal Tuggers clothes to relax in. They're big, comfy and smell nice. Tugger has absolutely no problem with this.

- They would be one of the first couples to volunteer to take care of stray/abandoned kittens that find themselves in the Junkyard. They create a very sweet, unconventional family this way.

This is all I can really think of at the moment 😅 Some things are flexible depending on who I'm working with or if the plot needs it.

How do much do I ship it?: Never heard of it/ Notp / Dislike / used to ship / maybe / ship it / aww / otp / IS IT CANON YET?

What non sexual activities do they like to do together? These two would do really tame things together. I imagine they would take a lot of naps in the sun, and spend hours just cuddling and talking. Skimble would love watching Misto dance and Misto would love listening to Skimble talk about all of his past adventures.

Who does chores around the house? They would split things pretty evenly when Skimble is home

Who’s the better cook? Skimbleshanks. He's actually learned a lot of fun recipes in his travels and would love introducing Misto to foods other than rice pudding!

Who’s the funniest drunk? Misto gets silly! (Skimble would be fun for like half an hour but then he gets sleepy and grumbly)

Do they have kids? No, but Skimble had kittens from a previous relationship, and Misto would have a bit of a hard time adjusting. Because of their age difference, Skimble's kittens are nearly the same age as Misto. He can't decide if he should be their friend or their stepfather - it's a bit of an awkward situation for everyone involved, but the kittens are out on their own by this point so it doesn't come up much.

Do they have any traditions? At night, they spend time cuddling and reminding each other of all the things they love about each other. They will NEVER go to bed angry with each other, they made a promise about that. Whenever Skimbleshanks returns from a long trip, they celebrate his return with a bottle of his favourite whiskey and a full two days not leaving the den (or each others arms).

What do they fight about? There's a bit of tension because of the kittens. Misto doesn't quite know where he stands with them or how he fits in with their family. Sometimes the kittens disrespect him and Skimble, being very chill, just laughs and takes it all in stride. This upsets Misto every time leads to a few big arguments between them.

What would they do if they found their paring tag on tumblr? (If they have one) There would be a lot of blushing and embarrassed giggles. I think Skimbleshanks would revisit the tag later by himself (Curious boy)

Who cried at the end of Marley and me? Skimble, and Misto held and comforted him. It was very sweet.

Who always wins at Mario kart? Misto always wins - Skimble doesn't quite get it and tends to give up halfway through

One thing I like about this ship? They're really wholesome and adorable. They don't quite fit in with the other couples in the junkyard, but they're mostly content doing their own thing.

One thing I don’t like about the ship? There is not enough content for it D:

The song I would say fits them? Heavenly Day - Patty Griffin

Another headcanon about the paring? (Free space) These two are just.... lfsgneobndlove. Imagine them sitting out in a sunbeam together. They're all about the lazy days together, since they both lead somewhat hectic lives outside of their relationship.

4: Alazne- What is a noticable physical attribute of your OC?

Technically, she has only one eyebrow. Much like her Uncle Alonzo, one eye is just a plain patch of solid colour.

10: Celestia- What does your OC keep in a special draw?

She does have a collection of neat rocks her siblings bring her when she doesn't want to go out. But her most prized possession is a soft cloth Misto conjured to wrap her up in when she was very small. She's too scared of losing it, so it stays safely away.

17: Tim- What is your OC's imagination like?

Confusing, honestly. He can imagine the most bizzare, abstract things. He sometimes comes out with sentences and words that make sense to only him.

42: Victor- What makes your OC happy?

Learning about the supernatural with Coricopat and Tantomile and dance moves with Aunty Victoria. He loves to learn in general, but these are his abosolute favourite subjects.

43: Mufasa- What kind of sense of humour does your OC have?

Sensible, clean and inoffensive. He will tease his siblings and laugh at jokes, but he would be the first to stop if something went too far and somebody could potentially be hurt.

61: Miss Toffee- What is the general impression your OC gives other people?

Most are overwhelmed by her at first. She is an unstoppable ball of energy and questions. But once they get used to her, they think she's very fun and sweet. Skimble especially likes that he has someone to talk trains with and to share all of his knowledge with.

63: Mackenzie- How does your OC display love?

Respect. If Mackenzie loves you, he will stop pushing if he notices he may be going a bit too far. An apology and explaination of what he meant but couldn't quite articulate is the highest honour usually bestowed on select family and Mungojerrie. He is also secretly a bit of a cuddler, but don't tell anybody about that.

Exploring! With her siblings, but especially with Pouncival. He knows some great places and is just as naturally curious as her so they go on lots of expeditions around the Junkyard together.

If asked her first response is pink-it's very pretty. But as she looks up to Bomba more and more she gets a fondness for red too.

75: Mufasa- What is your OCs favourite scent?

This isn't exclusive to Mufasa, but when they were very small and difficult to settle, Misto created a spray he would put on their bed just before they slept, a mix of lavander and chamomile. Mufasa associated these scents with comfort and relaxation.

76: Jellibean- What is your OCs favourite animal?

This is subject to change every time she sees a different fluffy animal in the animal book Tumblebrutus teaches them out of. Anything tiny and fluffy she immediately adores.

77: Miss Toffee-What is your OCs favourite sound?

She loves hearing the steam train Skimble takes her to see whistling at the station, and Jemima singing. She would love to sing like her cousin one day!

78: Celestia-What is your OCs favourite time of day?

Dusk, just before the sun has fully set, but it isn't so big in the sky. She isn't fond of bright lights or exccesive heat, so she won't go out and sunbathe like others. She also likes the animals that come out in this time, the bats and little fireflies that remind her of Papas magic.

A Jellicle Halloween

An: Before we begin let me clarify a few things, first this is going to take place in an alternative world where Macavity isn’t really banned from the group he is still the older brother to Munk and Tugger but he didn’t go bad, he is also the father to Plato and adoptive father to Mungojerrie. Munkustrap is the father of Jemima, Deme and Bomba are sisters and Victoria is mute. Also I wouldn’t mind if any talented artist create fanworks of these ideas, So without further ado let’s go haunting. and Yes I am late in posting this but due to  outside forces I have not yet completed this story, so what I’m doing is posting this part one and of you want more like and comment.

When the sun goes down on Halloween night and the human children are going around trick or treating to their hearts delight, and Jellicles are getting ready for the Halloween feast. For Halloween night all Jellicles dress up and participate in fun games and dancing, at the stroke of midnight they all eat a large feast made of different meals that the cats bring or catch or make on the night of the feast. It is the third most anticipated night of the year, the first is the Jellicle Ball and the second is the Jellicle Christmas Day, and it's time for the Jellicle Halloween to begin.

 The sun had begun to go down and a set of twin kittens sat waiting for their older brother to pick them up, “I can’t wait to see everyone’s costume I wonder who’s gonna be the scariest?” Misto, who decided to go as a wizard with a little disney wizard hat, asked his sister  who signed back ‘maybe Macavity but he always looks scary’ Victoria was dressed as an angel, predictable as she was a white cat the only other colour was her ears which had little tips of black on them barely noticeable to the naked eye. “You’re right, Hey I think I see Alonzo” Misto and Victoria ran outside to see their Older brother Alonzo dressed as a skeleton cat, “nice costumes, let’s go” he tells them and together they make their way to the Jellicle Junkyard. “Wait don’t you have to take something for the feast?” Misto asked not seeing a bag of food being carried by Alonzo, “Munk and I did a lot of hunting for the feast earlier today,” he explained. They were walking for a bit and seeing all the cool decorations when Misto got a sneaky idea “hey Victoria” he says creepily making her turn and silently scream and cower into Alonzo who turned to see Misto had put a jack-o-lantern on his head making it look light on fire “not funny Bro” “oh come on it was a little funny” he said taking the pumpkin off his head and Victoria replied by shaking her head in anger. “Victoria is right it was mean you don’t know what-” Alonzo trailed off noticing a threatening shadow over Misto “what’s up?” Misto turned slowly when the shadow jumped out with a knife scaring the twins and Alonzo, they kept their eyes closed in fear until the figure laughed and showed the cat under the hat and cape “uncle Bus’” Misto cried out moving closer to the cat as Alonzo made sure Victoria was alright “, that was good but what are you meant to be?” “I’m sorry for scaring you I quite simply couldn’t resist and to answer your question I am Jack The Ripper Famous serial Killer of London” Bustopher Jones told them getting a large sack. ‘What’s in there?’ Victoria asked her uncle “I had visited some of my clubs and decided to contribute to the feast so I have some Game, Mutton, cooked Cabbage and a few Rice Puddings” he tells them and the twins licked their lips at the mention of Rice pudding. “Come along children we don’t want to be late” their uncle said walking ahead of them, making them run to catch up. 

 Minutes later they arrived at the yard, which is lit only by candlelight  and Jack-o-lanterns were around the place along with the giant area that is reserved for the feast, some cats still missing, one of those cats was Plato making Victoria frown, “I’m sure he’s gonna be here soon Vic” Misto told her noticing her face. They make their way to the tire which has four cats sitting on it, “aye, I bid yee a happy Halloween” Munkustrap said when the group got closer, “you’ve been practising that voice I see” Alonzo complimented his friend “you have no idea” Munk’s mate Demeter said dressed as a mermaid while Jemima was dressed as a parrot. “Misto you do know Halloween is where you dress as something you’re not right?” A vampire Tugger said circling Misto and sitting in front of him smirking “Excuse me but I’m a wizard that’s completely different to a magician” came Misto’s retort. “Let me bite you then we can be immortals together” Tugger tells him “I’d rather die” Misto tells him in a bored tone. “That could be arranged,” one big cat in a black hood with a scythe said taking Tugger‘s place on the tire “,hello brothers” “hello Macavity” Munk and Tugger greeted their brother. Alonzo greeted his mate Cassandra as they sit next to Munk and Deme on the boot of the car “how lucky am I to have the queen of the nile Cleopatra as my mate” he said making her blush “I thank the everlasting star everyday that we have each other”. Bomba nuzzles her mate Macavity “I love how you make death look beautiful” Macavity compliments her “and I can’t believe I’m saying it you make a good grim reaper” Bomba replied, Misto watched the couples with boredom “aww don’t look down little wizard the party will soon begin and then you and I can dance the night away together” Tugger’s words just got Misto more bored and leapt away to sit on top of the pipe and Tugger justs sighs squeezing himself between his brother’s on the tire.

 Victoria, Jemima  and another cat move to the kittens group. “You make a beautiful angel Victoria” the cat Plato said blushing, she blushed too signing back ‘thank you Plato, I like your costume too’ Plato looked down at his demon costume “a little on the nose since my dad is the grim reaper”. Before they could continue they were jumped on by a hyper kitten dressed as Harley Quinn “omg you guys are so cute in your costumes, I can’t believe you two aren’t mates and yet you both wear mate themed outfits, and Jemima I so wish I could do family theme costumes like you” she said dreamily “Cettie calm down, the party hasn’t even started yet” Tumblebrutus, dressed as the Joker tells her and the others greet the three “Hey Pouncival what are you supposed to be?” Jemima asked the young Tom kitten “I’m a ghost pollicle duh” he replied before looking over at the tire and seeing Bomba dressed as an undead bride nuzzling Macavity. “He’s so clueless” Electra, dressed as the Wicked Witch of the West, said watching the young tom ignore the only queen giving him attention, “One day he will notice her” George said dressed as a Scarecrow, to match Electra. 

 Mungojerrie, dressed as Mr Hyde goes up to Rumpelteazer, dressed Doctor Jekyll who is beside her dad Skimbleshanks, “Hey Teazer” he said nuzzling her “Hey Jerrie, we are so gonna win the Best couples costume” Teazer says determined to win with her mate. “Well Good luck to you both, though I’m sure skimble will blow everyone away at the Singles best costume” Jennyanydots, who chose this year to go as a flapper dancer, says helping her mate Skimbleshanks finish his costume “Uh what are you supposed to be?” Jerrie asks not understanding “well laddie I am Rusty the steam engine train from my favourite musical Starlight Express” Skimble says slowly standing up and balance himself on the roller blades, the twins tried to not laugh but when that failed Jenny showed them away as Skimble was rolling from side to side. “Of course you dress as a train” Asparagus Jnr jokes as he and Jellyorum come up beside their friends, “well it’s more original than the Phantom of the Opera” Skimble retorts making fun of Aspargus’s costume, “Oh leave him alone he was helping Gus with his costume and didn’t have enough time for an original one” Jelly said, dressed as a nun. “Speaking of What did Gus decide to come as?” Jenny asked “who else, Firefrorefiddle, the fiend of the fell” Asparagus added the grand gestures as they always do when Gus retells his times performing.

 Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer ran over to the oven where they met up with the psychic twins and Exoctica, “you guys look a fright” exoctica chides as they catch their breaths. “Well you would too if you had Jennyanydots on your tail” Jerrie says “nice costume Exoctica” Teazer compliments looking over her Queen Elizabeth costumes. “So what are you two then?” Jerrie asked the Psychic twins “we are Schrodinger’s cat” “the idea of a cat in a box and not knowing if he is dead or alive” Jerrie blinks looking between the two “so who’s who?” the twins stayed quiet as Teazer silently ohh’d getting the whole point and laughing at the fact that she's not going to tell Jerrie and let him be driven made by them.

 Bustopher Jones had finished adding his sack of treats to the Halloween feast and decided to go sit with his old friend Gus while they waited for the party to start. “Well I never thought I would live to see the day that Bustopher Jones shared even a tiny morsel of food” Gus playfuly jabs him “well I Just wanted to be generous for one night even I can do that” Gus nods at Busthopher’s words “does this mean you will stay for the whole night?” he asked, turning to his friend “for once I believe I will” Bustohper looked around at all the cats and kittens talking and notices two cats not there “actually have you seen Old Deuteronomy?” he asked Gus who frowned “no in fact Grizabella isn’t here too”.

 Macavity, Munkustrap and Rum Tum Tugger smirks together as the girls give them some space “show time” Tugger says as Mac controls the fire and blows out the candles, it happened so suddenly the kittens couldn’t help but cry and Scream, Misto grew worried about Victoria and leapt over to protect her as the kittens all huddle in the center of the yard. The darkness didn’t last long as soon a spotlight seemed to come from the moon and shine down on Macavity as he stood menacingly on the tire “Toms and Queens of every age Wouldn't you like to see something strange?” He sang to the group as a second spotlight hits Munkustrap as he stands proudly on top of the oven, making Tantomile, coricopat and Exoctica turn and look at him. “Come with us,” he sings and a third spotlight hits Rum Tum Tugger standing majestically on the chair “,and you will see This, our town of Halloween” Munk finishes. “This is Halloween, this is Halloween Pumpkins scream in the dead of night” Tugger sings then the brothers share a look and together they pounce, leaping into the pile of Kittens and making them scatter to the adults of the group, the rule of Halloween feast is that you never join another cat’s song unless you are asked to or like what Macavity will do, are gestured to join. Munk, Mac and Tugger stalk forward as they sing the next line “This is Halloween, everybody make a scene Trick or treat till the neighbors gonna die of fright!” the brothers stop and swipe their claws to both sides and then at the sky to the ground and finish by spreading their arms wide “It's our town, everybody scream In this town of Halloween”. At the last line Munk and Tugger bow down and circle Mac as he takes control of the kittens moving his left paw up making Pouncival stand and sing “I am the one hiding under your bed Teeth ground sharp and eyes glowing red” he emphasised his teeth and eyes and Mac then moved his right paw and Etcetera follows with “ I am the one hiding under yours stairs Fingers like snakes and spiders in my mane” she couldn’t help giggling as she shook her mane pretending spiders were there. The others were enjoying the song and nods their heads in rhythm as Pounce and Cettie move forward to stand behind Mac as he dance as they followed as he was the puppet master twirling out of the light “ This is Halloween, this is Halloween Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!” they sang before the spotlight moved to Tugger laying seductively by Bomba, Deme and Electra and he orchestrated them to sing “In this town we call home Everyone hail to the pumpkin song” Munk jumps onto the other junk wall and moves gracefully to Bustopher Jones and pulled him up “In this town, don't we love it now? Everybody's waiting for the next surprise” Bustopher sung as the brothers joined each other again on the boot of the car “Round that corner, man hiding in the trash can Something's waiting now to pounce, and how you'll…” Tugger leaps over to Alonzo, Cass and George and they each took their turn to sing “Scream!” “this os halloween” “red’n’black” “and slimy green”. Mac turned to the group of four elderly cats “aren’t you scared?” he asked them and the toms shook their heads as Jenny and Jelly duets “Well, that's just fine Say it once, say it twice” Skimble and Asparagus Jnr took over “Take a chance and roll the dice Ride with the moon in the dead of night” they looked at the full moon on that line and Mac continued to scare the kittens away “Everybody scream, everybody scream” Munk and Tugger backed him up “In our town of Halloween!” Mac jumped to stand over the group as he used his magic to bring the psychic twins up “I am the clown with the tear-away face

Here in a flash and gone without a trace” they each sang one line and then Mac pulled up Electra and Jemima making them move as if they were being blown away by the wind “I am the "who" when you call, "Who's there?" I am the wind blowing through your hair”. Then Mac pulled up Victoria infront of him, she was a special case since she doesn’t have a voice so Mac controlled her to lip sing “I am the shadow on the moon at night Filling your dreams to the brim with fright” instead of Tugger throwing his voice they heard a haunting female voice sing the line in sync with Victoria, thinking nothing of it they continue and without notice a shadow jumps to the chair. Mac, Munk and Tugger flipped and walked on their toes to the front and posed Menacingly as they sing “This is Halloween, this is Halloween Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!” at each Halloween the older cats joined increasing the volume of the lines, the kittens then sing as they crawled forward, Jemima, Electra and Cettie moving to lay between each of the brother’s legs “Tender lumplings everywhere Life's no fun without a good scare” Jerrie and Teazer did they famous duel multi flip in front of the brothers singing “ That's our job, but we're not mean In our town of Halloween”. “In this town” Bustohoer sang and then didn’t want Gus to miss out pulled him up too “Don't we love it now? Everyone's waiting for the next surprise”. Then the others moved forward as Munk and Tugger jumped from side to side, careful of the kittens and Mac flips backwards and the queens take his place “Reaper Mac might catch you in the back And scream like a banshee Make you jump out of your skin This is Halloween, everybody scream” Tugger and munk say and the kittens screamed scattering once more away as the others lay their right paws over their heart “Won't ya please make way for a very special guy?” Tugger sings turning to gesture to the center before noticing Misto was there and pulled him down to sit by his side “Our man Mac is King of the Pumpkin patch Everyone hail to the Pumpkin King now!” Munk continues and Mac makes the group disperse back to their original spots as he walks forward with pride “This is Halloween, this is Halloween Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!” he sings and the kittens crawl forward again, Munk and Tugger kneel down looking t Mac as they sing “In this town we call home Everyone hail to the pumpkin song” the kittens all get up and hold hands surrounding the three and prancing around them and Munk and Tugger provided their back up “La, la, la, (Halloween! Halloween!) La-la-la, la, la (Halloween! Halloween!) La-la-la, la, la, (Halloween! Halloween!) La-la-la, la-la-la, hey!”

 At the final line everyone broke apart laughing and giggling as they all praised and greeted the brothers. The older cats were congratulating the boys on opening the Halloween feast and the younger cats were fawning over Tugger and his singing voice. Once again the lights go out completely, the cats don’t react thinking that the brothers were planning something but then the entire yard glowed different neon colours, the brothers also glow like the yard and stilled in a trance like state when menacing laughter filled the yard, the kittens screamed when a female cakal joins in. “Well, well, well, what have we here?” A big, green ghost life figure sang as he appeared on the tire, the older cats move to protect the kittens and the figure has his sights on Gus “,Firefrorefiddle huh? Oh, I'm really scared,” he pulls the cat up to stand beside him but keeps his hands on him, “So you're the one everybody's talkin' about, ha, ha” Gus didn’t like how the figure laughed at him and wanted to get away. Bustopher, Asparagus and Skimble try to run forward but get blocked by the brothers, who now act like puppets to this figure, as he started to dance Gis around him “You're jokin', you're jokin' I can't believe my eyes You're jokin' me, you gotta be This can't be the right guy He's ancient, he's ugly I don't know which is worse I might just split a seam now If I don't die laughing first” the kittens all growl at swipe their claws at him not liking how he was treating a valued member of the group, the figure got a wicked idea, he called his puppets up to hold Gus as he made his way to the kittens “When Mr. Oogie Boogie says There's trouble close at hand You'd better pay attention now 'Cause I'm the Boogie Man And if you aren't shakin' Then there's something very wrong 'Cause this may be the last time now That you hear the boogie song, ohhh” Tugger, Munk and Mac repeated the ohhhs like back up singers “Ohhh, he's the Oogie Boogie Man” the brothers sung and Oogie Boogie finally got to the kittens and started to pet them, strangely the kittens weren’t afraid of him, he felt familiar “Well if I'm feelin' antsy And there's nothin' much to do I might just cook a special batch Of snake and spider stew And don't ya know the one thing That would make it work so nice? A flaming Firefrorefiddle to add a little spice” as oogie danced away the kittens all followed singing the oohs back up now “Oh, yeah, I'm (he's) the Oogie Boogie Man” Oogie, the brothers and the kittens sing together. Gus got desperate to get freed and decided to do the same as this Oogie Boogie “Release me now Or you must face the dire consequences The kittens are expecting me So please, come to your senses” Oogie pulled him away from the snapping jaws of the brothers, Mac got so invested that he jumped over the tire and fell on the ground. The kittens all giggled finding it funny, Oogie wanted the attention back onto him so he continued his song “You're jokin', you're jokin' I can't believe my ears Would someone shut this fella up I'm drownin' in my tears It's funny, I'm laughing You really are too much And now, with your permission I'm going to do my stuff” he threatened and the atmosphere felt tense “What are you going to do?” Gus asked him “I'm gonna do the best I can,” he tells him throwing him back to the boys as he gets out his dice “‘Oh, the sound of rollin' dice To me is music in the air 'Cause I'm a gamblin' Boogie Man Although I don't play fair It's much more fun, I must confess When lives are on the line Not mine, of course, but yours, old boy Now that'd be just fine” he continued dancing around and throwing his dice “Release me fast or you will have to

Answer for this heinous act” Gus finalised his song as Oogie got closer to him “Oh, brother, you're something You put me in a spin You aren't comprehending The position that you're in It's hopeless, you're finished You haven't got a prayer 'Cause I'm Mr. Oogie Boogie And you ain't going nowhere” the song ended and the lights returned to normal. ‘Oogie Boogie’ and the brothers started to laugh “ oh Gus im so sorry I just couldn’t resist old friend” Oogie says making everyone confused. “Oh darling that was a marvelous show for Halloween” Grizabella dressed as Medusa came down from the chair and greeted everyone “gee dad didn’t know you were a prankster” Tugger says casually as Oogie takes off his head to reveal himself as “Old Deuteronomy” Everyone cried as they all crowded him, to nuzzle, hug and lick him affectionately “I’m sorry my Jellicles for scaring you I just enjoy a little trick or two at this time of year” he tells the cats “you knew” Jerrie cried “of course, he needed back up singers, tell me you wouldn’t have done the same” The brothers all replied “well yes but still not cool” Jerrie said going back to Teazer.

Ok so basically Misto isn’t only a cat, he’s a demon or cryptid as well. He’s kind of based off Timothy Scott’s portrayal of Misto. He looks different from the other cats and has demonic powers as well as his regular ones. Anyway fast forward to one very hectic headcannon day where we all went a little bit nuts coming up with various head cannons for our beloved cryptid boy. He’s in love with Tugger (obviously) and Jemima has powers similar to Misto’s. So naturally they’re best friends. It got crazy at one point Munkustrap had to ask his doctor how much stress = a stroke. I can tag you in the posts if you like. @rice-pudding-slaps anything to add?

Under the Jellicle Dawn

Chapter seven,

"Munku!" Demter cried running towards her unconscious tom-friend.

"What is he dead from shock now?" Mistoffelees asked drunkenly.

"What did you do to him?" The yellow queen cried pointing accusatory at the drunken magical little tom.

"Me? Tugger's the one who probably board him to death."

"I did not! If he is dead then it's most likely from the fight with Macavity."

"He's not dead!" Bustopher Jones said. " He's only fainted. See his breath is fogging up the spoon."

"Oh," Mistoffelees said. "Now I'll never get to be the narrator."

Tugger began to slap his brother awake.

"Wha-what happened?" The gray tabby asked groggily.

"You fainted!" Tugger said. "This is why I can never tell you anything, you always over react!"

"You and Quaxo are mates?" he asked his brother.

"Yes, we are mates, we are in love with each other and our love is fabulous!"

"Tugger, do stop shouting, I have a headache," Mistoffelees mumbled as he nuzzled Bustopher Jones for comfort.

"There, there," His uncle said patting him gently on his head whilst glaring at the Rum Tum Tugger.

"Well what about kittens?" Jennyanydots cried. Mating meant you have kittens. Now she knew queens and toms who had been spayed and neutered who were mates, but the idea of two males being mates was so foreign to her that she couldn't wrap her head around it, much less the idea of Tugger settling down. She knew her daughter Bombalurina had hopes of becoming Tugger's mate, Jenny just really couldn't see it, Tugger loved flirting to much and Bomba just wouldn't be able to stand that.

"Look," Tugger began. "Misto and I talked about it when we are both ready, we are going to adopt, or Misto can conjure some up, or he can get himself magically pregnant!" Tugger finished smiling brightly.

"If any cat in our mate-ship is going to get magically pregnant it's going to be you," Mistoffelees said throw gritted teeth.

"Me?" Tugger said making a face. "Why me?"

"You have the hips for it," He told him.

"For what?" Tugger asked.

"Birthing!" Misto shouted before filching and rubbing his temples.

"He dose have a point there," Jennyanydots agreed as Tugger began to examine his own hips.

"Mother!" Bomba shouted her tail switching from side to side with irritation. How could something like this happen? How could The Rum Tum Tugger, her curious beast have a mate? And not just any old mate, a mate who was a tom and just any tom who worship him like say Plato, and who was also tall and good looking in her opinion, not that she thought Quaxo was ugly, she thought he was cute in that endearing sort of way. What Quaxo had gonging for him was that he looked like the poor cat's Bustopher Jones with his overly long white markings on his back paws making him looked like he was wearing white knee socks with a hole in one of them.

How could he attract The Rum Tum Tugger? Sure now in his all black glossy coat, white face and chest he looked suave, but he was still short and, and Quaxo! She could picture him with Victoria or even her own daughter Jemima, but not with Tugger! The only think she could think of that could possibly attract Tugger to him was his magic and if that were the case then it must be an infatuation on Tugger's part.

"Just how long has this mate-ship been going on?" The red queen demanded.

"Since day one," Tugger told her smugly.

"What?" Cried Victoria. "You've been with Tugger all this time! And you never even tried to tell me."

"Don't shout," Mistoffelees said. "Tugger has a self severing memory, we have not been mates from day one. We weren't even friends from day one. Look the reason we didn't tell you yet, is because, because? I don't remember, my head hurts," He said before going back to continue nuzzling his uncle's fur.

"You misunderstand me," Tugger said pulling the both the red and the white queens close to him. Despite both queens being with hurt and angry with him they couldn't find it with in themselves to resist him.

"Some Jellicle moon's ago on a warm summer's day when brother Munkustrap and I were still kittens and we lived at the Vicarage with our father. It was on that day, that Bustopher Jones came to call bringing with him his very young nephew Quaxo on his first outing. At the time I had been the youngest kitten of the tribe and wasn't too pleased that there was someone younger then me, but then my father explained to me that with Quaxo being younger them me, meant that he didn't know as much as I did and I could teach things like how to pounce and hunt leaves and bugs. That idea pleased me immensely so off I went with my new little bubby Quaxo to play. And even though both Quaxo and where far to young to known and understand about romantic love and mates and that other stuff, but even then I knew that there was something about him, something about how annoying he was, something about the way he challenged me then, about how I was just able to talk to him and be myself. It was on that day that I meant my soul mate, best friend and future mate," Tugger finished.

"We never meet as kittens!" Mistoffelees protested.

"We did too!" Tugger said.

"My first outing with Uncle was at the Tomb for rice pudding!" Mistoffelees said before grimacing he shouldn't of shouted and he certainly should've mentioned food, his stomach wasn't feeling too good at the moment.

"No what, Rum Tum Tugger say it true," Bustopher Jones told his nephew. "I did take you to the Vicarage on your first outing and you and Rum Tum Tugger went off too play then afterwards went to the Tomb to eat lunch."

"Mistoffelees, how could you not remember our first meeting?" Tugger asked outraged.

The drunken magical cat, just shrugged not understanding why his mate was so upset.

"Well I for one am hurt!" Tugger said letting go of Victoria and placing his paw on his chest. "I remember our first meeting clearly! You spoke in first person, couldn't get my name right, only wanted to play with my tail, and when you meet Munkustrap you got scared of him and hid behind me because you thought he was a tiger that was going to eat you."

"I just remember the pudding," Mistoffelees said.

"You and your pudding!" Tugger yelled. "Sometimes I think you love rice pudding more then me!"

Skimbles turned to Jenny and Jelly and asked.

"Is it just me or he jealous of a dessert?"

"It's not just you dear," Jenny told her mate, while Jelly shook her head.

"Vicky, sweetie," Tugger said turning to the white cat. "Consider yourself very lucky you're not Quaxo's mate! He is most unromantic cat ever! Not only that he is insensitive, insufferable and insulting! My most precious memory is the first time Quaxo and I meet and he doesn't remember! His most precious memory is probably about rice pudding!"

Victoria blinked she had never seen her adopted uncle act like this before. If she wasn't so heart broken about Quaxo being Tugger's mate she might have this funny. Bomba on the other paw was very amused. It was nice to see the more of Tugger's kittenish side. And judging by the way Tugger was carrying on she doubted he and Quaxo would last much longer.

"He remembers his past lives! But doesn't remember our first meeting? He's a , a, a…jerk!" Tugger said. "Do you hear that Quaxo you are a jerk!"

"You've said enough sir!" Bustopher Jones yelled charging at the Mane Coon. Making poor Mistoffelees to almost fall on his face. Bustopher Jones loved his nephew more then anything and he could not just stand idle by as Rum Tum Tugger insulted him. "The reason why Quaxo dose not remember meeting you as a kitten is because he was not even a full two weeks old yet!"

"What?" Cried both Jenny and Jelly appalled at the idea of a kitten so young going on an outing without his mother, and being left alone with another kitten.

"Oh nothing bad happen to them and Duet and I were with in earshot and eyesight of them! Now as I was saying the first time you met Quaxo, he was barely two weeks old. Now I know it's a bit shocking taking him on an outing at such an early age, but we needed Duet to have a look at him as he was turning out to be quite the prodigy. He was already using words and had named himself and his powers were developing."

"Singular magical powers," Tugger corrected.

"His singular magical powers were developing extraordinarily fast. After all he was able to create an illusion for him to mimic how I looked," The Cat in white spats said with pride. "Well we certainly couldn't have Duet come all the way to Bloomsbury, it would have caused a bit of a fuss. My sister never leaves her human house unless she deems it absolutely necessary and my brother in law had work so I took charge. Now," He said turning to the two older queens. "Dose that answerer all your questions that you were going to ask?"

"Uh, yes I think that covers it. What about you Jelly, dear?" Jennyanydots said rather mystified at the cat about town seemly knowing what she was going to ask.

"Yes that answers everything," She said also mystified.

"And as for why he remember the pudding and not you," Bustopher Jones continued speaking to Tugger. "Is because ever since then I've taken him to Tomb for pudding on all our outings!"

"Humpff!" Was all Tugger could think to say. Bustopher Jones' argument was made sense, but it still hurt that Mistoffelees didn't even remember the tiniest bit of their first meeting.

"I remember the first time we meet," Bomba said to Tugger rubbing sensually against his leg. Before Tugger could respond Mistoffelees moaned. "I'm going to be sick," He said clutching his stomach. In an instant Bustopher Jones was by his nephew's side. He quickly turned him away from the other cats and the rhythmical sound of Mistoffelees throwing up could be heard.

Tugger realizing that his mate was in distress quickly untangled himself from the two queens and run over too where the two tuxedo cats where, but every attempted he made to get on ether side of Mistoffelees was blocked by Bustopher Jones' impeccable back.

"That's it, don't try to fight it. Just cough it all up," Bustopher Jones said comfortingly rubbing the younger cat's back.

"Oh, Uncle I'm a mess," The younger cat said looking down at himself.

"Not to worry my boy. We'll get you cleaned up in no time," Bustopher Jones said as he removed his cravat and Tugger hurriedly removed his bandana, but Bustopher Jones was already clean his nephew up. Tugger sighed dejectedly at not being to be any help to his mate.

"How ashamed you must be of me," Mistoffeless said to his uncle miserably.

"Nonsense, why would I be?" The other tom asked as he continued to clean him up.

"I'm a drunken mess," He sniffed.

"So is Lord Somebody-or-Other every time I see him, why he's the most pickled cat in London."

"Mother and Father are going to be so disappointed in when they find out-out about this," He said hiccupping.

"Why do you say that?"

"You know how Mother feels about drinking and-and the son of a pirate who can't hold his liquor, oh the shame of it," He said as fresh tears began to fall from his eyes.

"They'll understand."

"I'm a terrible role model for my little brothers and sisters, and Tugger's cross with me for something I don't remember doing and I hate it when he's cross with," Mistoffelees said sounding more miserable with every word.

"No, no," Tugger said finally able to get Mistoffelees' side and taking him in his arms. "I'm over it, it's forgotten!"

"You're being moody again," His mate said resting his head his chest.

"Yeah, I knew I'm sorry," Tugger said hoping to calm him down.

"I feel so awful. I just want to lay down and go to sleep," The Magical cat said.

"Then why don't you?" His uncle asked as if specking to a kitten.

"Mother's honor."

"I will restore your mother's honor. You go to sleep."

"But," The younger tom began to protest.

"Quaxo," Bustopher Jones said in his sternest voice causing the young cat to try to stand at attention. "What have your parents always told you to do when you're with me?"

"I have to watch you like a small helpless kitten because if you fall down you're not getting up again without a lot of help," He said automatically.

Skimbles laughed at the remark making both Jenny and Jelly swat him.

"Yes," Said Bustopher Jones. "And Uncle is vary pleased that you made sure I didn't fall during my song. You're a good nephew," He said patting him on the head. "But what else did they say?"

"I have to mind what you say."

"And have you been minding me?"

"No sir," Mistoffelees said softly feeling like he was a little kitten again. "But…"

"Quaxo, your health is more important then your mother's honor and she would be the first to agree with that. Now I want you to go to sleep before you get any more ill."

"Listen to your Uncle," Old Deuteronomy said in his father knows best voice.

Mistoffelees just stared back at his uncle stubbornly. Bustopher Jones sighed he had one more tactic to use and he was loath to use it.

"Quaxo, you don't want Rum Tum Tugger to become cross with you again, do you?" He said in low voice.

"Huh?" Came the twin reply of both mates.

"You are not being very considerate of your mate's feeling," He continued. "Do you think he enjoys seeing you get weaker and sicker as your magic eats away at you because of your own stubborn family pride? Do you think his heart fills with joy at the thought you could die from this?"

"Die?" Tugger squeaked in horror at the thought. Mistoffelees could die from not resting after unplanned magic use? Tugger could barely breath thinking about it. It was just too horrible.

"I'm sure Duet here, could tell all about the pain of when your mates dies, couldn't you old boy?"

The large elderly cat nodded solemnly in response.

"Watching your mate die is even worse I'm sure isn't it?"

Again the Jellicle leader nodded grimly. Tugger didn't understand why his father stopped being so warm and caring, he should be comforting him. Telling him that Mistoffelees would be fine.

"But you're not dying of old age or an incurable illness," The cat about town went on. "It's something you're doing to yourself and you could stop it, if you really cared about your mate. If I were Rum Tum Tugger I should be very cross at you for putting me though this."

Suddenly Tugger caught on to what Bustopher Jones and his father were doing, some sort of emotional blackmail to get Misto to go sleep and with a heavy heart Tugger realized he'd have to play along as Mistoffelees turned his head to look at him. Tugger did his best to look angry with him. It was easy since he was angry at things had gotten so out of hand er paw.

"It wouldn't supersize me if he dropped you right here and now and took up with Miss Bombalurina."

It took all of Tugger's inner will power not to vigorously deny what Bustopher Jones was saying, but he understood and what he was playing at now, the break his heart to save him bit. Tugger prayed to the Everlasting Cat it would and he, himself would not end up with a broken heart because of it.

"She would put his needs above her petty ones."

"T-Tug?" Mistoffelees said ether hesitantly or drunkenly Tugger wasn't quite sure at this point, but he seemed to be waiting for him to say something. Tugger knew what he had to do and he didn't like it one bit. He loosened his hold on his mate and looked over to where the scarlet queen was. Hoping Mistofflees would think he was thinking about leaving him. She was bending over looking down at Munkustrap, who was still on the ground in shock. Well at least he didn't have to pretend to enjoy the view, he always did think Bomba had the best hindquarters out of all the queens.

After what seemed to Tugger like hours, which were of course a minute or two Mistoffeless, sighed dejectedly, shoulders slumped in defeat.

"I'm just too tired. I just, I just…I just want to sleep. I'm going to go to sleep. You…you take of it Uncle."

"Come on I'll carry you back to my den, love buddy," Tugger said getting ready to pick him up.

"I told you never to call me that," Mistofflees said side stepping him. 'Who dose The Rum Tum Tugger think he is anyhow? One minuet thinking about leaving me and then the next calling me a dumb pet name. Jerk!' Mistoffelees thought angrily "And I want to sleep in the sunlight on the car."

Tugger wasn't about to argue with him at this point, if Mistoffelees wanted to sleep in a cabbage patch he's find a way to bring him there.

"Well let carry you to the car then," Tugger said hopefully sensing his mate's anger at him.

"I can mange," Mistoffelees said, though when he did try to take another step he nearly fell over causing the three cats around him franticly grab hold of him to keep him from falling. "The ground is moving on me."

In one quick motion Rum Tum Tugger pick up Mistoffelees and throw him once again over shoulder.

"Don't fight it love buddy, just enjoy the view," Tugger told him as he being walking towards the TSE-1.

"I'll vomit on that view," Mistoffelees grumbled.

"As long as you clean it off afterwards," Tugger relied smugly.

"Bomba can clean it off. You'd like that."

"I would not," Tugger told him not sure if he should be pleased or worried that Mistoffelees was showing signs of jealousy. The magical cat only got jealous over the girl and that was when he thought she was starting to prefer Tugger to him, but never when Tugger paid attention or flirted with over cats which was everyday. Well Tugger would make it up to him he'd give up flirting for a week and try to use the litter box more often. Once they reached the top of the TSE-1 Mistoffelees scrambled off Tugger and began curl up in a tight ball where the sunlight was hitting the roof. Tugger stretch out beside him and gestured for Mistoffelees to curl up next to him.

"The Rum Tum Tugger doesn't care for a cuddle," Mistoffelees said as he covered his face with his paws.

"He doesn't mind being a body pillow once and awhile," Tugger told him.

Mistoffelees just breathed slowly though his nose and curled up in an even tighter ball away from him.

Tugger frowned Mistoffelees had to be both really out of it and really mad to pass up a rare chance to cuddle with The Rum Tum Tugger.

Perhaps a nice lullaby would help soothe him? Leaning down Tugger began to sing quietly into his mate's ear.

"Try not to get worried/Try not to turn on to/Problems the upset you/Oh don't you know/Everything's alright/Yes everything's fine/And we want you to sleep well tonight/Let world turn without you tonight/If we try/We'll get by/So forget all about us tonight/Everything's all right/Yes everything's all right yes/Sleep and I shall soothe you/Calm and…"

"I'm trying to sleep," Mistoffelees said interrupting the lullaby. "Stop caterwauling in my ear you…you annoying…big…fat…fluffy-butt," And with that last insult Mistoffelees promptly fell asleep.

'Fat?' Tugger thought horrified looking down at himself.

7-Day Healthy Meal Plan

I can’t believe it is almost July 4th!! In this week’s meal plan you will notice that there is more meat (beef) for the weekend than I usually include. This is for those that might be BBQ-ing for the holiday and serving a small crowd. If meat is too expensive or hard to find, you can swap it for chicken or fish. You can also check my recipes under the July 4th holiday tab. I have also included interchangeable meals for both Saturday and Sunday lunch and dinner meals so you can pick and choose or move things around to work for your schedule. Have a safe and happy 4th!

Why Should Everyone Meal Plan?

Meal planning is a great way to organize your meals for the week ahead. You also save time and money in the supermarket! And of course, planning ahead helps you stick to your goals!

About The Meal Plan

If you’re new to my meal plans, I’ve been sharing these free, 7-day flexible healthy meal plans (you can see my previous meal plans here) that are meant as a guide, with plenty of wiggle room for you to add more food, coffee, beverages, fruits, snacks, dessert, wine, etc or swap recipes out for meals you prefer, you can search for recipes by course in the index. You should aim for around 1500 calories* per day.

There’s also a precise, organized grocery list that will make grocery shopping so much easier and much less stressful. Save you money and time. You’ll dine out less often, waste less food and you’ll have everything you need on hand to help keep you on track.

THE DETAILS:

Breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday, are designed to serve 1 while dinners and all meals on Saturday and Sunday are designed to serve a family of 4. Some recipes make enough leftovers for two nights or lunch the next day. While we truly believe there is no one size fits all meal plan, we did our best to come up with something that appeals to a wide range of individuals. Everything is Weight Watchers friendly, I included the updated WW Blue SP for your convenience, feel free to swap out any recipes you wish or just use this for inspiration!

The grocery list is comprehensive and includes everything you need to make all meals on the plan. I’ve even included brand recommendations of products I love and use often. Cross check your cabinets because many condiments you’ll notice I use often, so you may already have a lot of them.

And last, but certainly not least, this meal plan is flexible and realistic. There’s plenty of wiggle room for cocktails, healthy snacks, dessert and dinner out. And if necessary, you can move some things around to make it work with your schedule. Please let me know if you’re using these plans, this will help me decide if I should continue sharing them!
