Just a nice memory - an old school selfie 🤳 taken in a mirror by my brother of him, my dad & me 😛 visiting my dad's mother in Port Hope. She had Alzheimer's but we managed to have a fun trip anyways. My dad was an only child & his mother brought him to Canada from the UK as a teenager. She was a difficult woman but had also lived a fairly tragic Dickensian life. Yesterday marked 6 years that I lost my hero, my dad. What super powers did he have? He was always ready to save day with just a call, he was able to turn Christmas 🎄 into SUPER Christmas with his contagious joy, he had the ability to listen for hours, he had a smile that could be resisted, a confidence that could not be broken, super strength at difficult turns in life, and was always a GIANT to his little girl.......who keeps him close to her ❤️ heart everyday.
