On what would've been my grandad's 95th birthday, I've been fortunate enough to have visited him and grandma today - I haven't been back to Lowestoft since we buried her in November 2019 - but I wasn't ready for it, not by a long way.. Nearly 2yrs on and it still breaks me.. My kitchen, when I cook, is never clean. Nana called me, “Messy Marvin” for a reason, y’all!! As we come up to October 4 (13 years) of Nana’s death and October 5 (3 years) of Andy’s death, and October 24 (12 years) of Papa’s death...we used to love the month of October...here is Nana and Papa’s Zucchini Relish in the making (thanks to Uncle Mike and Aunt Therese for the zucchini since I planted the wrong kind!!!)
