School’s out for summer and I’m almost into my #thirdtrimester so it’s only right I take a #babymoon to my favorite peaceful place, the #beach! I’m not picky about my beaches honestly (well, the one time I went to Galveston I wasn’t impressed)...but as long as there’s sand and waves and a sunrise or sunset I’m in heaven. I had to forego bringing my travel buddy Bailey for a few reasons. I badly wanted to bring her because with a second baby on the way I know our traveling desires will be curbed for a bit😢. And every time this girl sees a plane she says it’s going to the beach. She’s already obsessed! So part of me feels bad that I couldn’t bring her. I legit didn’t tell her where I was going because I don’t want her asking to go (anymore than she already does). However 1- she cant easily sit on my lap with my bump being so large and she’s not quite two so I don’t need to buy her a ticket. 2- my Airbnb of choice has a pool and for that reason they are strict about not having children under 12 stay (for insurance purposes). And this Airbnb is $50 a night WITH continental breakfast AND it’s a 5 minute drive or 20-30 min walk to the beach. I couldn’t pass this up. 3- being pregnant I really didn’t feel like carrying too much. I’m currently traveling with one, yes one, backpack. And it’s not heavy. I don’t get cute to sit on the beach and shop and eat and those are the only things I’m planning to do. But when traveling with Bailey I need a whoooooole lot for her so my hands would’ve been full and back hurting. #missingmybabygirl #butalso #enjoyingmytimealone (at Sunset Beach)

Another year, another visit gone by. Seems like every year it goes by faster and it gets harder to say good bye. This year it’s been very very hard. I can’t express what joy it gives me to be around Jessica. We ate good food, had many laughs, watched funny shows, saw good movies and did lots and lots of art together!! It was hard to say good bye again. Until the next time! (Hopefully me in Nepal)!
