08.04.21// with my second lockdown birthday coming up, I’m more than happy to be finished my course work (with the exception of term papers). I’m over the fact that I won’t be seeing anyone or doing anything for the second year in a row, I just hope the weather is nice so I can go for a walk to get a coffee!

Went to a mini vacation in a Greek island. I had to study but it is way more fun if you do it in nature. And it is even better if you have a cat for company😸 On my way back I was studying Ancient Greek on the boat while listening to Lana del rey💁♀️

ig: herdrafts Lately short stories/nonfiction interest me, captivated also by the art of writing essays, as a reader who gets fascinated by the author’s writing style most of the time, I’m discovering it as an inspiration for my reviews and my unsuccessful attempts to write a novel.

The thing I love about learning is that as you learn new things, you realize there’s always more to know. Always. You will never run out of things to find out, and when you find them out, you will always find more. It’s both inspiring and frightening.

summer study challenge | 2020.07.14— have your plans changed at all because of the pandemic?
this summer i had planned on doing an online course or two but i really hate online courses, so i decided not to do take them.
i was also hoping to do a little more in the local métis community over the summer, and start putting more effort into my reconnection, but obviously that didn’t happen.
so here we are— me, sitting in my room and reading books ft. earrings that i can’t wear because i took my studs out for just a few days and my piercings grew over.

I received my final grades today and I’m happy to say I’ll be graduating law school with an upper second class honours degree.
Thank you to the many coffee shops that supported my studies over the years and to my partner who probably knows as much about the law as I do after listening to all my “want to know something cool” statements. We did it!
