That’s difficult to say… Can ‘no’ be an answer? Maybe not? Well, the detective has many walls up around his personality that it makes it difficult for anyone to find him adorable. Even when handling things he enjoys, he is a contained individual that doesn’t just explode at the sight of something interesting or fun. However, if someone is able to adequately push his buttons to the point of embarrassing him, then that person will be able to witness a man capable of being flustered and even losing his composure.

chokes back a sob and my shame ♮

Hibiki’s heart skipped a beat when out of nowhere someone wrapped their arms around his waist from behind. Being on guard all of a sudden (someone who could sneak up on him like that could potentially be dangerous!), Hibiki looked over his shoulder as well as he could to identify his “captor”. 

Upon catching a glimpse of who was hugging him from behind the tension in his shoulders eased. Unwittingly, he leaned into the touch and smiled. 

“Hey...” Hibiki greeted Naoto softly, placing his hand over hers and tenderly tracing her knuckles with his thumb. “What are you doing? Did you miss me?”

He often comes across as being bored, but if a challenge is presented to him, 99% of the time he'll respond in kind. Though he gives the impression of being aloof, stoic, and serious, he can become animated and more talkative when doing or talking about something he enjoys or is enthusiastic about.

You tried (YAYAYA DAY OFF!!)

You tried: Your muse is asked to do something they know nothing about while my muse watches, or the other way around.

Who knew a desk job was actually really difficult...

Well, it wasn't impossible, but Machiko was just beginning to think that this part-time work over the winter break might have been a little more than she'd bargained for. She was filing papers for the TCDF during the holidays, a busy time of the year for them since a lot of people had break from work or school. Shirogane-kun had helped her secure the job, but not even a half hour into her work, she was becoming flustered and confused.

She couldn't blame the department for the lackluster training... Everyone was really busy. Really, really busy.

This was the third time Shirogane-kun had brought her a small stack of paperwork that needed to be worked out into the filing cabinets, but for the second time, Machiko had to ask him to put it on the stack that she was struggling to put away. She was very obviously out of her element here and it was embarrassing to think that Shirogane-kun might realize that. So, when she turned around to see him again, she gave him a meek, pleading look.

"Oh..." he mused softly, setting the papers in his hands down on the counter. "You look lost. Is there something in particular that you need help locating, Uemura-san?"

Nodding stiffly, Machiko gripped the papers in her hands and bowed. "I-I'm sorry! I'm trying, but... It's a maze down here..."

With a sympathetic smile, Shirogane-kun meandered around the counter and offered his hand to take what Machiko held. "I will help you for a few minutes. It is my lunch break, so I have the time."

"L-lunch-- You should go eat--!"

"No, it is fine. Alright, let's see..."

How does your muse handle strange and/or awkward situations?  Are they aware of the elephant in the room?

He’s very sensitive to awkward changes in atmosphere, but tends to not act on them unless they involve him or his friends directly. He tries to objectively observe the situation and remains as much as an outsider as possible. Hiro doesn’t think he can alleviate the problem much, anyways, knowing that he’s not that spectacular when it comes to casual social interactions.

Being in high spirits, Hibiki had made a short video on his cell phone of Muffy’s babies. It went without saying he loved them and that he was very proud of their mommy. Wanting to show the kits off he had recorded them snuggling and sleeping. Seeing them on screen wasn’t the same as holding them and feeling their warmth, but it got most of their cuteness across.

While still sitting on the floor and watching over the kits, Hibiki sent Naoto the video with a message attached. The message read:

Muffy had her babies!!! They are so sweet and precious. (´∀｀)♡ I sent you this video just to show you how cute they are. They are 2 weeks old now. I don’t have names for them yet. ━Σ(ﾟДﾟ|||)━ I should think of some names soon, but I want to know what their personalities are like first. Maybe you have any suggestions? ヾ(≧∇≦*)ゝ

The thought of naming one of them ‘Naoto’ had crossed Hibiki’s mind, but that didn’t seem like a good idea. Knowing two Naoto’s would just be confusing. Not to mention it would break his heart it he would have to part form bunny Naoto. Definitely not a good idea!
