As a child, you always remembered Alastor as a shy little boy. Really, you were his only friend. He didn't go to school like you did. His mother homeschooled him, while he was too awkward to go make friends with anyone else. Besides, you were really only friends with him because your mothers were friends.

That didn't mean you didn't like your playdates with him. He was soft-spoken and always carried around that silly teddy bear with an ugly bow tie.

You stole that bear, teasing him and hiding it. He cried for hours until your mother made you give it back.

Summer vacations were when you spent the most time with Alastor. That was also around the time when you were playing in his driveway with chalk. He was closer to the road while drawing some kind of radio. He was obsessed with those things. He wanted to learn how to make them.

You were close to his house, drawing a house with a family. At first, you didn't notice them, but eventually, you did when they came riding up on their bikes. You knew them from school, they were a group of boys that lived on this street as well.

Let's just say that day did not end well for anyone. Alastor finally lost his stuffed bear for good, thanks to the bullies. You ended up grounded for a few weeks for covering yourself in cuts and bruises. But each of those boys certainly learned their lesson not to mess with you or Alastor ever again.

But that never changed as you grew up together. Alastor was always in need of saving for some reason. He never got into trouble, but trouble loved finding him. You got into many many fights for his sake.

So you really had no idea what changed now. He was so different from the child you'd run into battle for. In fact, he was more likely to run into battle for the sheer joy of it. So you finally asked him what changed. What made him grow into something he could never be as a child.

And his answer was very sad, in your opinion. However, Alastor didn't see it that way. "You know one day you just get pushed and pushed... and pushed so far... that you just... Snap," He snapped his finger for effect. You didn't ask for details when he told you that. You understood to a degree. But you later learned down the line that it was far worse than you guessed.

Apparently, Alastor didn't just snap, he went full psychopath. He killed a bunch of people then apparently killed himself. It came up in a discussion once. He had asked you how you died. You told him, "I was killed in a car accident. Funny... I was walking then I wasn't. Then I was here."

It was really odd how Alastor kept asking about your death. He wanted details. He wanted.... names. It didn't occur to you at the time what he was doing. But later into your new afterlife, you found that Alastor had found the person that killed you and did... you don't know what... But he did something... To them. They weren't alive but they also weren't in hell.

That was something that changed. He protected you now. Any time you found yourself in the eye of danger Alastor was never far. And he was never kind to whatever threatened you. Trouble loved finding you now and loved making itself known. You thought had been cursed of some kind but Alastor assured you that hell was just this bad. It was a free-for-all and anyone was at risk.

It didn't take long for you to almost always be by Alastor's side. Not only was it easier this way, but it was never lonely. He was so charismatic and bold, never shy, and always looking forward to conflict. This version of Alastor was very different from the one you use to know. But you liked that, you liked how he changed so drastically and went as far as to enjoy every second you had with him.

So Alastor head canon on finally introducing him to movies and how they are not like the evil spawn of vox. Hahahaha

((WHEEZES.... HACKS... I had such a hard time doing this idk why xD I just can't see alastor ever siding with movies or tv because his hate for Vox is just to strong xDDDD))

It took a lot of pleading and begging. And bribing. Don't forget that one. You had to do everything under the sun and moon to get Alastor to sit down for this one movie.

You had to make sure it was perfect in every way. If anything was to go wrong you weren't sure you could make Alastor stay.

So you spent probably a good day and a half figuring out the perfect movie for him. You thought of Bambi but said that was too cliche. He'd probably enjoy it, but not nearly as much as the movie you decided on.

No no, if you wanted to get Alastor into movies, you knew you had to appeal to his inner nature. You choose the classic, Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1974.

Did your plan work? Well, let's just say he fell. Hook, line, and sinker. You knew the only way you could get Alastor to enjoy movies was by showing him the bloody, gory horror movies of the classic days. Then, maybe, if he was up for it, you'd show him newer horror movies.

He really liked Saw, that one was one of his favorites. Along with The Shining. That one very much appealed to Alastor seeing as he loved ax murderers.

You knew you were lucky to get him to watch one movie, but eventually, you got him down to four movies, then five. The sixth and seventh one was 2017's It Part One and Part Two. That was by far Alastor's favorite movie. And there was really no need to explain why. Something about a clown terrorizing a town and violently eating people to taste their fear.... Well... Didn't that sound a little familiar to Alastor.

And lucky you, your plan to trick Alastor into liking movies. Though he'd never admit it out loud, and you were the only person to know his secret. Now TV was and will be a different story because the world knows Alastor will never watch TV.
