happy birthday luci lawliet! have a bunch of fun facts about her birthday!
yes her birthday is the ides of march
she is aware of the irony
she doesn't like to think about it
her first two birthdays (when her mother was alive) were small celebrations with just her mom and maternal grandparents
she had a personalized cake made by her grandfather
her next two birthdays were when she was being raised by L
the successors threw a huge (for wammys house anyway) celebration for her
mello did her hair, Linda made decorations, near brought out his puzzle collection, and matt set up his video games
the birthday she had at task force headquarters was significantly smaller
it was just her, L ,and watari
they all made a birthday cake together
after L dies she doesn't do much for her birthday
she and Linda usually fly to wisconsin to have dinner with her grandparents
sometimes the misora-penber kids are there too
her 10th birthday was her first birthday after the kira case closed
she spent it at her maternal grandparents farm in wisconsin
anghel keehl, the misor-penber kids, and naomi misora's parents were all there too
after that she is always in Japan for her birthday
she and raia misora have 22 days between their birthdays so after the kira case closed and it was safe their guardians (mello/matt/niki & naomi misora's parents respectively) make sure they are always in the same city for their birthdays bc they are best friends
luci usually likes to do some sort of family activity (movie, museum, aquarium, ect.) and then have dinner with her family, the misora-penbers, and whoever in the task force & family wants to go (usually its matsuda & his partner & mogi & his husband)

„Mit akarsz tőlem?” – Dror ideges, új tőle ez a hangnem, mégsem nem tud kibillenteni a nehezen megtalált egyensúlyomból, amire annyira vigyázok mindig. Az irodában vagyok, ahol a délelőtti órák csöndjében szeretném végre végiggondolni a tegnapot, de Dror nem hagyja, mert a fülembe hadar a vonal másik végéről a Misor Adumimi autószervízből, ahová én szalajtottam ma reggel. A beszélgetés…

Deuteronomy 3:1-11
The Defeat of Og
1And we turned and went by the way leading to Basan; and Og the king of Basan came out to meet us, he and all his people, to battle at Edraim. 2And the Lord said to me, Fear him not, for I have delivered him, and all his people, and all his land, into thy hands; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst to Seon king of the Amorites who dwelt in Esebon. 3And the Lord our God delivered him into our hands, even Og the king of Basan, and all his people; and we smote him until we left none of his seed. 4And we mastered all his cities at that time; there was not a city which we took not from them; sixty cities, all the country round about Argob, belonging to king Og in Basan: 5all strong cities, lofty walls, gates and bars; besides the very many cities of the Pherezites. 6We utterly destroyed them as we dealt with Seon the king of Esebon, so we utterly destroyed every city in order, and the women and the children, 7and all the cattle; and we took for a prey to ourselves the spoil of the cities.
8And we took at that time the land out of the hands of the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond Jordan, extending from the brook of Arnon even unto Aermon. 9The Phoenicians call Aermon Sanior, but the Amorite has called it Sanir. 10All the cities of Misor, and all Galaad, and all Basan as far as Elcha and Edraim, cities of the kingdom of Og in Basan. 11For only Og the king of Basan was left of the Raphain: behold, his bed was a bed of iron; behold, it is in the chief city of the children of Ammon; the length of it is nine cubits, and the breadth of it four cubits, according to the cubit of a man.
Joshua 12:1-6
The Kings Defeated East of the Jordan
1And these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel slew, and inherited their land beyond Jordan from the east, from the valley of Arnon to the mount of Aermon, and all the land of Araba on the east. 2Seon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Esebon, ruling from Arnon, which is in the valley, on the side of the valley, and half of Galaad as far as Jaboc, the borders of the children of Ammon. 3And Araba as far as the sea of Chenereth eastward, and as far as the sea of Araba; the salt sea eastward by the way to Asimoth, from Thaeman under Asedoth Phasga. 4And Og king of Basan, who dwelt in Astaroth and in Edrain, was left of the giants 5ruling from mount Aermon and from Secchai, and over all the land of Basan to the borders of Gergesi, and Machi, and the half of Galaad of the borders of Seon king of Esebon. 6Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel smote them; and Moses gave them by way of inheritance to Ruben, and Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasse.

Sinulom Falls. A couple of years ago, my parents went to this falls for their #chasingwaterfalls challenge, which was to visit 12 falls around the vicinity of Region X in time for their 12-year wedding anniversary. They didnt have to go far. And as you can see here, there are around 21 falls-lets (if you can call them that). The water was very cold and super clean. But the current of the river which the falls eventually fell to made my mom nervous.
