10) Miskina season 1

The first French tv show with a poc main character that does not hate her heritage (cultural and religious) and a beautiful tribute to kabyle algerian weddings and landscapes.

9) This is us season 6

A beautiful (but long awaited) final chapter to one of the best if not the best family contemporary drama. Sad. Emotional. Homely.

8) Parliament, season 2

At last a European political show. The main character is goofy but smart. The show is funny but at the same time we learn a lot about the politcal institutions. The unrequited romance is comical and Liz Kingsman is so good in this.

7) Grey's anatomy season 19

Yay at last the show is renewing itself with a new class of interns, endearing new characters with interesting backgrounds.

6) Undone, season 2

A beautiful, unique production. This season has such important social commentary on grief and mental health. The magical realism is so well done and it takes us on philosophical meanderings of what ifs... Creative. Must watch.

5) Derry girls, season 3

A perfect ending for this coming of age show with the good friday agreement as the background historical moment to finish up their teenage years.

4) Aaaaand it's a tie for the 4th place

Killing eve season 4 // Outlander season 6

I am obsessed with these two shows so I'm so disappointed that they do not get to be in the podium for me this year but it is what it is...

3) This is going to hurt

Cynical but funny

Sad but sweet

Heartbreaking but heartwarming

This show manages to capture the tragic reality of public health systems and yes it hurts to watch but it's a must watch !!!

2) The handmaid's tale season 5

Wow what a season. Such beautiful cinematography. Discussions around revenge and mental health. The political thriller of the first seasons is back in this one and the suspense is thrilling !!

1) Severance, season 1

This is such an underrated show about the alienation of workers in a company that cuts their memories when they enter the building. A social commentary on corporate world obviously... ironically produced by Apple 😭

Vous vous souvenez de cette collègue que j'ai fait virer "sans faire exprès" ? (Cf x) il se trouve qu'elle est revenue au lycée pour faire je ne sais quoi et déjà elle passe le portail et dit à des collègues qu'elle voulait voir la "poucave" et le "sale pd" qui l'avait fait virer (donc moi lol) et je l'ai croisé dans l'établissement sauf que la meuf elle baisse les yeux en mode intimidée mdr miskina ça fait la maligne mais ça baisse les yeux puis en partant elle a dit à des collègues qu'elle avait vu le "petit pd" ptdr y a pas à être rageuse comme ça moi je voulais me faire taper et faire un accident du travail

Kyrillios version Littlest Petshop

Je me suis demandée si faire des créations autour des petshops étaient considéré comme de l'art furry, mais normalement les furry c'est des animaux anthropomorphiques. Et là c'est plus le mélange d'un chien et d'un rouge gorge ?

Je crois, que je l'avais commencé l'année dernière à sculpter les ailes, (ailes oreilles et aile queue parce que pourquoi pas) et entre mon travail et mes créations artistiques, j'ai complétement délaissé ce pauvre Kyrillos (d'ailleurs je ne me suis toujours pas mise d'accord -avec moi même- sur l'orthographe de celui-ci).

Vu que je n'ai plus de travail et que je serai bientôt travailleuse handicapée (je vous raconte pas ma vie mais l'année dernière on m'avait vendu un avenir bieng dans l'industrie, c'était bieng jusqu'à que mon corps lâche) et que au bout de 4 mois d'arrêt maladie je me faisais royalement chier - je me suis remise à la création, que j'avais délaissé à cause de mon travail et de mes douleurs.

Donc nous voilà fin juin, et je retrouve au fond d'une caisse ce pauvre toutou, obligée de le continuer, le pauuuuvre.

Un p'tit peu de peinture acrylique, de la pâte polymère et de bon pinceau pour cette petite créature.

Dans le détail de la peinture j'ai rajouté des zébrures, ce ne sont pas des cicatrices, c'est des zébrures dorées parce que ça faisait jolis.....

Après sur les ailes c'est censée être des étoiles ✨ bon j'ai eu la flemme et un peu mal au dos et à la fin ça donne des croix. (Croix qui ne sont pas toujours associés aux chrétiens et bon les anges à la base ça appartient à la kabbale..)

Puis les photos dans la cour c'est parfait avec la canicule qui arrive doucement, j'ai droit à quelques rayons de soleil, entre deux orages (vive le sud...) .

Parfois je pense au jour où je vais mourir, mes proches donneront sans doute ce kyrillos à un emmaus (tout comme mes 800 petshops) et personne ne saura qu'à la base c'est un OOC de cyril mp4.

bref on se dit à dans six mois, avec la prochaine adaptation de Kyrillios, pas de la 3D parce que miskina j'ai pas trouvé de formation avec pole emploi et les écoles c tro cher.

Bon en vrai je reviendrai peut-être avant pour écrire le lore de Kyrillos :)

Miniature Paintings

Miniature paintings are characterised with small and detailed paintings.

Human forms are most commonly seen from the side, with large eyes, a narrow waist, a sharp nose, and so on.

The full flowering of miniature painting began when India came into direct contact with the Islamic Civilisations.

Pala School

The earliest examples of miniature painting in India exist in the form of illustrations to the religious texts on Buddhism executed under the Palas of the eastern India and the Jain texts executed in western India during the 11th-12th centuries A.D.

A large number of manuscripts on palm-leaf relating to the Buddhist themes were written and illustrated with the images of Buddhist deities at centres such as- Nalanda, Odantapuri, Vikramsila and Somarupa

Lonely single figures were commonly found and we can rarely find group figures in this school.

These paintings were also used and patronised by followers of the Vajrayana school of Buddhism.

Pala painting shows a naturalistic style and is characterised by sinuous lines and subdued tones of colour.

The Pala art came to a sudden end after the destruction of the Buddhist monasteries at the hands of Muslim invaders in the first half of the 13th century.

Mughal Paintings

The Mughal paintings combined Safavid school of Persian art and Indian art.

They concentrated their efforts on scenes of hunting, historical events, and other court-related matters.

In the beginning of Akbar’s rule a studio of painting was established under the supervision of two Persian masters, Mir Sayyed Ali and Abdul Samad Khan, who were originally employed by his father Humayun.

It is marked by supple naturalism based on close observation of nature and fine and delicate drawing and is primarily aristocratic and secular.

An illustrated manuscript of theTuti-nama in the Cleveland Museum of Art (USA) appears to be the first work of the Mughal School.

The school reached its peak during the reign of Jahangir.

Some of the famous painters in Akbar’s court other than the two Persian masters already mentioned are Dasvanth, Miskina, Nanha, Kanha, Basawan, Manohar, Doulat, Mansur, Kesu, Bhim Gujarati, etc.

The famous painters of Jahangir are Aqa Riza, Abul Hasan, Mansur, Bishan Das, Manohar, Goverdhan, Balchand, Daulat, Mukhlis, Bhim and Inayat.

I have watched Miskina, la pauvre, a Prime show which is quite silly one about an Algerian-French woman who hasn’t taken control of her life but I loved how identity is portrayed.

I read Hija de inmigrantes by Safia El Aaddam which surprisingly I didn’t identify at all with the experiences she describes in her book. And reading this made me understand that not everybody has similar experiences based on their race.

I also read a Spanish paper (I can’t find now) about mixed children living in Spain with different experiences as well.

Now I want to read The Racism of People Who Love You: Essays on Mixed Race Belonging and some books written by Najat El Hachmi.

I always felt weird about being a mixed person (in my case, Spanish dad-Moroccan mom) because it was like I didn't belong to Spain neither Morocco.

As I get older I start to feel the differences are even greater; it's mainly about everything related to both cultures.

Sometimes I feel slightly empty, it's like I'm incomplete and started to read about how I feel. This way I found that more people feel this way, people whose parents are first generation inmigrants: they don't identify themselves completely to a neither country/culture.

Anyway I haven't found too much research (at least in Spanish) about this but I'm still looking for more information that may help me someway.
