1. Are you named after anyone?

Not that I know of!

2. When was the last time you cried?

Today. I am the most stereotypical pisces there ever was, I cry at everything haha.

3. Do you have kids?

Only my plant babies🪴I have like 30 lol

4. What sports do you play/ have you played?

I LOVE sports! I do/did swimming, ice-skating, tennis, badminton, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and skiing :)

5. Do you use sarcasm?

When it's appropriate haha

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Probably their smile? I really respond well to people who can outwardly signal that they like me or are engaged in conversation. Not in the sense that people have to smile all the time, but just that when they do it's genuine and heartfelt.

7. What's your eye colour?

Dark brown

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Definitely team happy endings

9. Any talents?

I love cooking, artsy stuff (like painting, scrapbooking, etc.), and music (I play in a local orchestra and occasionally dabble in ukulele)

10. Where were you born?

California!

11. What are your hobbies?

Listening to audiobooks and hiking (sometimes at the same time)

12. Do you have any pets?

I like to joke that I have partial custody of my ex-roommate's dog because I help watch him so often LOL

5' 10"/ 178cm (I am quite tol for a gorl)

14. Favourite subject in school?

Anything English related - I got straight A+'s in my AP English Literature class senior year of high school 😂

2. What's your Ao3 word count?

101,352. And almost all of that has been in 2023!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Right now, only Star Wars! In the past, I've written for Transformers as well, but I wasn't as dedicated to writing for that fandom as I am Star Wars. I actually started out in fandom as a beta reader and an artist; writing is pretty new to me!

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

5. Do you respond to comments?

Always! I adore all of my readers and love a good joint flail in a comment thread!

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Falling Deep Into You. Let me tell you... the boys have it BAD in this one, but we do love their inability to communicate. This is the first part of a three part series. The second part (Falling For Your Body and Soul) also has an angsty ending, but things are slowly starting to resolve in this installment. There will be a third (and final part), but I haven't started working on it yet!

7. What's the fic your write with the happiest ending?

That would be out of our hands. This one starts out angsty as fuck, but resolves into the most tooth rotting, disgustingly soft fluff I've ever written. Close second would be Those Eyes Like Fire, which is mostly snark with a side of fluff.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not so far! Though I have had hateful comments on my art in the past, and it's never fun to deal with. Fuck the haters!

9. Do you write smut? What kind?

Do I write smut... *checks AO3*. Yep, everything I write is smut. 🤣🤣🤣 I do lean towards more kink-focused/taboo smut. You know what they say... write the things that you would want to read as a reader!

10. Do you write cross-overs?

Not so far, and not sure I could do it justice!

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not yet, but if anyone would like to... feel free to drop me a dm! 👀

13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

I have! Unfortunately, it's no longer posted, but it was a lovely experience that I would do again in a heartbeat. ALSO planning to cowrite one with @mischievouschan4 in the new year. 💖

14. What's your all time favourite ship?

I have a few! Obikin, Kylux, Kalluzeb, and Snarry!

15. What's your WIP you like to finish, but doubt you ever will?

I actually don't have one of these! I only have two WIPs at the moment... one of which I'm about to post the final chapter to (Suffocate Me (I'm Still Breathing)). The other is a long fic that I've been picking away at for a while, but fully intend to finish.

16. What are your writing strength?

I like to think that I'm really good at conveying emotion and building tension with words. I've also been told by others that I'm excellent at figurative language.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I'm long-winded. Pretty sure I could get the point I'm trying to make across in a lot fewer words than I end up doing.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I actually LOVE reading fics with dialogue in another language! I'd love to do one myself, but I'm only somewhat passable in French, and I wouldn't want to post something in another language unless I was confident in my own ability.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Transformers... which also happens to be the first fandom that I was heavily involved in! 🤖

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

the way you bend, the way you break and Suffocate Me (I'm Still Breathing), hands down. Both of these drew on some very real personal vulnerabilities, and I feel like they more than adequately represent the piece of my life that they were intended to. I'm very proud to have put them out in the world.

These are my recently opened docs! Mine's just a simple document with my chosen fic/work title, really. Sometimes it takes time for me to choose a title, so there are moments when I come across an untitled doc and have to open it up to the world once again to see what's inside 😂

My personal account gdocs is a mix of all works for fandom and personal ones, like my poems, song lyrics, and original stories! It does get a little confusing especially when I get the urge to rifle through all the files and see what bullcrap I was spouting years ago and I end up surprising myself sometimes like sheesh did I really write that myself??? Good work past me

I’m not exactly sure what the criteria is, so I’ll try and pick ships that I’ve written fanfic for!

1. Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan

I MEAN 😌🤗🤗🤗 what can I say, I love a good power difference dynamic 🙌

2. Lan Zhan/Wei Ying

THEY’RE CANON, YOUR HONOR 🗡�� the only instance where heartbreak is acceptable (bc MXTX fixes it, THANK GOODNESS); also kinda related but I am still firmly camped out in BJYX land so……

3. Jonathan Toews/Patrick Kane

These dumb boys, my forever 1988 heart 🥲 had to sneak some RPF in here 🤭

4. Galo/Lio

Even dumber boys 😪 the enemies to lovers trope is strong with this one, and who doesn’t love that WAIST in Galo’s huge himbo hands LOL (this fic also happens to hold the record for most kudos for me on AO3 🍆 💦 )

5. Iwaizumi Hajime/Oikawa Tooru (aspirational)

The childhood friends to lovers is also a fav 🥹 I identify with Iwa-Chan to my core lol

What a fascinating (and trying) year it was. I’m honestly shocked at how many words I published last year, but maybe it was correlated to how emotionally distressed I was at the time LOL

Anyways, I do have specific goals related to writing in 2024, so I’m excited to see what’s to come! 💪❤️

8. What song would make a great fic (to either write or read)?

OOOOOOOH I have the perfect answer for this one.

I would say 'The Apparition' by Sleep Token. I'm OBSESSED with them, and their album 'Take Me Back to Eden' is one I have on repeat frequently. And the lyrics... damn the lyrics are SO GOOD. I already have two fics titled after their songs... 👀

@mischievouschan4 and I also have a cowritten piece planned, that was inspired by lyrics to this song. We haven't started it yet (both of us have so many projects on the go at the moment), but we're excited to share more about this once it starts to materialize. All I have to say at the moment about it is... Kenobi-era Vaderkin. 😈😇

Also as an aside... most of my fics are actually inspired by song lyrics, or the feelings I get from listening to certain music. And a fun fact... I usually try to use the title of the fic somewhere within the plot!

34. What aspects of your writing are inspired by/taken from your real life?`

I love that you asked this question! Because... I would say that most of my writing is influenced by real life, either a situation I've experienced myself (a lot of my BDSM fic is inspired by my own experiences, scenes I've watched in person, or something I'd like to experience) or a feeling that I want to explore further (I apply it to a fic scenario so that I can delve into it). I find writing very cathartic in this way.

'Suffocate Me (I'm Still Breathing)' is absolutely one of these. It is intended to pay homage to my own experience with PTSD, and it's been extremely healing to look back on the past and dig into things from a place of growth and positive change.

'the way you bend, the way you break' is another of one. CNC is one of my favourite kinks IRL and... lets just say I had a bad experience with in in the past. So, I wrote what I would have wanted to experience instead as a way to make peace with it!

39. Is any aspect of your writing process inspired by other writers or people? If so, who?

Hrmm... I wouldn't say that my writing is inspired by any other writers specifically. When I write, I try to stay true to my own unique style and sound. Though, I'm a big fan of using new and interesting words. So if I stumble across one, I add it to a running list I have, so that I can expand my vocabulary in the future!
