Hello! I feel like I should introduce myself and my project. My name is Donna and I like to draw letters. It started with pointed pen modern calligraphy and I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole of hand lettering ever since. I started this project while taking the #passiontopaid project with @homsweethom. During this time I started to do a few changes to my life. I started going to the gym, eating moderately better (heh, kind of not really), and started focusing more on personal growth and development. I started to realize after going to the gym for a while that I didn’t like standing in view of the mirror during the various classes I took. I wasn’t pleased with what I saw and despite trying be healthy and change things about my life it was still hard to not think poorly of myself. So, I thought of this concept and Mirrored Mantras was born. Hand lettered phrases I could say to myself to boost my self-esteem and help change my internal narrative. Everyone has their own things they struggle with and I hope these kind words can help. Please follow and stick around!
