I have mixed emotions about Aidan being back with Carrie. My small grip with this rekindling is that it feels a bit rushed. It feels like they're jumping so quickly into a relationship without addressing much of their past issues. I hope the writers give them scenes that provides closure to those chaotic chapters; cuz there was a lot of damage done during those years. Some open, honest communication is needed! Especially since Aidan is still very hurt from all the trauma that came out of thier relationship. And yes it wasnt all bad but the pain still lingers, so much so that Aidan vows to never enter Carries brownstone apartment again, because that house stores all of the bad memories of their past. It represents the ending of their relationship and not the new beginning he was looking forward to in this chapter of their ship. Granted they broke up about two decades ago but as Carrie said time doesn't heal all wounds.

I don't know what's going to transpire out of this, but I think the writers need to take baby steps into restarting this relationship, if the plan is to have them be end game. They need to build a strong foundation first and then think about a future together because there's still a lot of unfinished business between them. And as much I love Aidan & enjoyed some parts of their ship, I wish Aiden would've just stayed away from Carrie this time around. Never answered her email and just let her live as a memory in the past.

But I guess since Big is no longer a threat, 3rd times a charm? 🙃

hello i would like to talk about why the way Camrus and the Batwoman team filmed this kiss/sex scene was fucking important

Check out this wildmoore kiss right here (gif by @bat-ryan). Looks hot, right? Look at that lighting, the lingering camera, their clear faces. It's a great kiss, part of a great scene.

But I think we can only see how truly amazing it is when we put it in context. Most [f/f or wlw or sapphic or whatever we call them] kisses on TV are absolute shit—either hair in the face or terrible lighting or bad editing or strange camera angles or sometimes, for funsies, all of that at once!

Take this trip down memory lane, for example:

Root x Shaw: Hair. Hair. Hair in every shot, from every angle. This had to feed us for literal months and kind of turned out to be the best we got AND WE CANNOT SEE ROOT'S FACE AT ALL.

So not only have Batwoman, Wildmoore, and Camrus given us a longer, hotter, funnier, Blacker, and overall better sex scene than anyone else, they made sure to (a) move Sophie's hair out of the way in a v sexy manner, (b) frame them perfectly, (c) have Ryan turn towards the camera, (d) LIGHT THEM THE WAY BLACK WOMEN SHOULD BE LIT, (e) use their fucking lips. We can see their full faces, hot as shit.

They're not trying to hide that this is a kiss, not trying to appease homophobes. They are not prioritizing straight, homophobic, racist viewers over those who want to see this kiss. They filmed this for people who are into this ship, or could be into it, or think it's fucking hot.

They actually filmed this kiss, and this entire scene, like it's something desirable and worth watching. Like Black queer love is worth lighting, filming, showing, and revering.

I'm sure there are a million more examples of badly shot wlw kisses (and please reblob with them, they make me laugh), but this Wildmoore scene...holy shit, my dudes. Game changer.

My unfiltered thoughts on the newest episode of the Sex and The city reboot:

I just watched last Thursday’s episode.

…..and just like that, I have officially HAD IT with reboots.

Am I supposed to feel something for Miranda and Che Diaz?

No, really. I’m lost as to how I’m supposed to feel.

Steve called her up because he wanted her to look at the moon with him. He taught her how important it is to press pause and eat a slice of pizza. He taught her to appreciate the little things in life. She continually built her walls higher and higher and he continued to knock them down until she finally realized he was different. He was the one. Our favorite scooby doo loving, hoop shooting bar tender softened the heart of cold, corporate Miranda.

But now he’s a sad old man, because he has hearing aids. She doesn’t love him anymore because he likes to eat ice cream and watch tv with her on their couch every night. Apparently, that’s awful, and really just so not cool to do in a long-time, established relationship 🙄

Oh, But Che Diaz gave weed to her minor son, and then Cupid appeared with his little exposed butt and readied his aim.

What was the beautiful, defining moment that was supposed to make us fall head over heels for Miranda x Che Diaz? (and I say their full name because it’s like calling out a bratty kid for misbehaving because it just feels more effective lmaooo) an awkward kitchen encounter involving a stinky pinky, and Carrie being terribly neglected by her friend in a moment of passion.

They’re in LoVeEee. Because they got high. And they…..did the mentioned thing above, IN THE KITCHEN.

They hooked up a couple of times, with no dates or hanging out in between, and they are “in love” with each other. MEANWHILE, sex and the city had Miranda able to separate sex and love. What happened?? Who IS this woman? This isn’t Miranda Hobbs, this is Cynthia Nixon self projecting and HBO’s desperate attempt to stay relevant. They are literally overwriting a character to be trendy and it blows.

This fucking show, man.

….is that modern romance? Sex is great, but it is not a fucking replacement for a well developed, well written romance. Am I supposed to go “awww, omg, that’s so sweet?” I feel like I’m taking crazy pills because half of the internet is rejoicing, and I’m like, what the fuck is going on here?

Hobbies and Talents: Ches’s main hobbies are playing piano and archery (she forever misses her bow and arrow while she’s at school), as these are also the two things that are best at calming her down. She has an intense love for acting, so it’s not uncommon for her to be one of the first people to sign up for auditions, and she tends to sing a lot so musicals are truly her shit. It’s not uncommon to see her in the library, reading a book late a night.

However, a talent she doesn’t exactly own up to often is her talent for forgeries and lockpicking. While she doesn’t use these skills as they’re intended for often, she does tend to practice them a lot, so she’s not rusty for when they are actually useful.

Ches left Luxor due to a family emergency in October, it was a really hard decision (and it was a really hard decision to come back). She is just now coming back to school.

She got her tattoo while she was away from school, using a forged note of parental consent in New Jersey.

Growing up as an Elswood means two things, you have a lot of siblings and a lot of money. Her parents had decided to raise their children in Manhattan, New York, where they could keep a close eye on their multi-billion dollar conglomerate. Her mother, Julia, would take them on trips constantly too - when she wanted to get the children away from the hustle and bustle of the city they’d go to their vacation home upstate, or their private island, or even to visit their family in Paris. At that point in life, Ches was happy. She had a solid group of friends, she had the best friend she could ever imagine having in the form of her twin brother, she had a loving and warm family, and she had a parent who would tell her no.

When she thinks back to her life before the incident, it feels like a completely different story. A fairytale even, perfect and happy in every way compared to her life now. However, it wouldn’t last, after all, fairy tales didn’t exist and reality was a much crueler mistress. One could say Lin-Manuel Miranda described it best; “life doesn't discriminate between the sinners and the saints. It takes and it takes and it takes.”

Everything changed on her eighth birthday when her mother took her out shopping to get a present for twin brother Jonah at Palisades Mall. A man came up with a gun while they were in the parking lot and asked for all of their money. Julia Elswood compiled but she made one mistake, the simple utterance of “Cours, Ches” as she gave the man her purse.

Ches might have gotten out of the event alive, but not she was not unscathed. Julia Elswood was pronounced dead when medics finally arrived on the scene, her blood coating her daughter’s hands and clothing from Ches’s attempts to stop the bleeding. She might have survived the event without physical harm but she was never the same child she was before after that.

One day she had an intact family, the next day the Elswoods were in ruin. Her father completely shut himself out from the family, only coming out for birthdays and holidays. Her oldest brother stepped up as their parental figure, first starting out with homeschooling before he eventually dropped out to ensure his siblings were getting as much of his time as they possibly could. He tried his hardest to make the loss of their mother easier on the younger girls especially, given how young they were at the time. She helped him with the girls as much as she could (and overtime she slowly started filling the role as their second parent). Because of how busy the younger Elswood children kept him, sometimes Logan didn’t have the time to comfort Ches when she woke up in the middle of the night, haunted by their mother.

That was when Emmett stepped in. It wasn’t uncommon for him to sleep on her floor so he’d be there when she woke up terrified out of her mind, and he was there when she just eventually stopped sleeping like people tended to. Over time she realized that Jonah and her weren’t truly two peas in a pod the way they used to be, that Emmett was the only Elswood who truly got her. He wasn’t perfectly normal either, his thoughts and feelings were flawed like hers.

In a family that made her feel so broken at times, Emmett was a saving grace - a reminder she wasn’t alone.

Going to school in Carnifex was an easy decision when you felt so alone at home, at school she found a close group of people she loved and cared about - she felt less alone and less like her family were judging her, and when the feeling came up - she could always toss herself back into her schoolwork and pretend that maybe, just maybe, she was just a normal kid living a normal boring life. Family issues easily bred vulnerability though, and it was that vulnerability that was exploited not long before she was set to start Carnifex.

Long-distance relationships weren't’ supposed to be easy, but when she fell in love for the first time. At the time, she had thought she was as fucked up as she could ever be, that at this point she was just focused on healing the wounds her mother’s death had left in therapy and after that, everything would be fine. James Ruth quickly showed her how mistaken she had been, even now she doesn’t like thinking about everything he had done to her. She doesn’t discuss everything he had put her through in the time they were together nor does she have any intentions on truly discussing the worst of the abuse she endured while dating him and she was home - even in therapy. It did, however, have an effect on her, it made her terrified of truly falling in love with somebody again.  (Note: James is also a massive reason why she doesn't get along with her brother Jamie, the two Elswood siblings never recovered from Jamie sleeping with Ches’s boyfriend. It causes a good deal of tension in the Elswood home but Ches can’t just forgive him, her brother never even apologized for his actions, she wasn’t going to pretend he didn’t hurt her because her father wanted them to get along for his own sake. They were on the rocks before this and afterward, the tension just got a whole lot worse.)

Going back to Carnifex her sophomore year was a key factor in helping Ches get away from her relationship, and it became as much of a home for her than her actual home was the longer she attended. Sure, she still misses her younger sisters, she misses Emmett and Camellia, and she misses her friends in the city. She also dislikes just how restricted she truly is when it comes to Instagram and trying to grow her influence while she attends Carnifex. Networking had to wait until she was home and sometimes she questions why she decided boarding school was a good idea. And then Ches looks at her friends, at the education she’s receiving, and all the fond memories she’s developing. Carnifex, and now Luxor, was well worth the fear of missing out she feels. 

If you had asked her at the start of this school year, she would have told you nothing could have gotten her to leave school for any amount of time her senior year, she had spent the whole summer at Luxor (even after hearing about her baby niece, that meant a lot) - she finally settled in, she couldn’t imagine anything happening that would cause her to leave the academy. And then, on October 16th at two am in the morning, she got a phone call from Ella. Their oldest brother, Logan, had overdosed. While his drug addiction had never been a secret to the family, his relapse had been a surprise to Ches. Her brother had sworn up and down he was fine, that everything at home was okay. Going back to New York was a no brainer, her family needed her - and she needed them.

Logan, who’d been the closest thing to a parent she had since her mother died, almost died - she almost lost all the parental figures she ever knew. It was hard, getting adjusted back to New York City, she threw herself into her school work and did her best to fill the shoes Logan left open as he went through rehab, and then, adjusted back to being home. While she stayed in touch with the people she had at Luxor, she wouldn’t come back until her brother way okay - until she felt safe about leaving him with his daughter and their siblings without her as a backup. Coming back to school this time was really hard on her, the homesickness is worse than ever and she’s constantly trying to check in on her siblings (because mom!Ches is truly in full force and she’s trying to get it back down) but she’s glad to be back. She’s missed being at Luxor, a lot, so she’s glad to be back.

Il teorema delle contrazioni , o del punto fisso di Banach-Caccioppoli, garantisce che una qualsiasi contrazione definita su uno spazio metrico ammette almeno un punto fisso, così detto perché "la funzione non lo muove", ossia l'immagine mediante T coincide con il punto stesso.

Sempre a proposito della mappa dell’Impero, Odifreddi afferma che “Una delle ossessioni di Borges, apparentata all'autoriferimento e apparentemente paradossale, è la cosiddetta mappa di Royce, che egli ha citato almeno tre volte”. In effetti Borges cita esplicitamente il paradosso del filosofo idealista americano Josiah Royce in un passo del saggio Magie parziali del “Don Chisciotte”, contenuto in Altre inquisizioni (Feltrinelli, 1963, ma l’originale è del 1960):

“Le invenzioni della filosofia non sono meno fantastiche di quelle dell’arte: Josiah Royce, nel primo volume dell’opera The world and the individual (1899), ha formulato la seguente: ‘Immaginiamo che una porzione del suolo d'Inghilterra sia stata livellata perfettamente, e che in essa un cartografo tracci una mappa d’Inghilterra. L’opera è perfetta. Non c’è particolare del suolo d’Inghilterra, per minimo che sia, che non sia registrato nella mappa; tutto ha lì la sua corrispondenza. La mappa, in tal caso, deve contenere una mappa della mappa, che deve contenere una mappa della mappa della mappa, e così all'infinito’.”

Un altro riferimento alla Mappa dell’Impero compare nelle Cronache di Bustos Domecq (Einaudi, 1975), scritto assieme a Adolfo Bioy Casares. Nel capitolo Naturalismo d’oggi si dice che il critico Hilario Lambin Formento voleva stilare una mappa della Divina Commedia e fini per ripubblicare le tre cantiche esattamente come le aveva scritte Dante. Tale impresa “descrittivista” sarebbe stata ispirata proprio dalla lettura del passo di Viaggi di uomini prudenti di Suárez Miranda in cui si parla della mappa dell’impero!

“Dapprima, si accontentò di pubblicare, in piccoli e manchevoli clichés, gli schemi dei gironi infernali, della torre del Purgatorio e dei cieli concentrici, che adornano la pregiata edizione di Dino Provenzal. La sua natura esigente non si considerò, tuttavia, soddisfatta. Il poema dantesco gli sfuggiva! Una seconda illuminazione, alla quale presto sarebbe seguita una laboriosa e lunga pazienza, lo sottrasse a quella passeggera stasi. Il 23 febbraio del 1931 intuì che la descrizione del poema, per essere perfetta, doveva coincidere parola per parola con il poema, come la famosa mappa coincideva punto per punto con l’Impero. Eliminò, dopo mature riflessioni, la prefazione, le note, l’indice e il nome e recapito dell’editore, e dette alle stampe l’opera di Dante”.

Odifreddi nota il fatto che lo stesso Borges sembra indicare in Royce la fonte dei suoi riferimenti alla mappa in scala 1:1. C’è tuttavia un precedente ancora più antico, che sembra strano sia sfuggito sia a Borges, sia a Odifreddi. È contenuto nel secondo volume di Sylvie e Bruno (Garzanti, 1978), l’ultimo romanzo di Lewis Carroll, pubblicato per la prima volta nel 1893, qualche anno prima della stampa del libro di Royce. Nel capitolo in cui il protagonista incontra l’eccentrico tedesco fatato Mein Herr, che lo intrattiene con un discorso pieno di considerazioni matematiche (e sul quale tornerò in un prossimo articolo) compare infatti una mappa in scala 1:1:

“Mein Herr sembrava così meravigliato che pensai bene di cambiare discorso. “Che cosa utile, una mappa tascabile!” Osservai.

“È un’altra delle cose che abbiamo imparato dal vostro paese,” disse Mein Herr; “stendere le mappe; ma noi siamo andati oltre. “Secondo lei quale sarebbe la massima scala utile per le mappe?”

“Cento su mille, un centimetro per chilometro.”

“Solo un centimetro!” Esclamò Mein Herr. “L’abbiamo fatto subito, poi siamo arrivati a dieci metri per chilometro. Poi abbiamo provato cento metri per chilometro. E finalmente abbiamo avuto l’idea grandiosa! Abbiamo realizzato una mappa del paese alla scala di un chilometro per un chilometro!”

“L’avete utilizzata?”

“Non è stata ancora dispiegata,” disse Mein Herr. “I contadini hanno fatto obiezione. Hanno detto che avrebbe coperto tutta la campagna e offuscato la luce del sole. Così adesso usiamo la campagna vera e propria come mappa di se stessa e vi assicuro che funziona ottimamente”.”

Sarebbe utile, a mio parere, investigare sull'ipotesi che Royce possa aver conosciuto l’opera finale dell’autore di Alice. Di sicuro sarebbe di notevole interesse anche conoscere come mai Borges, che conosceva bene i libri di Lewis Carroll, non ne faccia menzione.

Personality: Darcy means well but she can often appear a little bitchy? Mainly because she’s got no reason to hide her opinions. She’s a little bit like her Aunt Caroline and has the same lack of filter as her dad does. She’s usually gossiping about other peoples lives to distract people from talking about her own. Mainly because her dad couldn’t be more embarrassing to this reputation she builds for herself. She appears polished but she’s far from it. He likes to prove to himself that he can do thinks many people underestimate him for. It’s pretty humorous and rewarding proving people wrong about their assumptions. He’s slightly guarded but he’s extremely kind of those around him. 

Special Talents: Calling his Aunt Sofia to get him to relax and to remind him to take better care of himself because having Chester and Will as his parents can become a lil stressful for multiple reasons.

Personal Head canon: As much as he loves his fathers, LJ has no interest in being be involved in hunting or magic. They’re a part of who they are but it’s not a part of him, at least in his mind. He doesn’t care for it and he’s too pure to be corrupted by the life of hunting or to be tempted by too much power by being a warlock. He’s not having it. He always knew he was named after his uncle who was taken from his dad and his aunt’s so soon, but he couldn’t have been more honored to carry it. He likes to think his uncle LJ is watching out for him. He feels constant pressure to even worthy of his name.

A Thread Through Time Masterlist

Hello! Welcome to the Masterlist for my new Fan Fiction Series! This is a collection of reader insert one shot stories of most of Oscar Isaac's characters. Note that there are a few I will not write stories for, like at all because of age or other factors that make me uncomfortable. This Masterlist will contain a list of characters that I will update as/if I find more.

I will NOT be writing a chapter about Oscar himself. He is married with two children. I do not feel comfortable with that. Plus this story is about his characters not him. All chapters depend on me knowing the character and the short film/movie/show they are from. If I haven’t watched the short film/movie/show they are from, I can’t write about them, so some characters will have to wait until I see their short film/movie/show. 

Apocalypse is included in this. He will have a chapter all his own.

These stories will be in some sort of order, its just not going to be timeline order that'd be too difficult as Oscar could go and make a movie about something that takes place in 1900 and I've already written chapters earlier in that time period, and I wouldn't want to re-arrange everything just to fit it in. So these will more or less just be snapshots through time and space of the all over "thread through time" that connects Reader and the characters love story. All of these chapters/one shots will contain smut or at least smutty themes. They are all going to be M/F for the most part unless there is a reason to change that, like adding a partner that may be there in canon. I.E. Lady Jessica from Dune. Reader is always female, as I am female. I'll try to use as general terms as much as possible, but I am female and identify as female and I write from my own perspective. Write what you know, right? (The answer to this should always be yes.) All of the characters will be written the way I interpret them from their various shows. If you don't like that, then don't read it. I don't want to be persecuted because you found character [x] to be characterized one way and I didn't write him your way. If you want your character written your way, go and find those fics or write them yourself.   This fic is inspired by pathetic_fallacy’s one shot collection for Lin-Manuel Miranda entitled “It’s Always Been You" on Ao3.

Un buon modo di iniziare l'anno è vedere un film d'animazione colorato e pieno di musica. Per questo abbiamo ordinato dei panzerotti, effettuato l'accesso a Disney+ e fatto partire Encanto, il 60º lungometraggio animato degli studi Disney.

Encanto è la storia della famiglia Madrigal, un gruppo di persone che non sfugurerebbero tra gli X-Men: mutaforma, super forza, controllo sulle piante, preveggenza (davvero, Prof. Xavier, io un viaggio in Colombia me lo farei)... Talenti che tutti hanno guadagnato grazie alla magia che scorre ed anima la loro casa (o Casita). Talenti che tutti utilizzano per il bene della comunità, sotto la guida della loro nonna, Abuela in lingua spagnola. Tutti tranne Mirabel che si fa in quattro per colmare questa sua mancanza. Qualcosa però inizia a scricchiolare, mettendo a rischio tutto ciò che hanno e sarà proprio la senza poteri di famiglia ad indagare, forse l'unica che può risolvere la situazione. O peggiorarla.

Encanto è un film Disney che segue tutti i passi dei classici, accompagnando tutto con ottime musiche (Lin-Manuel Miranda ormai è una macchina da guerra), balletti divertenti supportati da animazioni davvero spettacolari, una gioia per gli occhi. Ci sono momenti veramente divertenti, buoni sentimenti per tutta la famiglia. È un film davvero piacevole! Un capolavoro? Sotto il comparto audio-video sicuramente!

E la trama?

Beh, diciamo che Encanto non vuole essere una profonda e complessa analisi della psiche umana o simili. Il film ha uno scopo molto semplice: intrattenere con una storia lineare, divertente e positiva. Ho letto commenti di persone che lo hanno bocciato accusandolo di uno sviluppo frettoloso e poco approfondito nel trattare i personaggi. Sinceramente non ho avuto questo senso di urgenza che ho trovato in altri film. Forse perché non mi aspettavo il classico cazzotto sentimentale allo stomaco dei film Pixar (ricordate, questo è un film dei Disney Animation Studios, gli stessi di Frozen, Rapunzel, Oceania) o perché volevo solo vedere il film, senza spirito critico ma solo per il piacere di guardarlo. Credo anche che il film avesse un suo scopo semplice, senza entrare nel merito di tutto e tutti i membri della famiglia (anche perché sarebbe durato 3 ore invece di 1 ora e qualcosa). Questo fa di Encanto un film che non si perde in sciocchezze ma segue la sua strada, in modo semplice e lineare, divertendo ed intrattenendo.

Quindi guardatelo, vi divertirà e farà ridere. Potrebbe persino commuovervi. Ve lo consiglio.

LIPU BENEVENTO, AL VIA LE INIZIATIVE AUTUNNALI NELL’OASI DEL FIUME CALORE

Dopo molteplici attività svolte in estate dagli attivisti della Sezione Lipu di Benevento nell'Oasi di protezione “Zone Umide Beneventane”, che protegge 17 km del fiume Calore comprese 4 sue importanti confluenze, ecco che sono iniziate le attività autunnali per la valorizzazione ecocompatibile di questo territorio fluviale.

Un ottimo successo ha avuto l'Eurobirdwatch, promosso da BirdLife International di cui la Lipu è il partner italiano, che si è svolto nel primo fine settimana di ottobre. Un'iniziativa che a Benevento, oltre agli appassionati di birdwatching, si è voluta aprire alle famiglie coinvolgendo adulti e bambini i quali hanno grandemente apprezzato l'osservazione degli uccelli, la passeggiata nella natura e le letture a tema naturalistico, infatti oltre alla Lipu nell'organizzazione della giornata erano coinvolti i volontari del gruppo di Benevento del Programma socio-sanitario nazionale “Nati per Leggere”, rappresentati per questo evento da Claudia Lamparelli e Adriano Tretola, e “Mamme Rana”. L'osservazione degli uccelli acquatici, tra cui sono stati avvistati tre specie di aironi, ossia l'airone cenerino, l'airone bianco maggiore e la garzetta, oltre a diversi esemplari di gallinella d'acqua, cormorano, piro piro piccolo e germano, si è svolta principalmente al Ponte Leproso con la partecipazione anche del Comitato di quartiere Santa Clementina grazie alla presenza del presidente, Claudio Rocco, e di altri soci del Comitato. In seguito i partecipanti hanno raggiunto a piedi la penisola fluviale di Cellarulo, dove sono stati percorsi due sentieri preparati dai volontari della Lipu – presenti tra loro in questa circostanza erano Antonio Saccone, Marialuisa Pica, Jessyca Izzo, Giovanni Fasulo e Marcello Stefanucci –, uno che ha condotto gli escursionisti alla confluenza del Sabato nel Calore e un altro che, attraversando un canneto prima di canna palustre poi di canna domestica, li ha portati sulle rive del Calore ad ammirare il Ponte Fratto, cioè i resti di un ponte romano sul quale circa duemila anni fa transitava la Via Latina.

Inoltre in questo periodo sono riprese le attività con le scuole tra cui spicca la collaborazione con il Liceo Scientifico “Galilei” dell'I.I.S. “Galilei – Vetrone” nell'ambito delle attività dei Percorsi per le Competenze Trasversali e per l'Orientamento (PCTO), ex Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro. Il progetto del Liceo consiste nello studio dei processi fitodepurativi dei corsi d'acqua dei fiumi Sabato e Calore, infatti già è stata effettuata un'uscita con due classi guidate delle docenti di biologia Maria Concetta Nicoletti, che è anche la referente del PTCO, e Rosa Cammarota, accompagnate da tre attivisti della Lipu beneventana alla confluenza Sabato-Calore nel cuore dell'Oasi Lipu “Zone Umide Beneventane”. Durante l'escursione con particolare impegno da parte della Lipu sono stati prelevati campioni di acqua dai due fiumi per essere analizzati nei laboratori dell'istituto e della società IAN CHEM, che era presente con il biochimico Daniele Miranda, esemplari di una pianta idrofila, la lenticchia d'acqua, e microrganismi bentonici per studiare lo stato di salute del fiume. Questo progetto del Liceo Scientifico “Galilei” si inserisce nell'ambito del più ampio Progetto “Adotta un fiume”, il cui coordinatore è il dott. Paolo Palummo e che coinvolge, oltre alla Lipu, anche altre associazioni quali il Rotary Club di Benevento, il Rotary Community Corps di Benevento, il Rotaract, l'Interact, il Wwf Sannio, il CAI – Sez. di Benevento, Plastic Free, Verehia, Io x Benevento, proponendosi di tutelare e valorizzare il fiume Sabato.

Queste attività fanno seguito ad altre svolte, nei mesi da giugno a settembre, sempre dai volontari della Sezione Lipu di Benevento nell'Oasi “Zone Umide Beneventane” per la sua promozione e valorizzazione ecocompatibile. In particolare se ne ricordano alcune tra cui la visita all'Oasi, il 6 giugno, del gruppo scout dei lupetti della CNGEI di Benevento guidati dai “vecchi lupi” Caterina Riccardi, Tiziana Mucci e Federica Rossi.

Domenica 13 giugno si è tenuta invece la Festa delle Oasi e Riserve Lipu presso il Centro Visite dell'Oasi “Zone Umide Beneventane”, ubicato in c.da Sant'Angelo a Piesco, che ha visto anche lo svolgimento di un'escursione lungo un sentiero, riaperto dai volontari della Lipu, il quale dalla pista ciclopedonale “Paesaggi sanniti” conduce sulle rive del fiume Calore.

In seguito il 30 giugno 25 alunni della scuola secondaria di primo grado del Convitto Nazionale “P. Giannone” di Benevento, guidati dalle docenti Rossana Poppa e Mirella Pallotta, sono giunti al Centro Visite dell'Oasi Lipu e hanno visitato una parte dell'Oasi nell'ambito del PON “La città comunità educante”.

Il 10 agosto si è tenuta la “Notte delle Stelle” presso il Centro Visite dell'Oasi Lipu che ha visto una nutrita partecipazione di persone le quali hanno attentamente ascoltato le spiegazioni tramite videoproiezione e le illustrazioni della volta celeste grazie ad un potente telescopio dell'astronomo Antonio Pepe.

Anche i soci dell'Uselte-Auser, condotti dalla presidente prof.ssa Adriana Pedicini, hanno visitato il 18 settembre l'Oasi Lipu lungo il fiume Calore facendo un'escursione e sostando presso il Centro Visite dell'Oasi in c.da Sant'Angelo a Piesco.

Il 19 settembre vi è stata infine una passeggiata in bicicletta, organizzata sempre dalla Lipu in collaborazione con il gruppo beneventano della Federazione Italiana Ambiente e Bicicletta (Fiab), abbinando l'attività fisica al birdwatching svolto dai ponti cittadini sul fiume Sabato sino a raggiungere la penisola di Cellarulo.

Tra questi eventi si sono succedute una serie di visite guidate dai volontari della Lipu che hanno portato a conoscere l'Oasi Lipu di Benevento ad appassionati di natura e ad altri cittadini che volevano semplicemente godere del paesaggio e della tranquillità dei luoghi.
