Alright, here we are frens, so much to say definitely no time to say it, so I'll just go with thanking @dualrainbow for letting me do this yet again even tho I'm pretty sure adding this fic to their event and/or being associated with it in any way probably puts them on a government watch list somewhere.

hiya idk if you’re still taking requests but could you do some hcs of ash and a female operator sparring but ash has feelings for her? So maybe something like ash trying to pin her and praising the female op to make her flustered and distracted? Thanks!

As I HC Ash, feelings or not, she's quite competitive, so the sparring would be friendly but intense, and possibly full of teasing. Ash doesn't strike me as someone prone to praising people often, but unless her partner was a disaster (and that wouldn't happen with another operator), afterwards she'd say a quiet but honest "well done" or "good job/that was good". I doubt that's enough to fluster anyone, but if her partner knows Ash enough, she'd know any praise from her is high praise!

I think it'd be up to Ash's sparring partner to take it a notch further, like inviting her for a drink, cause Ash is a bit of a workaholic in my mind. And another sure sign of Ash's interest and affection for her would be Ash accepting to postpone work to go have a drink with her.

Ash is an awkward flirt, but she tries! Also, if her chosen partner is a massive flirt, Ash takes in it with a smile and will try her best to quip-flirt back (again, she really enjoys being competitive, imo).
