the lyrics remind him how sometimes he silently carries too many emotions without revealing them to anyone when he can't take it anymore. the music makes him cope a little more with his emotions when he feels he will collapse, then he will think about turning to his brother to be able to talk.

Bertholdt Hoover

when he listens to this song, he longs for his childhood and his late father whom he remembers with much love and affection. he misses him, and remembers how much he used to listen to that song.

he feels that it's still with him every time he decides to play it on his cellphone.

Reiner Braun

we know he's a soft and gentle teddy bear, even if his appearance seems intimidating. he really likes the lyrics where the protagonist goes on a journey to value herself instead of depending on a person who doesn't value her. listen to this song several times, even if porco teases him about it.

the truth is that I see Colt singing at the top of his lungs this song when he's drunk, because he's a quiet guy when is sober, but when he's drunk, he externalizes all his emotions and energy singing until his voice is gone all the songs that are put in the player.

Analisi del capitolo 104 di Attack on Titan

Quante cose possono succedere in un capitolo senza riuscire a dare la benchè minima risposta ai dubbi del mese scorso? Può un'assenza pesare molto più di una presenza? Credevo che in questo capitolo la storia avrebbe preso una china ripida, magari con una serie di decisioni avventate in un paio di situazioni critiche.

Ma a questo punto andiamo di SPOILER e chi li teme, si fermi QUI perchè stavolta ne dirò di tutti i colori *Q*

Dunque. Credevo che le prime pagine mi avrebbero mostrato l'impasse fra Falco e Jean: da una parte il piccolo mini-warrior che vuol solo fermare questa inutile carneficina, vuole salvare Pieck. Dall'altra Jean che aveva giurato, proprio dopo aver esitato davanti a Pieck, che non si sarebbe fatto più fermare da niente e nessuno. Mi sono detta: se Jean non spara, sparerà Flocke, il piccolo Falco morirà, probabilmente morirà anche Pieck e qui le cose precipiteranno, Gabi sparerà in fronte a Jean, insomma, un finale Shakespeariano.

Invece Isayama, come sempre, ci sorprende. Perchè Jean spara davvero. Certo, come fa fuoco e viene investito dal getto di vapore ad alta pressione che Pieck riesce a sparargli addosso, si domanda se sia stato quello a disturbare la sua mira o se non abbia fallito volontariamente. Jean che uccide un bambino? Mai nella vita. Ma facciamo un passo indietro. L'inizio del numero è per Armin che, è proprio il caso di dirlo, giganteggia nella baia di Marley. Finalmente vediamo il suo Colossal, mastodontico ma lievemente più skinny di quello di Bertholdt. Notiamo infatti come mantenga alcune caratteristiche del Mindless di Armin come l'assenza del naso e la gabbia toracica particolarmente sporgente e pronunciata. 

Il Colossal di Armin ha un volto molto malinconico e, a mio parere, bellissimo: è un bellissimo gigante, Isayama non ci ha dato un banale scheletrone ciondolante dallo sguardo infelice ma un meraviglioso colossal e ha dato ad Armin come PRIMA battuta per il suo ritorno in scena, un pensiero per Bertholdt. E' triste vederlo in piedi nella baia proprio come è stato solo quattro anni prima, ma dall'altra parte del mare, sperando con la sua promessa mantenuta, di aver portato un po' di sollievo nel cuore tormentato del suo amico che a quel punto è unicamente velato dalla furia. Contempla dall'alto dei suoi (saranno sessanta metri anche in questo caso? Sembra davvero altissimo!) la distruzione della flotta, le navi accartocciate, le persone maciullate e si domanda retoricamente rivolgendosi in prima persona a Bertholdt "E' questo a cui devi aver assistito, Bertholdt?". Non per niente lo chiamano "God of Destruction".

Passiamo la palla agli Scout vs Pieck. La mia warrior preferita è messa MALISSIMO ma nonostante questo è riuscita con un ultimo colpo di genio a distrarre Jean e a permettere a Falco e Gabi (che ha già il fucile in spalla, giusto per capire che soldatina d'acciaio sia la piccola Braun) di trarla in salvo, coperti dal fuoco amico di Magath (premio Best Daddy dell'anno) e dei suoi pochi soldati superstiti.

Le forze di Marley stanno ancora cercando di riprendersi da questo assalto e Galliard, che nel numero scorso avevamo lasciato nel suo slancio eroico contro Mikasa, nell'atto di vendicare la morte di Bertholdt, se ne sta rendendo conto. Pieck è caduta e lì, alle spalle di Eren, c'è il corpo SENZA VITA del Beast Titan (sicuro Zeke, vincitore del Razzie Awards per il Peggior Attore Protagonista!). Ma Galliard non è sveglio come noi e ci crede, si ricorda dei suoi due amici in questa singola immagine di flashback e io ho immaginato questo deluso giovane Galliard che è rimasto a casa mentre suo fratello è partito per il fronte assieme a quella pappamoscia di Braun. Lui è rimasto a casa a far la calza con la nerd e il Warchief che parla solo per enigmi, per altro senza avere nemmeno un gigante. Insomma, che gli restava se non reggere il thermos e portare i panini? Ma voleva bene ai suoi amici e vederli a terra lo fa andare letteralmente in berserk. Ora a parer mio, senza l'aiuto di due Ackerman, Eren le avrebbe prese e pure solide. Galliard è veloce, motivato, ha zanne e artigli così potenti da poter scalfire la crisalide di Lady Teiber, cosa che Eren nota immediatamente, usando la poverina come scudo. Mentre Lady Teiber realizza che forse il vento del cambiamento stia iniziando a girare da una parte drammaticamente sbagliata, i piccoli Warrior stanno assistendo Pieck che non sembra riuscir a tener testa con i suoi poteri rigenerativi all'entità delle ferite che ha subito. Sembra stia morendo anche se ci auguriamo davvero possa guarire (la mia Pieck!). Gabi vuole evidentemente sapere che fine abbia fatto Reiner e perchè, in nome di tutti i santi, non sia uscito per piantare Jaeger a terra come un cipollotto. Falco però che sa tanto, troppo, pensa solo che Reiner debba essere lasciato in pace in questo momento. Ma Gabi non può accettare questa non-spiegazione e senza rendersene conto sputa in faccia a Falco che i loro due amici, Udo e Zophia, sono morti. Uccisi proprio da Eren Jaeger. E Falco si prende questa secchiata gelida e non reagisce, la incassa, la butta giù come una medicina tanto, troppo amara.

Finalmente però l'operazione di estrazione del gruppo della 104esima ha inizio e vediamo comparire un fantastico dirigibile che sembra un filino troppo moderno per le forze di Paradis. Stai a vedere che... E infatti a guidarlo c'è l'alter ego di John Boyega (che non vedeva l'ora di entrare in questo manga, lui è un grande fan di Attack on Titan, chissà quant'è contento!), Olangobo che per aspetto, incarnato e sonorità del nome ricorda molto l'Ambasciatore Ogweno: la mia teoria è che Paradis si sia appoggiata ad una potenza straniera per un ottimo supporto sul campo. La domanda però sarebbe: chi mai si alleerebbe con i diavoli eldian senza un intermediare davvero efficace? Non ne ho idea, ma credo che quell'intermediario possa essere Kyomi Azumabito che si è defilata prima dell'inizio della carneficina. Con lui c'è Armin, maturo e saggio ma con un modo di riflettere su quel recupero abbastanza fumoso, tanto da dire ad Hanji (versione Capitan Harlock, meravigliosa): "Se non riusciamo ad avere tutti a bordo su questa nave, non avremo comunque un futuro". Cosa significa? Evidentemente c'è ancora qualcosa che non sappiamo o forse Armin si sta concedendo un pensiero molto più elevato e distante (cosa di cui dubito).

Il povero Galliard che non è riuscito ancora a fare a pezzi Eren, si accorge del dirigibile e decide di tirare giù tutta la baracca, peccando forse ancora una volta di grande ingenuità. Mikasa lo fa a pezzi ed il resto lo fa Eren che lo trasforma da Gigante Ganascia in Gigante Apriscatole, regalandoci forse una delle morti più brutali dell'intera serie: Lady Teiber viene stritolata dentro la sua crisalide dalle solide mascelle del Jaw, spinte con forza dalle mani di Galliard. Galliard che non aveva fatto altro che lagnarsi dei Teiber di sicuro non avrebbe mai voluto essere costretto a compiere un'esecuzione del genere visto che, soprattutto, quel che resta di Lady Teiber viene inghiottito da Eren che così ci mostrerà se i poteri dei giganti si sommano, si possono usare uno dopo l'altro o se, semplicemente, stanno lì di background. Sembrava che Eren volesse mangiarsi il War Hammer Titan dall'inizio: forse QUALCUNO (Zeke *cof cof*) gli ha detto di farlo per poter prendere le preziose memorie dell'antica famiglia? Forse con i poteri del War Hammer potrà fracassare anche la crisalide di Annie (ma, Eren, per l'amor del cielo, più piano la prossima volta :v)?

Eren non si accontenta e con l'espressione da passivo-aggressivo a cui oramai ci ha abituato, decide di mangiarsi anche Galliard. Questo sotto gli occhi di Gabi e Falco che vedono i loro eroi cadere uno dopo l'altro, fatti a pezzi, divorati.

Qui ha inizio una delle scene secondo me più importanti del capitolo. I bambini iniziano ad invocare Reiner che è lì sotto, da qualche parte. A loro non resta nessun altro in cui riporre la loro fiducia, hanno bisogno di un eroe che salvi Galliard, l'ultimo Warrior rimasto, l'ultimo difensore oramai abbattuto. E Reiner, anche se praticamente incosciente, li ascolta. Ed emerge FINALMENTE dalla terra e quando ho visto il design del suo gigante mi sono detta "Oh BEH, magnifico!" (no, sono stata più sguaiata, credo di aver emesso solo dei versi a caso).

Qualcuno si è detto stranito dall'aspetto dell'Armored senza armatura perchè sotto la corazza dovrebbe avere solo fasce muscolari. Secondo me però, da quel che si vede del suo corpo, l'Armored è in grado di far crescere la sua stessa pelle in questi strati chitinosi, trasformandola in un'armatura. Quando non lo fa, in sostanza è un Reiner ma alto quindici metri. Quando l'Armored emerge dalla piazza lo fa unicamente guidato dal suo unico scopo: proteggere. E' l'unico momento in cui l'espressione di Eren cambia, sembra sorpreso e subito lo attacca per liberarsi di lui: il tempo per gli scout è finito, Eren è senza forze, bisogna andarsene e in fretta. Così Eren si ritrova privato del corpo esanime del Jaw che Reiner gli ha strappato dalle mani prima di essere abbattuto ed enigmaticamente riferisce a Mikasa che "anche stavolta non potremo ucciderlo". Non sembra però essere troppo rammaricato dalla cosa, non sembra smaniare di sete di vendetta come ha sempre fatto. L'ultimo sguardo di Eren sul campo di battaglia è molto, molto triste. E non credo lo sia per non aver ucciso Reiner, tant'è che gli promette "ci incontreremo ancora".

Gli Scout sono in ritirata ma se questo può decisamente bastare per Falco, non è sufficiente per Gabi che armata del suo fido fucile, decide di uscire per uccidere Eren. Anzi, per ucciderli tutti. Ricordandoci giusto qualcuno, un centinaio di numeri fa.

Le ultime pagine ci mostrano gli Scout pronti a risalire sul dirigibile e Jean, come già Hanji prima di lui sembra voler ricordare la fragilità del mezzo che stanno usando. Qualcuno si ricorda la tragedia dell'Hindenburg che segnò praticamente la fine dell'epoca dei dirigibili? Ecco.

Curioso per altro che l'unico pericolo mortale per questo mezzo sarebbe stato Zeke con i suoi micidiali proiettili ma, guarda caso, Zeke è caduto come un sacco di patate. E Levi dov'è finito?

Torniamo però un passo indietro alla bellissima scena in cui Reiner viene "richiamato" da Gabi. Il parallelo a cui ho pensato subito è stato quello con Eren in una scena che non riuscivo a collocare bene. Mi ricordavo di lui, piccolo, nella cucina di casa Jaeger, assieme a mamma, papà e Mikasa. Qualcuno lo disturbava dal suo sonno, lui voleva solo dormire eppure c'era una voce che lo chiamava, quella di Armin. Questa scena non è un vero ricordo ma una sorta di "sogno lucido" in cui Eren era sprofondato dopo essersi trasformato la prima volta (capitoli 13 e 14). Nel suo sogno la mamma e il papà erano vivi, lui viveva con loro e con Mikasa e tutto andava bene. Non fosse per Armin che, da fuori, gli urlava che aveva promesso di sterminare i giganti, di vendicare la morte di sua madre, di combattere, di svegliarsi. Eren si era rifugiato in questo mondo fittizio perchè era esausto e Reiner... non è anche lui allo stremo delle forze mentali, più che fisiche?

L'interrogativo finale è se gli Scout riusciranno a lasciare il campo di battaglia o se dovranno affrontare la rappresaglia Marlean: personalmente credo che la scena si sposterà nuovamente a Paradis e che, su quel dirigibile, ci troveremo anche Levi e Zeke.

Il prossimo numero, grazie alla Golden Week giapponese, uscirà prima, alla fine di Aprile. Quindi il panico, questo mese, sarà DOPPIO!

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒇*𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏

                                     Los felices dieciocho años 

Cuando vives bajo el seno de una familia que mira todos tus pasos, que controla tus llamadas telefónicas, que no puedes mover nada, a veces, ese sentimiento de rebeldía por querer hacer todo lo que un chico de casi dieciocho años desea hacer, toma más sobre ti de lo que puedes imaginar. La idea fue sencilla, se implantó como una pequeña semilla que se convirtió en realidad: una fiesta que todos recordarían, al menos ese fue su pensamiento, humilde desde su punto de vista. 

Tal vez cuando lo pensó con su prima de la misma edad, solo un par de días menor, se veía como algo de lo cual no preocuparse. 

                                       ¿Qué podría salir mal? 

Invitar a un par de amigos, a su novia, tomar un par de cervezas entre la permitida ilegalidad de sus cumpleaños (al ser los menores de la extensa familia que tenían), poner un poco de música ruidosa hasta las once de la noche a causa del estúpido vecino de enfrente y su bebé, suponía que no sería un mayor problema. Hasta que la invitación corrió la voz. Cuando una persona conoce a todas las demás, solo faltan las ganas para hacer que el caos se descontrole. 

                                          "Estamos jodidos" 

Música, gritos, bailes, alcohol por mayor, pastillas de extraña procedencia y una casa irreconocible a esas alturas de la noche, es lo que ambos habían obtenido. 

Al menos a Galliard, en ese estado, no podía importarle menos, y con una sonrisa triunfadora, miraba desde lejos. Tal vez su idea muy en el interior no era realmente hacer una fiesta “sencilla” y la de su prima, tampoco. 

¿Estarías realmente seguro de arriesgar todo, por hacer la fiesta del siglo?

4.- Falda midi

Otro look que les fascina a las fashionistas y que también podemos hacer con lo que tenemos en el closet, es este que nos muestra Sara Escudero, una falda midi, un jersey de color y unos zapatos de tacón. Simplemente fenomenal.

9.- Blazer gris

Las americanas o blazers son la tendencia de este 2020, así que podemos lucir esta prenda en cualquier color que gustes, pero definitivamente una gris, te quedara muy bien a cualquier hora y combinada con cualquier color de outfit, como lo luce la influencer Xenia Adonts.

Mira pulled her legs to her chest, taking deep breaths to suppress the roiling in her stomach. It was hard to keep herself from glaring at the other Warriors. Knocking down one wall to infiltrate was one thing, but knocking down the second, just to remind Paradis of their presence, that they aren’t safe, to just kill, senselessly... well, the Jaw Titan was noticeably absent from the attack on Trost for a reason.

They had bigger issues than her wrestling match with morality though. No matter how much she wished nothing more than to quit here and now, she can’t. They have a mission - she has a mission, she can’t chicken out now. Calming the urge to punch her teammates, she spoke.

“Things are different.”

All four of the other Warriors looked at her, and she desperately tried not to fidget. “Eren… he’s thrown a massive kink into our plans. We have to keep an eye on him, a leash.” She licked her lips, gathering her thoughts. She had no idea where she was even taking this, but maybe she’d figure it out if she just laid all her thoughts out. “There are nine Titans, Marley has control of seven. The Founding Titan is one of the two we don’t have. The other…” Atti seemed to catch her drift, even if she herself didn’t know what it was. “The Attack Titan. It’s been assumed to have stayed among the Paradisians. We have no idea what it looks like.”

“So, Eren has the Attack Titan?” Bertholdt asks, his brows furrowing.

“Possibly,” Atti starts, “but…” “We don’t know for sure. We had nothing to go off of for the Founding Titan besides that it would be in the royal family.” Mira finishes, her thoughts getting clearer as she puzzled through them out loud. “Exactly, so Eren has to have the Attack one. I don’t see how this changes our goal.” Reiner grunts. “Not exactly.” Mira glances at Atti - Atticus Tybur, wielder of the Warhammer Titan. “False figureheads are common, all throughout history. Nothing’s guaranteed, so we shouldn’t put all our eggs in one basket. On the off chance Eren has the Founding instead-” “He’s an orphan from Shiganshina! He’s the furthest thing from royalty!” Reiner interrupts, throwing his hands up. Mira felt her eye twitch, her anger at Reiner bubbling up to the surface again. “Yes! That’s right! No one would suspect him!”

She takes a deep breath, clenching her fists. Shouting wouldn’t help anything, it would just get them caught. “Improbable doesn’t equal impossible. We can’t take the risk. Nevermind the fact that we need to know what they know, keep an eye on his growth. Hell, maybe if all goes right we can,” she swallows the bile rising in her throat. “We could maybe bring him over to our side.” She could feel the side eye Annie was pinning her with. She’d been silent the whole time, but she no doubt saw through Mira’s bullshit. There’s no way Eren would betray the Scouts or Paradis. She just didn’t want to risk him getting eaten, to claim the Attack or Founding Titan for Marley. She stayed silent though, and Mira thanked her with all her being.

“I didn’t make the top ten anyway.” Atti chimed in. “I can’t get into the Military Police.” The group was silent for a moment.

“Any chance I can just go into Garrison and-” “No.” Bertholdt pinned Atti with a look at his joke. “Bitch.” Atti muttered, but the levity helped, even for a moment. “Eren’s going into the Scouts. That’s where we need to go.” Mira cut in. Bertholdt sighed. “Yes, into the Regiment of elite Titan slayers. Great idea.” “I’m not jumping for joy either! And it’s not like you need to come. I’ll go with Atti, you three go to the capital. Look for the Coordinate. We can keep an eye on Eren and the rest of the Scouts.” “Mira, I’ll be fine-” Atti started, but Mira cut across him. “Bitch, you didn’t make it into the top ten. And like Big Bert said-” “Oi!” “-they’re trained to kill Titans. I’m not leaving you alone to go fuck off to Sina.” Reiner frowned. “Your Titan is best suited for stealth out of all of us. You and Annie should go with the Military Police. Me and Bertholdt can stay with him.” Mira gaped at him. “Like hell! Nevermind the Titans, what about the personas we’ve built? They’d never believe I left Atti for a cushy job in the walls!” “Well, whose fault is that?” “Oh, like you and Bert have been doing anything to hide how buddy-buddy you are!” “Oh, for fuck’s sake.”

Reiner and Mira stopped arguing at Annie’s exclamation, the former eyeing her warily. “I can find the Founding Titan myself. All of you go into the Scouts. I won’t need to transform if all goes well. If it doesn’t… then it’s too late and doesn’t matter anyway.”

No one was willing to argue with her. “Okay then. Let’s do this.”
