Joe Friday: “Just the facts, ma’am.”

There is a lesser-known newspaper in New Orleans (that has been around for nearly 100 years) called The Louisiana Weekly that refers to itself as “Your Multicultural News Medium.” 

In recent months they have debunked a couple of myths by, you know, actually looking at the data, and not just repeating sound bites or talking points. I thought some of you might find these interesting. In case you want to just know the bottom line: black dads are great dads -- by several measures more engaged with their kids than white or Latino fathers --  and they have academic chops -- there are twice as many in college as prison.
