What if…

Karao Saeki lived and found another victim after Tooru Mutsuki?

I know it doesn’t make any sense story wise, but shhh and lemme set the scene

Quick warning that this blurb will be written in his POV, so Saeki will misgender Mutsuki. Also, it’s been a while since I read the material so I’m sorry if it’s kinda off!

He somehow managed to survive Mutsuki’s attack and the following events in the manga to the end by doing what he knows best: being beyond scared and pathetic. He hid and avoided humans and other ghouls alike, only feeding on corpses left on the island. Now that humans and ghouls have come to terms with one another, he is slowly coming back to society, but still keeping himself secluded. After a few years of clearing the island of its remaining corpses, he returns to the mainland, but mostly wanders the countryside now.

It brings back some memories of his childhood, of his father, and of her. Sweet Minomi. Her shy smile. Her pretty eyes. Her torso.

Bruised and scarred from the abuse she endured from her family. Such a kind girl didn’t deserve such treatment nor fate.

Mutsuki, on the other hand.

His mind wandered. Drumming his fingers on the large boulder he has perched himself on, just like he did that fateful day.

They were the same. Not only in their childhoods, but also in cruelty. As much as he craved for Mutsuki once again, he had to begrudgingly accept the very real possibility that she most likely did not survive the events that transpired.

Saeki was hidden behind the tree line as he stared at the village beyond the forest. He has resorted to grave robbing to fill his stomach. Such a small village will immediately take notice of his activities if he made this place his hunting grounds. The density of the village will not hide him well like the city.

Footsteps approach his left as he watches a young woman with tan skin and braided hair emerge from the trail that cuts through the forest to the village. An unfamiliar face to say the least, it immediately snapped him away from his thoughts as he hunched his tall figure more to stay invisible to the human eye.

He watched the girl enter the village with a large basket strapped to her back, visiting almost every shop within sight.

She had a foreign look to herself. Saeki was used to seeing foreigners in Tokyo, but it was rare to spot one in the countryside. What were you doing all the way out here?

As expected, he noticed some villagers staring at you and wondering the same thing as well. You were an outsider. Even amongst the isolated village. You emerged from the forest, so you must live in it. How Saeki missed you this entire time, he doesn’t know.

What he does know is that he’s hungry. He hasn’t had fresh meat in a while. A visiting foreigner will be missed in the village.

Maybe he can also have a night of peace and quell his strange mind with a new lover. She wouldn’t be his preferred choice, but he needs to make do with what’s available.

What he didn’t predict was how much more unstable he has become since his nights with Mutsuki. Constant self-isolation, anxiety, fear, and pent up (sexual) frustration has done him in. So when he followed the foreigner to a secluded and small cabin in the middle of the forest, he got a bargain he couldn’t resist.

It was only her and an elderly woman (possibly her grandmother) who occupied the cabin. Upon your return, the old woman moved her hands around as she spoke to you from her futon and you did the same. Except no words can be heard from your mouth.

Saeki merely observed the interaction, ignoring the growling in his stomach in order to watch you.

He understood it now. You were sweet. You were caring for your grandmother and it seemed like you both held some kind of disability, though hers seemed more like it was related to old age than yours.

You had some physical resemblance to Mutsuki, but he was mostly drawn to your personality as it was like you were a reincarnated version of Minomi. A Minomi who had the opportunity to grow up.

You are so sweet.

He wondered if you would care for a lover like that as well. And as much as he would like to hear your voice speak to him, he’s beginning to appreciate your inability to talk. Then, you wouldn’t be able to insult him, shriek or call for help. You still have your eyes, but the way you look at your elder with adoration and love, he is willing to give you a chance to look at him the same. Your dark brown eyes looking at his. It makes his chest ache with yearning and lust.

He can’t ignore his manly urges. Would you still look at him while he makes you his? Or would you look away? Maybe even close your eyes while your toes curl in delight from the pleasure he’s giving you?

You are so, so sweet.

He can’t hold himself back any longer.

Jong Dae

I love how everyone’s favorite Lee Minho character is one of the sweet cute ones and mine has to be Jong Dae. I recently watched Gangnam Blues and I loved it ( beware that there are some explicit sex scenes before you try and watch it ) it’s quite long and in my opinion it’s worth it. I really really loved the whole thing and not just because Lee Minho is in it ...that’s just a bonus.

This for me in Lee Minho’s best ever character ever. I mean yes I’ve loved all the others before but I’m soft for this manly vicious side of his.

His comfort zone in the past few years and that being in his twenties has been sweet charming rich heart warming characters. Some might say he’s been playing it safe. I’d like to say he’s just doing the best of his craft. After having watched a butt load of crap I can safely say that there seems to be a trend to how they work. Everyone seems to be great at being a certain character and so goes on acting more or less of that character over the course of their character which is why we can usually always guess the cast of a horror movie or action movie , comedies and thrillers. It’s not a bad thing, at least I don’t think it is.

Plus let’s not forget general Choi young being a savage ass character and damn Yun Song and Heo Joon Jae all being memorable and evidently different.

It is common for people not to like a person because they simply don’t like the character the person he or she portrays and it doesn’t mean that they can’t act...I really don’t think it does. It’s just a preference.

However back to Gangnam blues and Lee Minho being absolutely transformed

Y’all not only the fight scenes in this movie but the cinematography too and the great story.

No one is saying that Lee Minho is the best actor ever in Korea or the world. I’m just saying that he is good at what he does, can’t say he hasn’t perfectly portrayed all previous characters( including I am Sam and Run Mackerel). And he’s damn lovable and drool worthy. So yeah I stan a 33 year old King!!!!!!!!!!
