You enter the bedroom and raise a brow, seeing Minkhyuk sprawled over it as if he landed face first and had to claim each corner with a limb. Shaking your head, you can’t help but smirk as you glance at your watch then back to him. It was after 9 in the morning, and you knew that he had things to do in a couple of hours. He would have to rush if you didn’t get him going. 

Pursing your lips, you stroll over to the bed and lean down to look at Minhyuk as he snores lightly. Lifting your hand, you push his hair from his forehead and speak softly at first, “Minhyuk...you need to get up. You have stuff to do.”

You wait for a moment and get no response, he doesn’t even stir. Huffing a bit, you sit on the bed, letting it bounce, trying to use that to wake him up. He mutters and kicks his legs, but doesn’t open his eyes. 

Your fingers move to his cheek, where you gently trace his cheekbone, before laying your hand flat, popping his skin once. Not enough to hurt him by any means, but just enough to make a sound. “Lee Minhyuk...if you don’t get up you’ll be late, and then you’ll be a brat....then I’ll get frustrated. It’ll turn into an entire thing.” 

Minhyuk’s lips turn up in a smirk as he turns to press his head into the pillow and whines. His arm moving to wrap around your waist, tugging you towards him, causing you to groan in slightly annoyance. “No...nope. Get up.” Turning in his grip, you lean to smack his ass through the sheet with a loud pop that causes him to hiss. 

“Ouch…” He laughs out the word and turns his head to look at you with one eye open. “You’re cute when you’re all bossy. Come back to bed.”

You shake your head and force yourself not to smile at his words. Instead, you purse your lips with a raised brow, keeping an authoritative tone to your voice, “Nope. It’s after 9. I don’t need Shownu, or your manager, showing up again if you are late. Get up and get in the shower.” 

Minhyuk pouts at you and tugs at your waist again with a whiny groan, “Listen...shh no. They won’t show up. You said it’s only 9. I don’t have to be anywhere until noon...and I showered yesterday. Even more time to cuddle...so,” He tugs once more with force, this time pulling the sheets with him, causing you to fall back with a huff. “Just come here, and let me wake up at my own speed.” 

You narrow your eyes as he gently tugs and maneuvers you in the bed, so that he can wrap his body around yours. His face pressed against yours, his nose moving your hair to nudge against your ear. “Don’t be so worried. It’ll all work out.”

You sigh and lean your head back trying to resist how cute he was being. His arms hold you closely as his leg drapes over yours. “Baby...come on.”

You close your eyes, feeling his lips press to your ear, then just below it on your neck. A softer sigh leaving your lips now, as you begin to lose some of your resolve. “You-- we don’t have time for this, Minhyuk.”

His hands had moved, one had already worked under the sweatshirt letting his nails graze at your soft skin over your ribs, as the other turned your face towards him so his lips could claim yours. Now, your words were muffled by his kisses, “Ten minutes, and then into the shower.” 

Minhyuk nods into the kiss and slides his fingers over your breast, rolling your nipple between them as he lets his leg part yours. “Mmhm. Ten minutes, and then we move this to the shower. That’ll make it worth it.” 

You groan, annoyed, but can’t help the smile on your lips as you give into the kiss. Your hands grip at his arm that is mostly under your shirt. Your nails leave tiny divots on his skin, as your hips roll to meet his thigh as he pushes it against you. His tongue dives into your mouth to glide alongs yours. You moan and nip at it gently, before pulling away to look up at him as he looks down at you smugly.

“You are impossible.”

He nods, accepting the title, before his mouth is back on yours, leaving you breathless.

Yay congrats on this anniversary! Could I request a reaction with Monsta X on how they'd react if you suddenly start a pillow fight with them? It's the only thing my mind can come up with atm 😅

Shownu:

He was being too lazy, and you knew that mot days the boy gave 110% but he promised a little more fun on his day off than just sleeping in your bed. You sat up and faced him, saying his name and poking his bare shoulder trying to get him to at least look at you and not have his face buried deep into the pillow. If it wasn't noon you would have let it slide, but you were hungry and he promised. You could see your whining was making him smile. He was testing to see how long it would take you to throw a fit, so you grabbed your pillow and hit is back once with it. He shot up, propping himself on his elbows and looked at you with wide eyes. Keeping a straight face he rose his eyebrows and asked if you seriously just hit him, and when you nodded he sat full up so quickly you didnt even have a chance to shield yourself from his own pillow flying at you.  “Hyunwoo!!” You exclaimed as he wrestled you to your stomach and hit your butt over and over with your own weapon. It would turn into a wrestling match where you ultimately ended up on your back pinned down by his body weight and with a small kiss hed pull you into his chest to cuddle for just a few more minutes before he finally got up and sat at the counter to watch you make him brunch.

Wonho:

Hed laugh and pretend you hurt his heart when you threw a pillow at him from across the living room. He was being obnoxious and whining about things he didnt need to, and knew he didnt need to but just wanted to annoy you. Hed act surprised you could do such a thing. Being quick to retaliate, crawling over the couch and hitting you once and making a surprised face like he didnt mean to hit you. You could would throw different pillows at each other, laughing and getting loud until one of his roommates yelled for the two of you to be quiet. Hed tell you this wasn't over, and hit you one more time just to show you he won that round. Hed laugh at your pouting and pull you into his chest, falling back so the two of you ended up entangled on the couch. Every once in a while hed hit you again with one of the pillows laying close enough on the floor for him to just quickly reach. 

Minkhyuk:

It would be perfectly playful and fun when the two of you started throwing pillows at one another. It would started with you just trying to make your bed but quickly escalated. The two of you would be jumping on the bed, throwing pillows, hitting each other, jumping off the bed, chasing each other. Hed hit you hard once by accident, which would probably end the fun short. Not becuase it hurt or anything since it was a pillow, but hed feel bad and not want things to get out of hand. Hed tried to hold back as you hit him again and gain pretending to be mad that he hit you hard, but he wouldnt be able to hold back after the third hit and hed tackle you to the bed, tickling you until you laugh so hard you start to cry. Hed let you know he won that round and with a soft kiss hed start cleaning the room for you since he still kinda felt bad for hitting you hard. 

Kihyun:

The first initial pillow throw caught him off guard, obviously. Hed ask you with raised eyebrows if you did that on purpose and when you nodded your head shyly hed lunge forward, grabbing a pillow and hitting you roughly (but at the same time gently) just so you knew that he would always win. He wouldnt be aggressive towards you because he loved you, but hed still make sure you knew hed always win. 

Hyungwon:

You would have caught him off guard and his initial reaction would be to tell you to stop, but after you crawled over the bed to where he was sitting and started to gently pushed him back and forth hed swing a pillow at you hitting your shoulder. It wouldnt turn into a full blown pillow fight, just you on your back and hyungwon over you fighting for the same pillow to fight each other with. when he finally got it out of your hands hed hit you once more before curling up with you and saying ‘okay lets nap now’

Jooheon:

When you threw the first pillow at him hed look at you in disbelief. When you threw the second pillow hed smile slightly but try to keep the ‘what the hell are you doing’ face before jumping over the chair and grabbing you, locking your arms to your side.  Hed ask you if you were serious right now and if you wanted to play this game and when you nodded cutely hed quickly jump away from you and prepare himself. The two of you would run around your room giggling and chasing one another while throwing pillows. It was stupid fun and kinda of flirty, so when he caught you by the waist the fight was over and quickly turned into a heated make out sesh cause like, why not. 

Changkyun:

Hed have a bad habit of making you squirm while your both in bed ready for sleep. Hed tickle your side here, run his cold feet up your leg there, just little things to make your body contract. He thought it was cute, which is why hed do it, but it usually stopped after one or two body curling cringes. Usually. Tonight he must have been in a really good mood since every few seconds he was doing something. When you had enough you quickly pulled your body from his and sat up to swing a leg over his lap to straddle his body. You started hitting him with the pillow, in-between each hit telling him to stop being obnoxious. Hed grab a pillow to try and block the soft blows of your pillow. Hed finally be able to pin you down, where hed promise you hed stop. But hed do it one last time before he hugged you tighter and started to fall asleep.

Peachtober | Day 16: Static

Shownu came into Hyungwon’s hotel room after a shower. He had just finished working out in the hotel’s gym. It was surprising that a hotel so small and so old even had a gym and running water, but the boys had to stay here for a few nights since a lot of stuff had just gone wrong really quickly and they were basically stranded.

Wonho went for a hike with Kihyun and Minkhyuk, and it sounded like they came back recently. For now, Hyungwon was laughing at the TV. Except there was nothing on. It was just fuzzy black and gray lines in an ever moving frenzy on the screen. Shownu asked what his fellow member was watching that was so funny, but there was no response. The long haired idol just pointed at the television and laughed incredibly hard.

“Ok...I’ll go hang with the others.” Shownu said since it was obvious that he didn’t want to be bothered with.

After closing the door, he spoke to himself, “That was weird.”

However, as he went from room to room, the others were the same. Laughing at static. He was scared but convinced himself they were just coping with all the stress they had been under lately. Maybe it was just him. Maybe he was the one breaking under the pressure from the public and the media to become the first “Next BTS” to dominate American charts and stages. Was he going insane?

The muscle baby went into his room and turned on his laptop because he was avoiding the televisions at all costs. So he opened it, typed in his password, and connected to the wifi. Then his screen started to act up. Glitches galore followed by a black screen that had two wimple words on it: Try Again?

So he did. He restarted and tried to watch Nextflix, Hulu, something to get his mind off of the stress. To remove himself from the situation. The same answer showed up and so Shownu hit the side of his laptop.

“No, no, no, NO!” and he couldn’t help but stare into the fuzz, the unknown mess of lines and dancing dots.

He didn’t react. He was...ok. Completely fine. The static and the noise did nothing to him as he closed the laptop. It was almost worse not knowing what was going on. Why were they all laughing at nothing? He wanted to enjoy it too. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. That was the saying, right?

Shownu wanted to join them. He ached to do it. What was wrong with him? Was he just--

Rehearsing Lines - Pt 1

Reader x I.M college au!

Summary -  college was never easy but when you meet a cute frat boy everything seems to be going right

It had been one of those days at college where a professor handed back a paper in which I tried my best on but he said it didn’t follow his rubric and it just pissed me off to no end. My friends in that class had been getting the same grades and we all just wanted to blow some steam off. I guess that’s how we ended up at this frat party which frat no idea all I knew was that we had gotten in for free the plus side of being a girl and there were drinks.  Right before we went out we had a few drinks which also meant that one of my friends had managed to chug a bottle of wine before the rest of us could get our hands on it. Fair to say she was pretty buzzed by the time we got to the party and was ready for more to drink. When we went out I was usually the one who made sure everyone was okay and alive. Every now and then I would drink as well and this was one of those nights.

   Walking up to the house I was greeted with the sight of Wonho a kid that I had psychology class with. We worked on a couple projects together and I considered him a friend. He was managing the door and charging guys as they came in probably because he was buff and no one would mess with him trying to get in. I had lost count of how many drunken fights I had seen when we were out and Wonho or Shownu were always there to stop them before they got out of hand.  

I waved as we walked past into the house “Long time no see girls. Head on down to the basement and you can find everything there!” he said excitedly. I laughed walking in already in the front room there were people chilling on sofas with the typical red cups in their hands. A few of my friends broke off to go say hi to others while the rest of us headed down into the dark basement.

   Once down there we had gotten our drinks and found a good spot for us to hang out while dancing to some music. It was nice to take a break and just let everything go. My friends were now pretty drunk and everything they said was making me laugh nonstop. At one point my best friend was shouting “WHO WANTS TO FUCK MY FRIEND!” as she pointed wildly at me. Dying of laughter, I noticed people glancing at us with weird looks so I quickly quieted her down.

Not too long after that, I made direct eye contact with a guy across the room. I think his name was Changkyun I had seen him on campus with Wonho quite a bit so I assume that they were friends. He was standing on the other side along with a bunch of other guys who I had seen on campus. He rose his eyebrow up at me while smirking which made me start laughing even harder. Once I had stopped laughing I winked at him before turning back to my friends.

   I had finally gotten to the point of being tipsy and I had managed to be a wing woman to half of my friends. I had managed to set one of them up with the jock Shownu who she had been crushing on since freshmen year. It was almost painfully obvious he felt the same way which made me wonder why they hadn’t gotten together yet.  Then another friend with the class clown Jooheon who almost everyone had a slight thing for. He was just a big dork but at the same time was there for anyone who needed someone to vent to.  I was just having a good night spending time with my friends and meeting other people from campus. I guess once I was tipsy I became a slight social butterfly which was not normal at all for me.

    Yet, it soon got too crowded in the basement and I was tired of people spilling their drinks on me. “Hey, guys I’m going upstairs. I need to breathe for a bit.” I shouted over the loud music. I got a few nods back from my friends before I walked off still holding on to my cup. Passing through the sweaty bodies of everyone else I felt a disgust wash over me wanting to get out of there even faster I picked up my pace. I made it to the stairs before I walked up I looked over my shoulder and made eye contact with Changkyun once again but this time it seemed as if he wanted to talk to me. Shrugging it off I turned back to the stairs.

   I picked up my foot taking the first step up when I looked up I made direct eye contact with one of my best friends ever Minhyuk. This boy is crazy but I love him dearly and as soon as our eyes met he started freaking out on the top of stairs which in turn lead to me running up the stairs to meet with him. “Why didn’t you tell me you were going to be here tonight?!” he asked me excitedly causing me to laugh.  “You didn’t even tell me you were going out!” I responded to him and in turn, he slapped my arm. “That’s fair but now we know. I’m going downstairs do you want to come?” he pointed down the stairs where I noticed that we were blocking the path of a bunch of different people. Shaking my head, I move away “I was just down there and I’m covered in drinks so I’m just going to chill up here and play games on my phone for a bit.” He rolled his eyes at me before walking down the stairs. He knew how antisocial I could be but at the same time, he knew not to push me.

I walked over to one of the couches and sat down being careful of not getting my drink on me or on the couch itself. Glancing around I noticed a few people walking in and out of the house and others sprawled among the couches but I had open spots next to me which was nice. I saw a few people I knew and waved at them but the few people I didn’t know I could only assume were new students checking out the party scene on campus.

On one of the other couches sat a group of girls who were clearly way to intoxicated to function but were having a good time with one another. At one point I noticed all of them exchanging their snapchat names it seems as if none of them knew each other before this night. Drunk girls are some of the best support systems because you could start off talking about outfits and by the end of the night you could end up with a new best friend that you could say hi to on campus. It’s partly how I meant Minhyuk since we were both drunk and at this very house. It started out with a simple question and it just went from there.

Deciding I had been looking around the room enough I pulled out my phone ready to text random people and play some of the games I had. I had managed to get close to my high score on this one game when I noticed a presence sit down next to me. Glancing up from my phone to see who exactly it was I made eye contact with Changkyun. A slight gasp left my mouth I quickly looked back at my phone but within those moments I had managed to lose my game and not even beat my high score. “What’s that pout for?” Changkyuns voice rang out next to me. I hadn’t even realized I was pouting until he had pointed it out and right away a blush covered my cheeks. “oh, uh I just lost the game I was playing…” I said shrugging and locking my phone right after since it seemed like he wanted to have a conversation with me.

“So, I’ve seen you on campus before, you hang out with Minkhyuk right?” he questioned me while moving slightly closer to me.  I nodded fiddling with my cup not really sure where he planned on going with this conversation. He chuckled at me already noticing my flustered state “Listen I won’t bite, well much.” Winking at me. I laughed and took a sip of my drink since you know what they say liquid courage. Usually, I’m pretty friendly with people but there was something about this kid that made me flustered to talk to him. “Yeah, we’ve been friends since freshmen year so it’s been quite a wild ride,” I explained to him.

Soon enough we fell into this rhythm where we were having a normal conversation but at the same time, we kept joking with one another. As we were talking we were drinking and soon enough we both were quite tipsy. “listen now listen-“ I started to say before he cut me off “listen Linda listen.” We both started dying of laughter at the reference. “Okay no would you want to help me out with a class? I need someone to act out this script with me and you seem perfect for it.” in an instant, he was excited over this and had taken my phone out of my hand. “Yes, I’m so down for that here’s my number text me tomorrow to go over more details because I’m so down for this.” He explained as he typed in the number.

We had grown more engrossed in the conversation getting to know each other better even though we both were drunk. As more and more people left the house the closer I got to Changkyun both physically and emotionally. “So, uh you uh you uh wanna see something uh really cool?” I asked him in my drunken stupor. “Oh, I have to see this…” he motioned for me to do whatever it was I wanted to do. “Alright, I need you to go over there against the wall!” I said excitedly and he walked over to the wall not quite sure what I was going to do. I walked over to him and nearly toppling over I stuck my leg on the wall my foot by his shoulder and I “sneakily” snuck it up by his head, stuck my hand next to my foot, leaned over and as non-drunkenly and seductive as I could I said “Hey, you come here often?”. In an instant, we both busted out laughing at how crazy this whole situation was and I backed off of him. “What. The. Hell. Was. That.” He questioned me while smiling like crazy. “That my good sir was how I flirt. Honestly, I think it’s working!” I explained to him. “I mean I can’t argue with that I’m pretty smitten myself.” An enormous smile soon came over my face because I had grown attached to him over the night. I knew tomorrow I would text him even if neither of us remembers our exact conversations.

It had soon gotten so late that my friends were starting to leave. It was almost past 2 in the morning it seems I had been so immersed in my conversation with Changkyun that I had lost track of time. “I’ll be right over guys just let me say bye to Changkyun real fast.” As soon as the words left my mouth I made eye contact with Minkhyuk who kept looking back and forth between the two of us with eyebrows raised. Rolling my eyes at him I looked back at Changkyun and as I went to say bye he smiled nodding to me “I’ll talk to you tomorrow alright?”. Happy with how the night had gone I leaned over and kiss his cheek before heading out of the house excited about tomorrow.
