for spotify, you can't just loop the song over and over. they will discard streams sometimes if you do it that way. there are many hyperspecific ways to make a playlist to boost the artist and song in charts but they're really boring to learn about, so just type "[song] streaming playlist" and add "overnight" if you're planning on streaming for a long period of time. do NOT shuffle!

if you have premium, make a stationhead account and go to the DIVE stationhead page. it makes streaming very easy. you don't have to be in the app and you can still watch videos without it pausing at all. the people behind the IVE channel also often do giveaways (stuff like albums) if you have a certain amount of streams (stationhead counts them).
