I’m so happy you guys, a new teal Minigenue has come to live with us! I’m just totally over the moon to have her! She’s hanging out now with my other teal ladies, I love how they all look together. 🥰🥰🥰 Many thanks to the lovely @britinysplayhouse for letting me adopt her! Britiny did her amazing little faceup too. I’m so impressed by the details dear, you’ve got some mad faceup skills indeed! But I’m so excited to have this girl and I want to stay up all night playing with her, lol! Alas gotta do the grown up thing and go to bed and go to work, ha! I did spend the weekend sewing my Gladiator Dolls Hunter a pair of pants. But then after all of that, I hated them so the poor guy is back in the stripped shorts. Which were originally made for my big Twigling girls. In fact, everything he’s wearing at this point was sewn for Twigling dolls, lol. Tried on some clothes on my Elf Kai I’d made previously for a smaller doll, the pants fit but not well. I’ll definitely need to make some adjustments, but otherwise the pattern will work fine. I was looking through my fabric stash, definitely love him in pastel hues, pinks, purples and teals. And I ordered some small wales corduroy fabric for the pants I want to make him. Photo-Bombing Frenchies 😂 I attempted a photo shoot in my Step-Mom’s lovely garden. 🪴 🌺 🌱 I love this first one where Penny leaps up into the flower bed, grabs of piece of decorative drift wood and almost clobbers my doll. Started this Fair Isle sweater that will fit my big Twigling girls. Also finally took some photos of the MinIngenue sweater I finished last week too. I had told myself I would use a larger size yarn if I was going to knit a sweater for my big Twigling girls, but I love the colors of this yarn so much, I really wanted to use it. At the same time I decided that EVERY row needs to utilize two colors. Because I’m nuts really but as a result this sleeve took two days, ha 😆🤦🏻‍♀️ ... In other news it’s been an exhausting week, all of my bulldog kids have come down with a nasty upper respiratory infection. Many sleepless nights up taking care of sniffling, snorting gagging, and wheezing babies. Fortunately I am also able to take them to work with me for care too. There’s been lots of testing and treatments. Wanted to start knitting a new sweater so that meant making new yarn balls for the colors I wanted to use. On the last one I pretty much went through the entire ball on the main color, and then about half way through for the second most used colors, the others hardly get used at all. But point is i don’t even get close to running out. Which is just really awesome because even on a piece where I’m switching around to a lot of different colors, I can carry it around in a way tinier bag and it’s much easier overall too, working with a piece that’s got 5+ strands coming off it. Enjoying the process all the more. Bed side dollies! 🥰♥️ ………………………………. Wow, what an exhausting 2 weeks it’s been, covering extra shifts and being the only doctor while boss took time off. Half the staff is new and in the midst of training. AND we switched back from curb side to in person. Even with all the upheaval, things went less horrible then expected.
