Hiiii! I had some thoughts that I wanted to rant about and to know your opinion on them ^^

Yoonmin is the first couple I've ever shipped and when I first became an army and heard about this ship it caught me sooo of guard? I had only heard about taekook (note: I'm not a taekooker) and at first yoonmin made no sense to me, like bubbly jimin... quiet yoongi... (it was all the first couple of months when i still didn't know well their personalities and I wasn't aware about Bi King Yoongi) but then I started seeing their little things™ and I understood why people ship them.

I'm saying all this because I've just seen a video about the history of "larry" ship and everything around it sounds so crazy (and not credible at all) to me. Do you think yoonmin are aware that people ship them together? And if so, do you think it would make them uncomfortable?

Apparently, both parties of the Larry ship were asked in multiple interviews if they were together and were harassed by fans to uncover the "truth", which they said it made them uncomfortable and that that narrative was harmful (since there are partners and a son involved).

I think yoonmin's case is pretty different since BTS has never been publicly asked about ships (to my knowledge) and I don't think yoonmin would be offended if they knew we ship them, since it's contained within the fandom and there is no harassment/invasion of privacy happening (just us having fun being delulu and thinking about them <3).

Also, the video talks about the "Larry evidence" and honestly if those fans were given an ounce of yoonmin content they would go into cardiac arrest. Like... we don't have to speculate about couple tattoos, jimin literally has yoongi's lyrics on his chest. Among other things ☺️

PS I wanted to add that if anyone that reads this is a fan of that ship I'm sorry don't let my opinion ruin your fun, you can still enjoy your ship even if other ppl question it (always respecting the artists boundaries)

First of all, I have to be honest: I know almost nothing about Larry or about 1D in general. I have heard that they seem uncomfortable with being shipped, but…that’s all I know. So I can’t comment too much on that aspect of your ask.

In terms of yoonmin…

Shipping is absolutely a part of K-pop…and was a part of K-pop years before BTS debuted. So, I think it’s safe to assume they knew this from the beginning, and they certainly know it now (in my opinion!) Remember…Jimin’s moon tattoos were based on fan art. They are aware of what goes on within the fandom.

As for your next question: does it make them uncomfortable?

I think invasion of privacy, criticism of other pairs/members, and negativity in general make them uncomfortable. Unfortunately, those are qualities that can be found scattered here and there throughout the fandom and aren’t limited to shipping circles. There are rude/negative non-shippers and rude/negative solos, etc, etc.

Does it make them uncomfortable when people happily ship them, point out their cute and caring moments, create art about their dynamic, form friendships with other fans who see things similarly? No, I don’t think so. Why would it?!

if i could spend a day with jungkook, i'd love to go out on a nice stroll around the city to window shop and head to different restaurants to eat (preferably for late lunch and dinner since i am NOT a morning person & hardly eat breakfast), then head home to have a cozy night in and play video games with him for the remainder of the night! i really want to play fortnite with him (no builds on fortnite is fun, i swear, and they have 2 dynamite emotes that i DID buy, ok pls don't judge jsjjsknj) 😭 i know he'd be amazing at it. like, c'mon kook, be my duo partner so you can carry me in each game!! lol also would LOVE to see him play dead by daylight to see how he'd do haha

if i could spend a day with taehyung, i'd want to have a spa day, whether at home or at an actual spa, where we both can relax! if we do a spa day at home, i'd love to pamper him and brush/play with his hair. maybe do a manicure for him if he wants and some face masks. we'd def watch some dramas/movies while waiting for takeout to arrive. i'm an introvert that loves spending time at home rather than outside tbh. i think taehyung would enjoy doing something like this with me too! i can def picture him putting on his favorite songs while dancing around with a facemask on and hair tied back lol

as for other dynamics in the group, i am very fond of yoonmin! i've loved their dynamic since day 1. (they were actually the first dynamic i grew to love a week into bts' debut!!) their little grandma/grandpa fights make me laugh/look at them fondly. they overall remind me of an old couple that bickers just to bicker lol not to mention, yoongi has stated multiple times how jimin's voice is his favorite! (yet we STILL DON'T HAVE THE MINIMINI SUBUNIT?!?! we are deprived!!!) the way jimin teases yoongi sometimes makes me giggle way too much. i think it's super cute, i adore them so much!

minimoni. they are SUPER CUTE!!!! their moments make my insides all warm sdjjskj jihope! i feel like this is kind of self-explanatory. jimin followed hobi to lollapalooza, and they were in paris tgt recently! they're extremely supportive of each other in general. i love them :( namjin bc they've been married for 2838209 years. vminkook, my beloved maknaes 🫶 they're all attached to the hip and love/care for one another deeply. they're MY BABIES FR!!!!!

note: i adore every dynamic in bts overall!!! the way each member loves one another makes me believe i'll never find another group that loves each other the way they do.
