A throwback!

In the weeks leading up to the release of the third volume of the Minecraft graphic novel i wrote, i did some minecraft drawings, just for fun!

i'm not really a gamer, but Minecraft continues to be my favourite thing. It's something i log into every single day, and getting the chance to work with Mojang and write three graphic novels about it that i can go out and see in basically any store that sells books was one of the greatest experiences of my professional career. i love what we were able to make together and i'm so, so grateful for the opportunity to have done that.

Happy (almost) October 2024!!!

I'm trying this again! Here's hoping I actually finish it this year lmao Let me know how it goes if anyone else tries it this year! :D (I actually got all the days and everything spelled correctly on the first try this year lol)

I actually had a lot of fun trying to do this last year before life got crazy so If I can get ahead of life this year I'll finish it now. (Hopefully lol) Either way, I'm excited to make some cool builds and get a little better :D

Im a little late to the party, but Ive been swamped at work recently. Im officially joinin in on the Buildtober fun though! Im using the Buildtober list made by @matteverwood specifically, and I am so excited! Im gonna have to play catchup a little but it looks so fun!

Day 5 Portal!

Holy cow this one was so finicky. I tried making this with glass panes first and it did like the opposite of the effect I was trying to get. I was fighting with the lighting of both regular Minecraft and with my shaders. But it's done and I'm pretty satisfied with it :D

I saw a minetober post going around and I had this idea around last year but I never got around to it. I thought i’d post it and everyone else could join in if they wanted!

Over the Garden Wall Themed Town: Minetober

You get two days to build each (hence there being only 15 items), if you finish one early you can use the time to build other items in the list or decorate the surroundings and in-between parts of the town to tie everything together!

Also i recommend Biomes O Plenty so you can use the seasonal forest biome, it’s perfect for this :)

The research station in the iceberg provides a cozy yet cold home for scientists. These scientists test the ice and surrounding waters for new uses for the chilly substances, and what better place to do that than an iceberg?
