This is a little bit of a request, but unfortunately, I have more intel to add to the MCYT family tree, via real life!

Martyn InTheLittleWood is married to NettyPlays.

NettyPlays is Stampy Cat's sister.

Mr. Stampy Cat is married to Sqaishey. AND via "Cave Den", they had, at the very least, adopted(? I haven't watched the series in years) a pig child named Doobie Doo.

At least MOST of these relationships make sense... but for just about everything else on the family tree chart, someone PLEASE stop these M!necraft people. They are a menace to society.

T0ont0wn crossover writing consultation ask: do you think capitalistic robots seeking world domination will feed a young child (aged ~5) they plan on indoctrinating? If yes, what quality do you think the food will be? Will it be nutritious enough for a young child to survive?

I had to think about this one for awhile because I'll be honest I don't even know if toons need food to survive (And I'm assuming that by child you mean a toon child of course), they can certainly eat if they want to but I think they really just need laughter and joy to truly thrive.

But for the sake of argument let's say that they do- I'd imagine that healthy and nutritious food for a toon is probably pretty different from our human standards- toon food would probably lean a lot more saccharine or just silly childish food in general- comfort foods and desert sort of things.

Given that several gags that injure COGs are food related I highly doubt they'd be keen on handing those over willy nilly to their toon captive- it'd be too much of a risk- growing child or not. Not to mention that doing so would go directly against their M.O.- COGs want to make the Toons and T0ont0wn in general more corporate and serious like they are I really doubt they'd let this kid enjoy fun toon food that they'd need to develop into a happy healthy battle-ready toon.

Now I keep on going back and forth in my head on if COGs would even eat anything resembling organic food cuz.... well they're robots lol. I've done a bit of research and found that during the Bossbot HQ Clubhouse battle there is a part where the Toons have to pretend to be waiters for the COGs banquet and it's stated that COGs love oil- but if it's too greasy they'll straight-up explode! ... HOWEVER- the card art for the Bloodsuckers and Bottom Feeders DO show them eating organic material (a lollypop for bloodsuckers and.... literal trash for bottom feeders lol)- so if you take the card art as hard evidence then Yes, COGs do eat organic material! So I'll cover for both options just to be thorough.

I'd imagine in both circumstances it'd be a hard switch from whatever food this captive used to eat to whatever the COGs want them to eat- since Toons don't go by our rules I could see them being able to ingest things like oil or fuel- but it'd definitely make them very unhappy :( As for organic food, I'm picturing either the most boring bland typical meals you can think of like plain toast and black coffee, or maybe even just whatever they'd find in vending machines during lunch breaks- I think Higher-Ups would get more fancy food though like a nice steak or something, whatever fits that rich business man aesthetic y'know.

The quality of the meals given to the Toon would probably be low by COG standards- I can't imagine them ever considering wasting their higher quality goods on some Toon- Hell they'd probably even make them work for it, no free handouts- Sorry kid you have to start at the bottom of the ladder like everyone else! But hey maybe if the Toon in question proved themself to be a hard disciplined worker and loyally embrace the soulless capitalist lifestyle the COGs would be willing to reward their newest employee with some better nourishment- maybe even start giving this Toon a paycheck to further push them into being a good little worker! (... not sure how much the toon would appreciate it all though- especially if it's just more oil and junk like that lol)

(... Also I feel like even if the Toon were to start ahdering more to COG lifestyle they'd still be alienated by other COGs- probably jealous lower level COGs- and always reminded that they'll never truly be one of them- they will always just be a Toon in a COG society)

I can't imagine it would be good for the Toon long term- whether it's boring bland food or literally oil, but I do think they could survive- Toons are hardy beings. I don't really know how severely it'd affect a growing toons development, they could end up weaker or less joyful then an average toon- but maybe in turn not as badly affected by attacks from COGs. If they were to escape or be rescued maybe they'd struggle to get back into eating what they used too, having now grown accustomed to what the COGs would feed them. There's a lot of different ways you could go about how this could affect a Toon longterm!

Post-Canon Pirates Headcanons

-The isles immediately outside the ice wall are pretty ravaged by corruption for about a fifty mile perimeter. Beyond that is a perimeter of uninhabited islands, any people who might have lived there in the past had long since fled for fear of the corruption spreading outwards. Due to this it takes several weeks sailing past where the ice wall once stood to actually reach inhabited land.

-The areas outside the ice wall meanwhile don't realize anything was beyond the corruption, they assumed the corruption just swallowed everything in that area. Needless to say it creates quite a stir when people claiming to be from the area inside the corruption start showing up.

-Owen keeps traveling with Luanne but also starts working with Gabriel to try to fill in any gaps/correct any misinformation in the history books.

-Scott explores for a bit before settling down on one of the uninhabited islands beyond the ice wall and setting up another animal sanctuary, though the island also ends up slowly growing into a town with many of the pirates who go explore beyond the ice wall using it as a sort of home base away from the faction isles.

-Scott cuts all ties he has to his parents, he ends up tossing his coat since it was a gift from his mother and getting a new wardrobe and changes his last name from Denholm to Smajor. He's also very careful to time his visits back to the faction isle to visit Acho's grave to ensure he doesn't run into his parents. He has no desire to confront his parents, they're not worth it and they won't listen to anything he has to say anyway. The other pirates do their best meanwhile to ensure the Denholm parents never find out where Scott went.

-Alongside working to undo the petrifiction, Apo and Graecie also help lead the charge to put the faction isles back together following the cultists killing over half the townsfolk and a large portion of the recruits.

-Apo also takes on the extra work of working with any pirates who don't go beyond the ice wall but don't stay on the faction isles plus any new pirates recruited after Iris's defeat to try to track down the moving island so they can recover Hook.

-CPK helps bring in a lot more new recruits and some new townsfolk, his main goal is recruiting more Kites but he does still frequently send along pirates that, while interested in the factions, aren't entirely sure the Kites are the right choice for them.

-The bounty guild kind of falls apart without Saffrie. There's no one really ready to step into her role and thus it ends up falling apart.

-I'm stealing @minecraftrelatedrandomness headcanon that Ros helps Kyle turn the temple into a museum honoring those who who were petrified by Iris. Afterwards Kyle decides to finally focus on his music rather than pleasing his dead dad and Ros goes to help Scott run his animal sanctuary.

-Sausage takes Jellie with him on his interdimensional travels at first though later entrusts her care to Graecie and Apo, both because he doesn't want her getting hurt while he's out on his adventures and because if/when they manage to unpetrify Scar he wants Jellie to be there when he wakes up.

-The faction leaders track down the families of any of the petrified that have them and tell them what happened. It's a job no one enjoys but someone has to do it.

-I like to believe they manage to figure out how to undo the petrification, and when they do the first person Apo and Graecie bring back is Marnie, though they work to get everyone back as quickly as they can.

Acho had spent pretty much the entire meal questioning what must’ve been every decision Scott has ever made in his life before Scott could finally manage to get a word in.

“Ok, first off, you do NOT get to judge me about Martyn or Sausage. Let’s mention the people you are interested before we get to that,” Scott placed his mug down with a smug expression, enjoying the startled look on his younger siblings face.

Acho adverted star’s eyes downward, taking a bite of a dumpling in a bad attempt to put off the conversation and not speak.

“First off, it seems like you have a type. Not really a good one either.”

Scott pointed out, not hesitating at all.

“Because first off, god, I love Owen, don’t get me wrong, but really, Acho?”

They immediately shot up, cherry red coating his face in rapid succession. “Hey!”

Scott cackled, throwing his head back and stomping his feet in delight at the action. “Someone’s defensive! Why, you want her to shoot you or something?”

Acho sank back down into star’s chair, crossing his arms on the table and placing their chin on top. “He’s really pretty..ok? I wanna play with his hair and stuff.”

Scott snorts, taking a swig of his drink. “Good luck with that..also, Enchantress?”

The coughing fit that sends Acho into is enough to make him fall off of his chair, wheezing as the the entire bar stares at them.

Worth it.

Right now, it is being managed by @minecraftrelatedrandomness and @luzublogs, but the two of us won't be able to keep the page up to date just by ourselves, so anyone who wants to pitch in is welcome to help!

If you don't know what TV Tropes is, it's basically like another kind of wiki used to catalogue 'tropes' (i.e. storytelling conventions) that commonly show up in media, it makes for a very good resource when properly managed!

We also have a Spanish version of the tropes page in the works, but neither of us are fluent in Spanish, so we are looking for editors willing to help us out on that. Since QSMP is a bilingual server, we'd love for it to be as accessible as possible to both English- and Spanish-speaking fans. We'd also greatly appreciate the help with documenting tropes found in the Spanish streams, and help in making sure the character pages for the Spanish cc's characters are accurate.

i usually don't have many casual headcanons now, but here's one:

the king of the hill totem (the infinite uses one) from the most recent event has copper eyes instead of emerald ones to signify its connection to The Fates. mainly bc i think visual contrast between that totem and a normal one would be Interesting

Oh thanks! I have actually watched all of Martyn and Owen's youtube series! I know I missed out on a lot doing only that but I'm despicably bad with watching streams/vods.

I watched as much as Scott uploaded to YT (not a lot lol) and I know Acho has something going on that fascinated me but I don't think they have any videos. If there's anyone with more episodes I'd be interested in watching them maybe! But I understand Pirates was very vod heavy and I'm gonna be missing information no matter what I do if I don't watch them haha

p!kuervo headcanon(s) under the cut 💜

okay. so!!. my headcanon lore:tm: for kuervo's backstory goes as follows:

before becoming a pirate, kuervo used to be a performer/dancer at a bar back at his home. it started dating the bartender, and all was well for a couple years (they were planning to get married).

until. :)

one day a group of navy soldiers come in on shore leave while kuervo's performing, and get Very drunk and rowdy.

one of the soldiers takes a fancy to it, and starts flirting + tries to kiss it.

this is when its partner comes in, punching the guy, and it starts an entire huge barfight. tl;dr, it ends with its partner getting shot (fatally) (and also kuervo losing an eye from Extreme Blunt Trauma).

kuervo runs off after the funeral and after their house is cleared out, and ends up becoming a pirate. it decides to join the kites, learning to fight (and also as an excuse to fuck up some navy soldiers :)).

so yeah !. purple hyacinths are commonly used in funeral arrangements, symbolizing both rememberance of the deceased and a deep sorrow or regret, as well as asking forgiveness in some cases. :D

Yes, unfortunately, it genuinely is mostly streams and isn't as accessible as we'd otherwise like. A handful of POVs are being adapted or have been adapted into episodes, but not nearly as many as I would've liked. Plotline-by-plotline recaps are a WIP right now
