My Hitsuhina Headcanons

ah yes, the sound of quarantine driving me so far down the rabbit hole that I am back on tumblr :’) 

(no seriously it’s been years since I’ve last posted any of my own personal posts)

Anyways, because of the return of Bleach here’s some fluff/daily-life/nuanced headcanons that I was thinking of when scrolling through the Hitsuhina tag the other day:

Hitsugaya has his own favorite pen. Hear me out, this paperwork chaser who takes the time and effort to make sure that everyone knows his paperwork is the best probably has not only his favorite filling system and tabs for his binders, but his own favorite pen that doesn’t break no matter how hard he grips it and slides smoothly on paper without leaving smudges.

(hinamori probably gave it to him as a birthday present I sAID WHAT I SAID)

Hinamori strikes me as the type of person that has a monthly/weekly planner. You know, the ones that have the month all out as a calendar but break down week by week so you can plan out what items you’re gonna do per day for the whole week.

Hitsugaya is the one to have a DAILY planner. (I might have an obsession with planners but hear me out). Those bad boys are when you’re SO busy that you just need to see your daily life on paper and see what you’re planning for each hour of the day. He does this because otherwise, he  thinks he won’t be able to meet deadlines

Hitsugaya is the type of person to want to get things done 1 week before the deadline. With Matsumoto as his Lieutenant, he quickly realized that was impossible and now only wants things done 6 days in advance.

MATSUMOTO GETTING HINAMORI DRUNK aka my favorite trope and Toshiro getting so SICK of having to carry the both of them back to the barracks. Matsumoto only does this once she knows her captain can actually carry the both of them (and she knows he doesn’t actually hate it) 

He just fukin grabs them both under each of his arms and carries them back because he has 0 patience. (also adult!toshiro has my whole heart)

He drops off Rangiku first and tries to pick up Momo to drop off at the 5th division but she’s OUT (like a light)

So he just sorta is in his Lieutenants room with 2 passed out females drunks and has no idea what to do (passed out people are sorta heavy and he really doesn’t want her to throw up on him)

He leaves Momo in his room then, it’s nearby and it’s a lot closer than the 5th division’s barracks.

my 2nd favorite trope is them sharing a bed together but my paperwork bb wants to get an early start so he sleeps in the office

but he makes sure to put water and medicine near his bed for Momo to drink when she wakes up

It takes a solid 100 years for Toshiro’s body to age properly. We saw in Isshin’s flashback, Toshiro was still a little kid and in the epilogue, 10 years had passed but he still hasn’t grown much. Idk shinigami aging makes 0 sense to me whatsoever.

Shinji helps Momo get her bankai (because this brotp NEEDS MORE MOMENTS and is SEVERELY UNDERRATED) and she surprises Toshiro with it when she gets it.

He’s so shocked when he sees her Bankai but then smiles because she’s so powerful and he’s so proud of her.

I like to think that Hinamori’s Bankai isn’t just her dressed up and throwing only two flaming cannon balls with the bells (like her zanpakto in that filler arc) 

it’s more about control over fire, and she can create multiple fire balls but can also control when they “snap” and explode and also the shape of them.

yeah add your own thoughts but I just always wish we could see more of the little details of how they live and interact with each other. :(
