see the normal trajectory is that you watch either breaking bad or bojack horseman and you're introduced to jesse pinkman or todd chavez from the start and it makes sense that you're like 'ah this guy is kinda silly and whimsical! i love that about him' and then you proceed to have ur heart broken for them over the next so many seasons. and then you just slowly start making your way down the rest of aaron paul's filmography.

my trajectory is that i watched 2 seasons of westworld and had no idea what they were gonna do next and then they introduced caleb nichols in season 3 and i went 'ah this guy is violently depressed! who is he? why should i care?' and then over the next 7 episodes grew to love him. and then i burned through as many things in aaron paul's filmography as i could find accessible ways to watch.

Westworld would have been better as a lowbudget/midbudget Syfy network show filmed outside Vancouver with Jimmi Simpson as the only already established actor.
