The world is full of distractions, naysayers, bad counsel, saboteurs, negativity and all sorts of things designed to derail you from your purpose and destiny. Those are the things to rebel against. In childhood I was not very talkative. It came across as "shyness" to teachers and elders. I hated attention. What they didn't understand is that my personality was inclined towards being an introvert, a thinker and strategist. So whilst they thought I was too shy to speak and needed to "be bubblier", I was silently observing and reading situations or people and coming up with ways to dodge trouble, and thinking through loopholes to problems I could see brewing. Very early in my journey of self-discovery and personal development I discovered personality tests. They saved my sanity from everyone who had an opinion about who I 'should become', 'should be like' and how I 'should be'. Though some personality tests are not always accurate, Myers Briggs summed mine up pretty well - INFJ. Go check out www.16personalities.com and find out what your wiring is.
