Us (Alexia Putellas x reader)
A/N: I have no idea where this came from but it has been stuck in my head for a few weeks. I hope you guys like it!
You had been in the most important meeting of your career when you received a message. You never turned your phone off in case there was an emergency but you did put it on do not disturb. The small vibration in your pocket told you 1 of 2 people were trying to get in touch with you. Your manager was in the meeting with you so it only left one person.
I need you, please can you come over.
As far as Alexia was aware you were in England. Your mind went to the worse case scenario because it had to be something bad if she was asking you to get on a plane and fly to Barcelona with no explanation.
In the politest way possible you excuse yourself from the meeting and leave your future in the safe hands of your manager, who upon seeing your face backs your decision to leave without asking any questions.
A quick text is sent to your girlfriend saying that you are on your way but there’s no response. You try calling only there is no answer. By the time you get to her apartment building you are filled with worry and you waste no time in running up the stairs having no patience to wait for the elevator.
When you knock on the door you are not met by your girlfriend.
“You’re the lion?” The resemblance was even more striking up close. You had met Alba once or you had at least been in the same room as her.
“Technically I’m a lioness”
It makes a little more sense now. No one was aware of your relationship and in order to keep the questions at bay you didn’t save each others phone number under a name, instead it was an emoji. Yours was a lion due your national team’s nickname and your on pitch persona. Hers was a crown because she was your queen and known by the fans as La Reina.
“Alba let her in” another woman, Alexia’s mother, guides you through the apartment even though you have been here enough times to know your way around.
“You’re the girl my daughter has been seeing”
“I am and I will happily introduce myself and answer any questions you may have after I have seen her”
“She’s in the living room. When we came she was crying and she won’t talk to any of us” one of Alexia’s best friends says.
It didn’t look good. Her mother, sister and best friend all at your girlfriends apartment yet she is refusing to talk to any of them
The three woman give you some space as you enter the living room. All of them hoped that you would have more luck at finding out what was wrong.
“Hello you” you crouch down so that you are at her level and without saying a word Alexia wraps her arms around you tightly. The speed of it almost sends you both to the ground but you steady yourself just in time.
Once on the sofa Alexia buries her face in the crook of your neck.
“How are you here?”
“That doesn’t matter. Alexia, what is wrong?”
“They won’t leave me alone. It’s like they are obsessed with my personal life. I’m happy, why isn’t that enough for them? Why do they need to get involved and keep bringing up the past?”
You were at a loss. Yes you were aware of the spotlight that was constantly on Alexia, one was on you as well but you had been dating for almost 2 years now and nobody was the wiser.
“Who cariño?” Eli asks from the other side of the room.
“The girls. They think that because Jenni signed for Atleti that we are going to get back together. We finally got back to a good place during the World Cup and no one seems to understand that we are just friends. We are Y/N, I promise nothing is going on” Alexia turns to look at you.
During the World Cup you saw the rumours and they spread quickly given that everyone assumes Alexia is single. At first it bothered you but the two of you talked about it and you realised that you were jealous for no reason. Alexia was your girl and only yours.
“I know” deep down you hated that she was still getting linked to another woman but it wasn’t a threat to your relationship so you let it go.
“They are going to ruin everything. They don’t even know and they are ruining—“
“Alexia, nobody is ruining anything. Let your friends talk. At the end of the day it is me and you”
The three other women in the room watched and listened as you talked Alexia through her panic. You were able to calm her and bring her peace in a moment that was very overwhelming for her.
“But Jenni is—“
“Jenni is your past and that cannot be changed. What have I told you?” You ask your girlfriend.
The woman who is still cuddled into your side mumbles something incoherent and you know she is mumbling because she doesn’t want the other women to know the words you told her during the summer.
“She’s your first love Alexia, I intend to be your last” you kiss the corner of her mouth.
The sound of awes burst the little bubble that you had formed around you and Alexia. Clearly embarrassed, Alexia once again hides herself.
Knowing that the two of you can’t ignore the introduction that the women are waiting for, Alexia officially introduces you to Eli, Alba and Miri as her girlfriend.
“What happens now?” Alexia asks you “Do we tell people? I don’t want our bubble to break, everything is normal with you. We are Y/N and Alexia but when people find out we will be captains, players and rivals”
“Hey, calm down. They will change but we won’t. Do you want to be us normal or what everyone else expects us to be?”
“Us normal”
“Well then I am going to drive you back to your training facility, open the door for you like I always do, I’ll kiss you goodbye and then you’re going to go to work”
Your confidence was reassuring to all in the room.
Alexia tells you that she is going to freshen up in the bathroom which leaves you alone with three of the most important people in her life. Your media training comes in very handy as you are able to answer all of Alba’s and Miri’s questions without hesitation or breaking a sweat. However, Eli’s question catches you off guard.
“You’re the reason why Alexia didn’t come back to the room after the awards show in Dubai aren’t you?”
“Guilty but nothing happened” technically it was the truth, nothing did happen that night “We spent the night in the hotel bar talking then went to the beach to watch the sunrise”
“Can I ask you a question?” Alba says “If you were in England when you received the text would have come?”
“I would have been on the first flight out, yes”
It seemed to enough to please the younger Putellas because she simply nodded her head.
Once Alexia was ready you did as you said. The two of you drove to Joan Camper, Alexia quizzed you the entire car journey because you still hadn’t told her why you were in Barcelona. You open the door for her as expected but what Alexia didn’t expect was you to walk with her into the facility.
“I love that you care but you don’t have to do this for me, I can handle it”
“Who says I’m doing it for you”
The two of you stop in front of the canteen. It was surrounded by glass windows and you can see the majority of the team eating their lunch.
“Us normal?” You ask Alexia and she nods her head. As you normally would whenever you visited her or she visited you, you kissed her once on the lips and then once on her hairline as she hugged you goodbye.
“Wait! Where are you going?” Alexia asks as you don’t go in the direction of the exit.
“You asked how I’m here. Well, I have a job interview with your boss”

Away From Her Goalie - Clàudia Pina x Reader
A/n: next part in the Score A Goalie universe... enjoy! next one will take a while, it requires research:)
///
The UWCL final in Eindhoven was here. Barcelona versus Wolfsburg. Clàudia on the pitch, you watching from the stands. You hadn’t felt so anxious about a match since the Copa De La Reina final, Atleti against Real Madrid, a match that went from 2-0 up to Real Madrid to Atleti bringing it to 2-2, through extra time and into penalties. Atleti came out on top and you were unashamed to admit that you had shed tears of joy over Atleti’s victory.
You had spent your time after the league finished organising the stuff you had brought to Barcelona back in January, trying to fit what you needed for your plans after the final.
Both sets of plans, as Clàudia planned to help you with your move, before the two of you went on a small holiday to serve as a break for you before you were thrown into training for the NWSL with NJ/NY Gotham FC, a club in need of a strong goalie to maintain their position at number 1 in the table.
It was hard, but you no longer had your apartment in Madrid, moving your things into storage that you did want to keep, but selling a lot. Clàudia was keeping some of your stuff for your return to Barcelona, the plans being after the NWSL season was done in November, you would be able to visit whilst Atleti and Gotham sorted out the post-NWSL training you could do before the winter transfer window in January.
But your career wasn’t the focus right now, as you sat in the stands of the Philips Stadium, in Eindhoven, waiting. Pina was on the bench but the stadium energy was electric.
Wolfsburg may have scored two goals first, but you couldn’t help but think about the Copa De La Reina final, Atleti were two goals down before bringing it up to 2-2, taking it to penalties after extra time where Atleti won.
You did not want it to go to penalties.
The second half was different and you could feel it, Patri sending the ball into the net to take it to 2-1, then two minutes later, Patri sent the ball in again, the score going to 2-2. Rolfö eventually making it 3-2 but later shots were going wide.
Pina was finally subbed on for Mariona in the 79th minute, while Ana was subbed on for Caro at the same time.
You grimaced as Wilms fouled Pina, but it wasn’t long after that Wilms was subbed off. A clash between Bronze and Popp had all the attention on the sidelines however, as Ingrid and Alexia prepared to be subbed onto the pitch at the 89th minute. 7 minutes of stoppage time were added, your stomach twisting as you leaned forwards in your seat, watching carefully.
Popp and Paredes ended up with yellow cards after a collision almost looked like it would turn into a fight on the pitch, Alexia and Ingrid having been subbed on minutes before the seven minutes of stoppage time arrived. Tackles flew in with players dropping like flies and you couldn’t stop grimacing.
Eventually the minutes ran out, Barcelona being crowned champions of Europe as Queen’s We Are The Champions played across the stadium, the team swaying and Pina rocking the trophy like it was a baby.
She spotted you in the stands, grinning and waving as you waved back, jumping up and down in celebration.
///
The UWCL final was a flashbulb memory in your mind, and your fiancee’s as you sorted out your suitcases, the flight across the Atlantic amounting to more than 8 hours in the air, with Patri driving you two to the Barcelona airport.
“I will miss you, but I will miss your pancakes more.” Patri declared as she watched you travel with double the amount of suitcases as Pina, but the reasoning made sense.
You were moving countries for your career, your fiancee was helping you settle in first, but you were allowed a break before going head on into the NWSL.
A break that you were spending with Pina, visiting someone you hadn’t seen in almost a year. Jenni Hermoso, who currently resides in Mexico to play for Pachuca in the Liga MX Femenil.
Arriving at JFK airport, Pina pulled up her hood, whilst you dug through your backpack, eventually finding a pair of sunglasses and putting them on to obscure your face.
“Where do we go?”
“I was emailed instructions… we need to get the subway to…” you paused, looking between your suitcases, to your large backpack balanced on one of them, to Pina’s luggage, “we’re taking suitcases on the subway… great start.”
“So we go from central station and get a connecting train to New Jersey…” You went over the instructions, passing Pina your sunglasses as you found your hat, almost amused at the Atleti logo on it but you were pretty sure someone had recognised you both whilst on the subway already.
///
“This should be it. The club arranged something close to the subway so I could get around without a car.” You explained, putting the key in the lock and almost celebrating when it turned and opened the door.
Wheeling all the suitcases inside, you headed over to the windows as you heard your fiancee speak, “es pequeño,” as she locked the door behind you both.
“Un poco,” agreeing with her, but it was a studio apartment with a tiny kitchen and windows that let in a lot of natural light, the view of the city presenting the hustle and bustle of New Jersey as you gazed out at the busy road full of cars.
“It feels very… New York, New Jersey… I don’t see a bat signal though.” You joked, peeking through the blinds like you were looking for a way to summon Batman.
“Gotham.” Pina rolled her eyes playfully as she snickered at your joke, walking over to the window to have a look.
“Suppose I should unpack something. Can’t leave it all until I’m back from Mexico and you’re on a flight… back to Barcelona.” Meeting your fiancee’s sad gaze, you held back your emotions as she reached for your hand.
“What am I doing? Moving nearly forty thousand miles away from you for a few months in the hopes my goalkeeper career isn’t just sitting on a bench until I retire then get stuck trying to become a goalkeeper coach? I’m sorry, you deserve better.”
“No. I deserve you. We deserve each other, and we both deserve play time, but I want you too.” Pina declared, her hand cupping your cheek as your face softened from where it was scrunched up in sadness, trying to hold the tears back.
“I want you too, and I want to play minutes. You are the only person who has put me first in a long time. You’re it for me, mi vida, our souls are together, even when our bodies are so far apart. I want to come back to you, marry you, and never leave you again, unless you don’t want that-”
“I choose you, remember? And our bodies are not apart yet.” Pina smirked, leaning in to press her lips against yours, before pulling away as you smiled.
“You’re right. In fact, I think our bodies could be a little closer.”
///
It took a little while to get your stuff unpacked, the two of you heading back out to travel from Hoboken and ending up in Greenwich Village, Lower Manhattan.
“I’m sorry you’re missing Ibiza this year.” You apologised over dinner/lunch (the timezone difference threw you two off), but your fiancee shook her head, pointing out that she was getting to spend time with her fiancee, in a new city before heading to another new city for a few days and seeing Jenni again after so long.
“I missed you in New York last winter.” Pina rationalised, smiling at you, before avoiding eye contact with whoever was behind you as the two of you were recognised.
“When do Atleti and Gotham announce your loan? People are recognising us from Barcelona.”
///
The flight to Mexico was nowhere near as long as the Transatlantic flight from Barcelona, the two of you bringing a lot less luggage too as you both looked to find Jenni and whoever she had brought with her to pick you both up from arrivals.
“¡Hola mis bebés!” Jenni cheered, pulling you both into a hug when she spotted the two of you approaching.
///
Your time in Mexico came and went, revealing the engagement to Jenni and how you were going to be on loan to NJ/NY Gotham until the end of the 2023 NWSL season. Jenni’s reaction included how you did not ask for her blessing, before she was congratulating you both and hugging you for taking a big step in your goalkeeping career.
Now you were staring out of your tiny studio apartment’s windows, watching the sun rise and trying to hype yourself up on your first day with Gotham.
///
Atleti and Gotham posted their posts first. Atleti revealed you had been sent on loan to NJ/NY Gotham for the rest of the 2023 NWSL season with good luck.
Gotham was a little more excited for you, using a photo array of shadows to tease your arrival, the shadows even resembled Batman before the final reveal of you in the Gotham goalie kit, the shadows made to look like the Bat Signal through the use of the spotlights during the photography session.
You were the next one to post, announcing your loan with a repost of the photo of you in the Gotham kit, with Bat Signal shining onto the dark background behind you, followed by photos of New York and New Jersey you had saved from when you and Pina were exploring around the two states.
Your previous posts consisted of photos of you and Pina hanging out with Jenni in Mexico, throwing people off online who thought everyone would be going to Ibiza, whilst leaving fans speculating as your engagement rings were spotted in one of the photos.
‘Sorry I’m not Batman, but I’m here to protect Gotham.’ Your caption was cheesy, especially with the bat emojis that Pina copied into her comment, along with a heart and flame emoji reminding you of the early days in your relationship.

Hi I have a request if it’s possible
I was wondering if you could do a scenario in which Pablo gets jealous because João keeps on flirting with you and his emotions get the best of him. Something angsty but with a fluffy ending :)
A/N: Hope you like it ;)
•••
You were getting ready to go out with your boyfriend and a group of his friends. You were putting on perfume when Gavi walked in. He looked at you from head to toe with a smirk on his face.
-Are you almost ready?- He hugged you from behind leaving a quick kiss on your cheek.
-I just need to grab my purse.- you say as you walk to the bed and pick up your purse, placing your phone inside.
-Who is coming?-
-Pedri, Ansu, Ferran, and I think they were bringing Joao.- He names off his friends. You furrow your brows. -Joao Félix?- You smile.
He turned over to look at you. -Yeah, why?-
-I used to love him, when he played for Atleti. He was amazing to watch.-
Gavi pouted. -Do you still love him?- You giggled and rolled your eyes. -Pablo, you know what I mean.-
He smiled and pulled you in for a kiss.
Thirty minutes later the two of you arrived to the beach were you were going to have a bonfire. As you walked up to the crowd you greeted everyone, which were the same people you and Gavi always hung out with. At the end was Joao. He stood up and shot you a smile. You shook his hand and placed a kiss on either cheek. You felt as Ferran grabbed you by your shoulders.
-This is Y/N, Gavi’s girlfriend so don’t get any ideas.- He joked which caused you to feel your cheeks burning up. Joao laughed. -I know. I’ve seen the pictures.- He said as Gavi made his way to the three of you.
-What pictures?- Gavi hugged Joao.
-Nothing, Ferran always trying to be funny.- Joao commented.
Everyone sat down and you ended up next to Joao. The rest of the group began to talk and much of their conversation was made up of dumb inside jokes they had. You rolled your eyes when one of them made a comment and sat back on the chair. Gavi’s hand on your thigh interlocked with yours.
You turned over and caught Joao looking at you. You offered him a smile. -Are they always like this?- He asked. You shrugged your shoulders. -Dumb? I would say about 99% of the time.- He let out a giggle which weirdly made you smile.
The two of you began to talk about his time in Atleti. You letting him know you and your father were die hard Atleti fans and had followed him until he left.
-Must be a hard pill to swallow that his daughter is dating Barça’s golden boy, no?- He raised his eyebrows motioning towards Gavi. You smiled. -I don’t think he minds as long as he treats me well.- Joao smiled and the two of you continued to talk.
You laughed out loud as Joao told you a joke which caused everyone else in the group to turn around. You covered your mouth with your hand and felt as Gavi tightened his grasp on your thigh. You looked over at him questioningly and he threw you back a half smile.
Soon the rest of the group began to run towards the water. Gavi, you and Joaoa staying behind.
-Aren’t you going to go jump in too?- You asked your boyfriend. He shook his head. -I didn’t lose, they did.-
He positioned himself in front of you and discretely moved the two of you away from Joao who was just staring at the rest of the guys in disbelief.
-You want me to go jump in the water so you can stay alone with him?- He raised an eyebrow as you rolled your eyes.
-Of course, that’s all I’ve wanted all night.- You said sarcastically which pissed off Gavi. He grabbed your wrists and took a step forward, he leaned in and your lips touched. -Just so he knows you’re mine.-
As Gavi moved away from you and turned back to see his friends coming out of the water you couldn’t help but look over at Joao who was staring at you and smiled shyly.
Not long after everyone started to leave. You have Joao a kiss on either cheek as he hugged you. -Next time, bring me something from Atleti. I’ll sign it for your dad.- He smiled and you nodded.
Gavi pulled you away from the group on the way to his car but as soon as the two of you were out of view from them he let your hand go. You looked at him confused.
When you approached his car he walked straight to his door leaving you to open your own door. -Thanks.- You said sarcastically as you sat in the car and he started it. He looked at you and stayed silent.
As soon as he pulled out of the parking space he blurted out, almost as if he had been trying not to but eventually had lost the battle. -Why don’t you have Joao open the door for you?-
You laughed. -Really?-
He turned over to shoot you a deadly stare. -I don’t know what’s so funny.-
You rolled your eyes. -It’s so funny that you get like this just because I was talking to your friend.-
He scoffed. -Next time I’ll sign something for your dad.- He said mimicking Joao which caused you to laugh more. -That’s not even what he said, Gavira.-
He didn’t say anything and the rest of the drive home was silent. Part of you felt like it was better this way or the two of you would begin to fight and say things you didn’t meant. As he parked his car in front of his house you began to unbuckle your seatbelt and opened the door without waiting for him.
-Wait.- He said.
-Are you going to keep on acussing me of things I didn’t do?- You asked.
He got out of the car and ran over to open your door. He put his hand out to help you get off the car and once he closed the door he delicately pushed you onto the car.
-Look, I’m sorry.- He looked at you with puppy dog eyes. You bit your inner lip trying to hold in your laughter because you couldn’t believe he was so jealous.
-You really think I would leave you for Joao?- You questioned him. He shrugged his shoulders. -He was an Atleti, after all.- He looked down at the floor with a pout.
-Technically he still is a colchonero.- you corrected him tauntingly. He looked up at you with a smirk.
-My golden boy is worth much more than anyone else though.- You reassured him causing him to smile and leaned in for a kiss.
-I’m an idiot. I know.-
You hugged him. - I’m only letting it slide because how adorable you look when you get jealous.- You said. He gave you a smile.
-And don’t worry, you can sign something for my dad too.-

how is he supposed to contribute to the game when he barely gets to touch the ball? he’s a midfielder and hansi has him playing like lewandowski ffs
Playing like decoy Lewa just so he can create space for others and not actually do shit himself. Mind you, flick let him get much of the ball before and he did so well but now went full Xavi Mode on him. Like he got much more of the ball against Betis and Atleti and look how much he improved our game like those are still the games where we played our best football this season imo.

On the whole neighbours thing. We have a lot f neighbours, and even better l, there are categories in the continent, north, west, south, etc. (Africa and for context, I am Egyptian). You can never and I mean NEVERRR see me or anyone I know root for any other North African country, hell even our matches against any other North African country, is very stressful and sometimes even on the verge of playing mind games away from football. So I get you 1000000%
Also, I got to disagree, England are the number 1 national team I am hate watching in the Euros (especially with their “it’s coming hime” nagging since the 60s). They are so incredibly cocky it’s insane, especially with how easy and how close they were going to concede to Serbia yesterday.
As fir France, I agree on the Mbappe part, especially because he takes the spotlight from the real hero who doesn’t get enough credit for what he does, and he was the player if the tournament for 16, 18 and 22. And by that person I mean Griezmann (the man is so good and such a complete player, idk why he doesn’t get credit. Also queue me being biased since he’s the reason I follow football a lot and root for Atleti)
I'm glad to know it's not just me that will not be supporting my neighbours in sporting competitions!
To be fair, I think the whole "It's coming home" for every tournament has become more of a joke than anything else, given how they haven't won since 1966. And honestly, every country goes into, or at least should go into, international competitions cocky as hell because if they weren't cocky, they wouldn't have qualified in the first place. If you don't go into a tournament like this thinking you can win the whole thing, what's the point of even playing?
England didn't concede against Serbia, though. I've talked about this before, and almost scoring and almost winning means absolutely nothing in football. It doesn't matter how you win a game, as long as you're the team that comes out of a game having scored the most goals. You don't have to like it, but it's the reality of the sport nevertheless. France almost conceded against Austria as well, but in the end, they didn't and ended up winning the game. And as much as I would have liked for them to lose or at least draw, they didn't.
You, and everyone else, hating England is of course completely fine! I hate France the same way you guys hate England, and given how nobody can ever convince me to change my mind about that, I won't waste my energy trying to convince anyone else to change their minds about England or other teams, because hating other teams is part of the sport! Especially given how, as long as the many teams I prefer over England are still in the competition, I honestly don't care if England make it past the group stage or not. Like I've said before, they're not even in my top 5, or in my top 10. So a lot of teams will have to get knocked out for me to start hoping England will win. And even if it gets to that point (which I really fucking hope doesn't happen), I won't be rooting for the entire team. God knows England has quite a few players I absolutely loathe and I want to see those players crash and burn in every way possible. But there are also players I genuinely love (Trent Alexander Arnold, Joe Gomez) and players I like (Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice). So should it get to a point where England is the only team I can support, for example, if they were to meet France in the final, then yeah, let's fucking go, England!
I'm not a huge fan of Griezmann either, but I much prefer him to Mbappé and he is a far more complete player. But you can't tell me you're surprised he doesn't get the credit he deserves because players like him never do. Strikers who score lots of goals will always get the credit, and it doesn't matter how much or how little they contribute elsewhere, or how dependent they might be on another player setting them up for goals and how they become invisible if that player isn't out there doing all the work for them, because the goals are all that matter. This has always been the case and will always continue to be the case in football.

Joao felix is so interesting to me and not in a good way. I hate players that are talented but never actual show it on the pitch and at the same think somehow think they’re better than everyone else. I laughed so much when he got sent off on his chelsea debut
It's an example to show kids as in a "what not to do". I feel mostly pity, to be honest. But he's a big boy who can deal with the consequences of his acts. I'm done babying him.
I feel we mostly hear about those who destroy their careers for partying a bit too much and similar. And everyone is like "what a shame". But I don't know, my parents raised me to always work hard so seeing someone waste opportunities because they refuse to work is almost more offensive that the other ones. And no matter how many Portuguese or Benficers (Bernardo included, mind your own business or I'll tell Rúben to slap you harder) say that his mistake was signing for my team, that lie doesn't work anymore. Three different managers at Chelsea sent him to the bench, a fourth didn't even want him, the Portugal manager has benched him too and we know how Xavi never even wanted him. And his first decision now that he's on "I'm dead, might as well do whatever the fuck I want and not what the president says" mode was...benching him!
But it's never his fault. Ok 👍 literally gave up at Atleti because he was jealous about world champion Antoine Griezmann being the manager's favourite. Says it all.

Do you have some recommendations for shows or documentaries to watch? I need something to tide me over until football starts again 😂
Sports ones or normal ones?
Sports: captains of the world (Netflix), Man City’s treble (Netflix), FC Barcelona: A new era (Amazon prime), Atleti: another way of living (Amazon prime), Matildas doc (Disney+)
Regular: Money Heist, Grace and Frankie, Madam Secretary, Elite, Criminal Minds, Luther.
I haven’t watched them yet but I also have Presumed Innocent and the Apple TV Messi doc on my to watch list.

Barça v Atleti
In my humble opinion:
- Lewa should have been subbed out instead of Ferran
- You can see the difference in attack once Pedri was brought in for that second half
- Griez and Alvaro are magic together and we honestly have to thank TerStegen for his saves
- I almost died thinking Pedri had gotten injured again
- The amount of fouls that weren’t called for Gavi pisses me off.
- Pedri is magic on the pitch. You cannot change my mind.
