I still have her book! How she encourage variety of character traits to avoid same face syndrome is kinda cool

YAYAYA so true!! Even though her style was heavily influenced by 90′s anime, I totally remember how she drew examples of different nose, jaw and eye shapes

I’ve yet to watch the newer series and, sadly, haven’t watched a lot of the older anime, either. I’ve read the manga, though. For the manga, I like House of Wax, The Opera House Murders (the first one I ever read), and The Undying Butterflies a lot. Just reread Smoke and Mirrors recently, which was also great.

The semi-weird thing is that it wasn’t frustrating like this until I started doing late 20′s/early 30′s training tower. Sometimes it is about being put on a bad map, like that one with all the indestructible walls that many a person has had to fight teams of 4 takumis on, but I don’t think you can attribute not being able to even scratch something you have both a level and type advantage on to bad level design. idk, maybe I’m just more frustrated since it’s 3:30am
