2024 is a special year for all Digimon Adventure fans as this is the year our favourite series turns 25 years old! This means that Yamato and Mimi, as well as Mimato has now been around for more than two decades which is worth a celebration lasting a full month.

Mimatoctober or Mimato Month is dedicated to the entire fandom for always sticking around and keeping the ship alive and active, despite the highs and lows. The prompt list consists of some new and some old prompts, taking inspiration from the previous editions of Mimato Week.

After arguing with his stepfather he ran into the forest, he couldn't stand living with his mother and that horrible abusive man anymore, he walked for so long that he ended up lost, the snow began to fall and from one moment to the next he lost consciousness, when he woke up a beautiful girl looked at him tenderly.

The blond felt the cold hands of the girl with a singing voice on his face, she was pretty she couldn't be bad, he held her arms and stood up, they took their hands and walked further into the forest, Yamato turned his head back seeing his own inert body pulling in the snow.

I think that if I can't bring myself to write and post by November, I'll `most likely not be writing until next year.

This year the whole process of writing and posting what I alone enjoy has made me feel lonelier than ever so I think that it's slipping away from my priorities list. Lots of important things coming up on the personal front as well, especially I think Dec-March is just going to be a whirlwind for me.

Strawberry Kisses and Pieces of You and Me were the two fics I was really hoping to make progress in during this year (hopefully mark the first one as complete) but that doesn't seem likely and the TyHil content I've been continuously writing for the past few months is something I don't want to post online.

So keeping my fingers crossed for October and November, otherwise April 2025 doesn't seem too far away either in retrospect.

"Felicidades por el bebé" es lo que le decían todos a Mimi en esa fiesta de militares (las únicas fechas libres que tenían para pasarla en familia porque después volverían a sus actividades del cuartel).

A Matt le alegraba ver como los ojos de Mimi brillaban con emoción al responder cuántas semanas llevaba de embarazo pero no fué hasta que la conversación con la esposa de un alto militar que la situación se torno algo incómoda y fue debido a que la señora le explicaba a sus nietos menores como era que los bebés "aparecen mágicamente" en el vientre de la mamá sin romperles su burbuja de inocencia, mientras que uno de sus nietos de al menos 13 años se reía de como sus hermanos creían que podrían encargar un bebé por "semillas" tomadas que claramente no "fueron tomadas" por la boca sino Mimi no hubiera terminado embarazada.

Y lo que detonó más su vergüenza de la pareja fue cuando dijeron que solo llevaban 4 semanas de embarazo, a lo que el militar les dijo "ah entonces Ishida no perdió el tiempo hace un mes cuando le pedí que saliera a dejarme unos papeles a la oficina del gobierno" y la risa del nieto mayor no se hizo esperar al entender a lo que se refería mientras sus hermanos menores no entendían y como niños curiosos que son preguntaban a su abuela a que se refería el abuelo.

Mientras tanto Matt estaba que se moría de la vergüenza además de haber revelado por error y sin querer cuando fué la concepción (y odiar que su comandante tenía muy buena memoria para recordar justo esa fecha de salida y hacer cuentas para dar con la verdad).

Con una sonrisa nerviosa Mimi trataba de aparentar que no aprovechaba esas pequeñas salidas de su novio al exterior para "pasar casualmente" unos minutos con su querido novio porque lo extrañaba demasiado ❤️
