Yep! If I can get away with it! If selling online (for a limited time) looks iffy, I'll print for conventions and see what I can do -- But I'd HATE for Infested to be convention-only physicals.

What was your main inspiration for Dr. Yu, was there someone who inspired you from Irl or Archie?

the horrifying answer to this is that he was inspired by nothing and no one. That nightmare man seemed to have come to me in a dream.

I had probably the weirdest dream about living in a world where Infested was a official side comic sponsored by Sega, it would have spin offs and different PoVs, Ivan had his own mini series that takes place during the events of the story in his PoV. All his story was warped just from the chapter/issue 2 cover in my mind 😭. Going to be honest, Ivan seems pretty chill to be around. 💀

(Thought I should ask if you have had any nightmares or dreams about infested, from a "in person" pov or a author pov)

I've never had in-person pov dreams of my stories, but I do sometimes daydream from certain characters' perspectives specific scenes while i'm tryna figure out the best way to do em in my head. Does that count?

Dont want this to be a waste of time but I'm gonna yell it out for most of these people bothering you lately

ITS A 17+ HORROR COMIC. Not expecting Gore or gruesome deaths is actually some crazy level of ignorance someone could have (trust me I've seen a lot of it) so if you hate with a passion your character dying, I got advice

1. Leave the comic alone

2. Write your own

3. Watch the actual source material if you hate characters dying for a story, trust me Sega would not let your fav character die

4. Don't bother the creator they have better things to do, its good to critic it but thats why theres a comment (notes) section, instead of bothering them with the literal ASK option.

And 5. this being a horror comic, and you finding out Sonic's best friend is dead, expect it to have a purpose in the story way beyond just "shock value"

Ever heard of the phrase "Let them cook" think and use it and trust me it will turn out great for ya when reading :)

All good points, all good points, though I will also contest your fourth point a bit: I think critiques should only be given to people actually asking for them. My goal right now isn't to practice and improve my art/storytelling, my primary objective here is to just tell the story. There will be other times for the former -- And the same idea can be extended, of course, to literally any other creator.

Anyway, yeah, as you said and as I've said before: Tails Was Not Killed For Shock Value. There Is A Purpose.

Even with 2 weeker pages, how do you manage your time on writing/scripting and drawing, coloring, and rendering pages. I'm susprised you managed those 2 in one week. How do you manage both writing and drawing?

I break up my work into time slots! Helps a lot! Until 4pm I work on non-Infested work, then I switch to working on the latest Infested page until 9pm, and then while in bed I'll work on the script.

Sometimes, though, I work on the script in the early morning or on breaks. That one's kinda a "when inspiration strikes" sorta dealio -- Esp these days when I am SO far ahead in the script that I don't have to worry for a very long time about the comic catching up to it.

If this were to be animated and voiced by sega, what scene (from what we have seen so far lol) would you want to be animated, and who would voice Shadow and Sonic?

Well, I wish I could say but unfortunately the scenes I'd REAAAALLLY want animated would be one that hasn't been turned into a comic page.

For those who know (my ascended members): Chapter 2 Pages 44-47 & Chapter 5 Pages 4-8 are two scenes I would REALLY love to see animated. With Sonic and Shadow voiced by Jason Griffith ofc.

There's also another scene coming up that I haven't scripted yet at all that would be like, one of the big huge exciting scenes I wanna do so bad that I'd die to see animated. But we'll get there.

So, if Sonic's character is based on Archie and fleetway, the what would Shadow's be, he does act a lot like his Archie self but you got anymore inspiration for the personality of the edge-lord himself?

Oh, Shadow's just 100% Archie Shadow in this comic. I'd say "he's the only version of Shadow that got closure" but ever since Shadow Generations, that's simply not true anymore.

Archie Shadow is a bit softer and a bit more sad than Game Shadow, but he's also willing to smile more. He's Very Complex. He's just trying to do the right thing in the most direct way possible at all times but constantly butts heads with his own self doubt and confusion about what IS right. What IS best for everyone. I like him the way he is and I hope I can do him justice.

Ok I know you maybe can't confirm this but I wanted to ask anyway, if Sonic and Shadow had 2 chaos emeralds or they were super, can't they go back in time to stop the infestation(ik this ruins story but its a thought) I dont know the biology of the parasite either but would it die due to the heat or power from their super forms?(Ps love the comics, cant wait anymore for tmrw)

I think I answered before that a super form could probably kill the host of the Mobian undergoing that super form. I wouldn't expect all the Chaos Emeralds to show up in this story, however. Or more than one, even.

And with that said, I don't even think the Time Travel With Two Chaos Emeralds thing was even really truly a thing in Archie Sonic. Thank god for that, too, because do you know how easy that would make solving every single problem? Antoine's in a coma? Oh! Just undo it with time travel! The Great War? More like The Great No-More!

I don't like time travel for a lot of reasons, but my biggest reason is "the concept of free time travel means any conflict can be immediately solved. Just kill Baby Hitler."

Wanted to say, you have inspired me a lot these past few months, I had ideas for my own shadow comic and just reading your gave me the boost to know that Shadow doesnt always have to be a silent type. After going through my editing history, it turns out it took A LITTLE OVER A YEAR to write all of Chapter 1. Started Jan 2nd 2023 and ended Feb 29th 2024.

But i think this is a good one, Is the parasite inspired by the fungi from The Last of Us(if you dont know what that is, basically a fungi with the same take over someones mind thing and reminded me of your parasite) and I see that it slowly changes a person, and the parasite seems to also be able to do that but I wondering, is it only 1 per host or does it reproduce inside the host having multiple at once inside the body?

Nope, not at all inspired by the fungi from TLOU! The parasite's effects on her host are inspired by the Rage Virus from 28 Days Later and Las Plagas from RE4.

While inside her host, her main goal is to sustain herself for long enough to fully mature. She won't begin reproducing (via parthenogenesis) until that point, and only begins to do so after she's ingested enough nutrients.
