Full story summarized: Got into contact with their Editor-In-Chief, showed him A Tiger's Tail (my family friendly comic), he liked it, said he'd pass my work along to the Sonic comic team and they'd review my stuff...

... And then the Editor-In-Chief dipped from IDW, got replaced with a new guy, and my whole situation there fell through an inescapable crack. I tried contacting the new guy to explain my situation and got ghosted.

Seeing as no one from IDW's Sonic team reached out, I can safely say I got rejected.

EDIT: if ANYONE harasses ANYONE from IDW about this I'm gonna be blocking you over it. Absolutely not okay. Saying this now just in case it becomes a problem later.

How many hours do you work on Infested per week compared to other projects?

Infested is my only project, and I work on it for around ~63 hours per week (I work all 7 days, 8am to 9pm with a lunch and dinner break)!

sorry if this was already asked but I wanted to ask if once "Infested" ends would you sell physical copies of the series for a limited time or a volume of it? Just a thought that came to mind lol

Yep! If I can get away with it! If selling online (for a limited time) looks iffy, I'll print for conventions and see what I can do -- But I'd HATE for Infested to be convention-only physicals.

So I believe you answered this a while ago but can't seem to find it, wanted to ask. When does Infested take place? I do know its after Unleashed but would that mean after or before the Genesis wave reboot? And if so does it take place after Mecha Sally or does it not happen?

Sorry long question but my Archie lovin butt got too curious LOL

So here's the thing: The games up until post-Unleashed are canon, but Infested's Mobius is kinda a Schrödinger's Cat situation of both being pre and post SGW. It's a combination of a lot of different little elements, and some characters are missing, and others have been added in, and basically what I'm saying is:

Don't get too focused on where in Archie's timeline Infested exists, because it exists outside of that timeline. It has to be, considering this is a version of that universe in which Sonic, Tails, and Amy never became Freedom Fighters, Hope Kintobor doesn't exist, and Uncle Chuck is nothing more than a chili sauce brand mascot.

The game characters are, in summary, fairly decoupled from the Archie Sonic characters. They needed to be more isolated for this.

So far lovin the "Infested" playlist but just to make sure, its mainly for the entire story so far right? Or theres a playlist per chapter? (Dont think so, but curiosity infested a hedgehog's brain with a bug so can never be too sure lol)

The playlist is actually for the full complete story! Even if the comic is not fully scripted yet! Make of that what you will!
