I just wanted to send in another ask because I love this vn so much and I've replayed it so many times that I even play it with friends to see what ending they get.

That's enough rambling on my part, I just wanted to know how the Milos will treat Eris's family, siblings and all (no this is totally not to fuel my version of Eris's family ofcourse not). Same thing as my ask about Eris and their sibling relationship, how would Milo feel about Eris's family if they were just as offputting as their lover?

Hmm, I think it would depend on exactly what way they’re off putting, I guess. I think Pre Milo would want to make a good impression to his future in-laws, so he’d do his best to make them happy with his usual tactics of basically trying to please them. Even if they are kind of strange… he just wants to make Eris happy for their future… right?

Violence Milo would probably be on his haunches the entire time. Even if it was their love’s family, who knows if they might turn against them. The only reason he’s here, no, the only reason he exists is to protect Eris. He would act nice enough but he’s not that good at hiding his feelings, so he will likely be glaring the entire time.

Manipulation Milo on the other hand is simply over the moon. A meeting, with his future in-laws?? He couldn’t be happier, Eris is basically asking for his hand in marriage!! No matter how off putting their family might be, he could finally learn even more about Eris. More, more, more! He would have every detail memorized�� He would be a very great guest, having perfected everything that he believes would make Eris’s family happy.

Well, if you’re really insistant, I’m sure Eris would take you if, some way, somehow, Milo died or… disappeared. But I mean, nobody would do something like that to him… right?

So, the setup; most of the events of Micoverse re: the backstory and setup proceed the same (except of course for Yuna being Canon™️ but obviously but that's neither here nor there). The big point of divergence is when Milo and Cody go to the Parker House; there's no big dramatic recording of the numbers. As far as they know, it's a bust, even as they desperately comb over the audio to hear something- anything. Tegan, who had been eavesdropping for her original reason (that romantic star-crossed adopted lovers story won't write itself!), and she cocks an eyebrow at the two as they despair and give her the usual 'go away we're not in the mood' spiel.

"I don't know why you were expecting to hear anything but a few numbers, but don't take it out on me, jeez."

"... huh?"

"Yeah; 2, 0, 0, 9. It's scratchy, but it's there."

"... Tegan... there's nothing there. It's just static."

"Oh ha ha, very funny."

"We're not joking."

Something about their unnerved gaze gives her pause.

This is how it starts.

I feel like in this situation she'd be at least a little believed, if only because hearing ghosts is cool and it's not as sensitive of a situatuon
