shoutout to millipedes and centipedes for sorting their vibes out so efficiently. one of them is a small slow shy gentle friend and one of them is BITING YOU BITING YOU BITING YOU BITING YOU BITING YOU and when you look at them you can instantly tell
#as a spider enthusiast far be it for me to slander centipedes I'm sure they're lovely creatures in their own way#this is mostly about me as a child wanting to pick up millipedes all the time and wanting NOTHING TO DO with centipedes#and then growing up and learning that centipedes do in fact bite and many species are in fact venomous#thank you for communicating that to me so clearly when I was six#millipedes and centipedes are like a textbook example of friend shaped vs villain coded creature design#it's honestly really funny to me like--#you see one of those giant bright red centipedes that are extremely dangerous and it's like 'okay isn't this a BIT heavy handed??'
