 Snippets: Holy Fit

There is no argument that this year’s most highly anticipated feature is Holy Fit. It’s no surprise that all eyes were on Fit, it’s been 6 years since the release of ‘Stay Fit�� and within that time span there has been a lot of team changes and brand re-booting. People want to see what the new Fit is about and in my opinion there is still no better outlet for that then a full length. One thing you will notice about Holy Fit is the wide variety. Park, street, dirt, are all well represented. Hell, some of Florent Soulas clips could even be considered flatland. Even the line up consists of seasoned veterans, up and comers, and today’s biggest names. Fit doesn’t seem to favor one or the other. Some of the pro team members have only a few clips while a few flow team members have full sections. It’s refreshing to see riders who haven’t been given much spotlight be part of a project of this magnitude. One of those names being Jordan Hango, the rider spotlighted in the Snippets above. Jordan definitely solidified his name coming out of Holy Fit. He tackles some incredible setups with relative ease. His riding is simple but fast and burly, an atavism to prior generations before him. DID YOU SEE THE CLIPS I PUT UP!? Plus there is a double peg to second stage x-up ice in there.  As for the pro riders, Van Fucking Homan. Even though it’s a cliche, words truly don’t do it justice… but since I’m in trying to get you to buy this video with my words, I’ll just say this is his best section since Criminal Mischief. For the older cats that remember it, the second to last clip will give you the biggest nostalgia trip. VAN FUCKING HOMAN! The editing is clean and the music timeless, it’s definitely has the signature Stew Johnson feel that we all come to enjoy. No frills or gimmicks. The riding is consistently good every section and never misses a beat. The book/DVD cover is definitely a collector’s piece filled with photos showing the process behind ‘Holy Fit’. Only complaint is that some seasoned pros didn’t have full sections but that opened up for newer pros to show us what they got. This video is the must have item of this year. VAN FUCKING HOMAN!
