I woke up to Charlie's arms wrapped around my waist, our legs were entangled and my head resting against his chest. I could hear his heartbeat.

We won last night's game and my legs are aching, Coach Orion kept me on the ice the whole game. We won 6 - 2 and the whole team was going out for Pizza to celebrate. I looked at Charlie's alarm clock and it showed 10:30.

I carefully tried to untangle myself without waking up my sleeping boyfriend. I slid out from under his grip and stood up. He started to stir and I was scared that I woke him up. He turned over and settled down.

I looked through the overnight bag that I had packed to stay In Charlie's.

Denim shorts and a red tank top with a black and white flannel to go over it.

Then I thought of a better idea, I walked over to Charlie's wardobe and opened the door. His green Duck's jersey was hanging up on a hanger. I took it down, grabbed my bag and went into the bathroom to get changed.

Charlie's P.O.V

I woke up at 11 and immediately noticed that y/n wasn't there. Instead, there was a note on my bedside table.

I'm going to Connie's before we go for food, love you

Is it weird that just seeing her handwriting made me blush? Ok it's probably a little weird.

I got up and brushed my teeth. I decided that I would wear my green Duck's jersey because we won.

I ruffled my hair in the mirror and opened my wardrobe. My white jersey was there but not my green one. It can't be in the wash beacause I haven't worn it in like a week. I can't ask my Mom either because she has already left for work.

"Odd, where is it?" I thought but didn't think much about it and put my white jersey on with a pair of jeans.

I knocked on the door of Connie's house and her Mom answered the door.

"Oh hello y/n. How are you sweetie?" she asked and let me in.

"I'm doing great, my legs are a bit sore after last night's game but that's alright. Where is Connie?" I said.

"Oh she's up in her room dear," She said and went into the kitchen.

I ran up the stairs and could hear 'About a Girl' by Nirvana being blared from Connie's room.

I knocked on the door snd she told me to come in.

When I walked in she looked at me confused and said "Why is your j- WAIT... Turn around."

I turned around and Connie started laughing. "Look at you! Soon to be Mrs. Conway," she joked.

"haha I wish. I just stole his jersey," I giggled and sat down.

"You guys are so cute I cannot deal. So how was your sleepover? Did you..." she raised an eyebrow.

I threw a pillow at her "NO! Connie, god. We just watched a movie,"

Connie laughed "Ok, ok... Sure you did,"

I stayed in Connie's for an hour or two before heading to Tommy's Pizzaria.

I was walking to Tommy's with Goldberg around 2 and talking about y/n.

"Dude, you never shut up about her. I understand why though, she is hot. Let's say if you... Mysteriously break up for some unknown reason. Can I have her?" Goldberg asked, which made me laugh.

"Haahha I hope you're not planning to kill me now Goldie... And It's bold of you to assume that she would want you," I winked.

"Well yanno I am irresistible," Goldberg flexed his non-existent muscles.

We walked in and the bell rang above us. I looked around for the team and saw them with 2 big tables pulled beside each other. Everyone was there except Goldberg and I.

I saw y/n sitting down, deep in conversation with Fulton. She was wearing her green jersey but It seemed a little big on her. I looked again and realised that she was acctually wearing my jersey.

It looked great on her though. Of course it was a bit big but... right yanno. It might have been that the name Conway was plastered across her back. It showed everyone that she was with me and it made me think about how good Y/n Conway sounded.

I could feel my face getting hot. Goldberg noticed what y/n was wearing beacause he nudged me.

"Nevermind, doesn't look like she'll be leaving you anytime soon," he winked and went to sit beside Julie.

Y/n looked up and her eyes lit up when she saw me,she beckoned me over to sit on the seat next to her.

I sat down and kissed her on the cheek, and whispered in her ear" So that's where my jersey went."

This training is voluntary so they don’t must. And on this day Adam says that he can’t go to the training. The others are surprised because Adam never missed a training but he had a good reason that he doesn’t come. He want to meet his girlfriend in the park. Adam never tell his team that he had a girlfriend because y/n is afraid about meeting them. In the Park they are lean against a tree and their booth get touchy so they kiss each other. But than the ducks come and see the two…. for the rest you can freestyle

•Warning’s• Kissing, Fluff, comfort sort of, bad grammar and spelling. •Summary• Your Adams girlfriend and have been for the past year but the team doesn’t know so what happens when the team finds you and Adam cuddling in the park. •AN• This is set during the second movie when they are training in Minneapolis. Also sorry it’s short I’m also work on the first part of the ‘Sisters’ series. Isn’t writers block great.

You were waiting for your boyfriend Adam at the park. You were sitting up against a tree with your eyes closed you knew it would take a while because he had hockey training but it didn’t bother you and you decided to come down early since it was a nice day.You and Adam had been dating for about a year and everything was great between you too but the thing is, Adams hockey team still didn’t know about you two. You had asked Adam to keep it a secret because you were scared of how they would react. These were Adams best friends and you were scared that they wouldn’t like you and then Adam would agree. Even though Adam had constantly assured you that they would love you and even if they didn’t he still would.

As you were sitting against the tree sun shining on your face you felt an arm wrap around your shoulders and a light kiss on the temple. You look to your left seeing your boyfriend sending him a small smile which he returned. He placed a small kiss on your hair as you leaned on his shoulder. “I thought you couldn’t come down until later” you said snuggling into his side as you wrap your arms around his middle.

“Training is optional so I decided to come down early and wait for you. Seems you had the same idea” he said tucking your head under his chin. You and Adam sat like this for about 5 minutes before the peaceful silence was interrupted by a group of kids and it wasn’t until they spoke that you realized who they where.

“Look Cake eater has a girl.” One said as the all skated over to you you looked up to see Adam giving you an apologetic look. “So Adam who’s the girl” another asked the others nodding and agreeing with the question. Adam looks at you as if silently asking if you were ready to tell them and you sent a small nod keeping you glaze down. You knew there was no point in lying they caught you cuddling they probably already assumed that you two were dating besides they would have found out eventually so there was no point in hiding anymore.

“This is Y/N, my girlfriend.” He slightly hesitated before saying the second part. They didn’t really seemed to fazed by it and you guessed that they knew something was going on with Adam because he never missed practice optional or not. After Adam introduced you to all of the team they decided they would sit down with you despite Charlie’s protest.

“So this is why you missed practice?” Charlie asked.

“Shut up, your Just jealous you don’t have a girlfriend” Adam retorted.

hii!! I was wondering if we can get some of your charlie/fulton hcs, or just about them in general. I saw on your fulton rarepairs post that they were one of your pairs and i’d love to hear more on what you have to say about them (bc you didn’t get to in the post) bc I really love them and their paring.

omg absolutely!! sorry, i've totally abandoned tumblr because of school commitments and stuff so i hope this ask isn't too old lmao. but anyway, here are some of my hcs for them!! they're one of my favorite pairs ever and i'm honestly very surprised that more people don't ship them.

i've always said that i think they're childhood friends. i think i posted something about it a long time ago and then proceeded to not elaborate on it, but i always thought that fulton's home life wasn't great and so he was kind of allowed (or forced) to wander minneapolis/stillwater just to get out of the house. i did the math at one point and realized that the diner that casey works at is kind of in-between the heart of minneapolis and stillwater, so it wouldn't be insane to think that fulton might have ended up at the diner a lot as a kid. i think he and casey became 'friends' first (casey practically adopted him) and then when casey brought charlie to the diner because she didn't have anyone to watch him, they became fast friends

their friendship started off so well because fulton was extremely shy and charlie could talk to a brick wall and make good conversation, so charlie didn't really expect anything from fulton and fulton has no problem sitting and listening and retaining information from stories and stuff. that's kind of how their relationship works too lmao. charlie's always talking about random things and his wikipedia deep dives and hockey stats and fulton will definitely talk back if he has something to say, but sometimes charlie just needs a sounding board and fulton is more than happy to be that for him (and charlie is very impressed with all the random stuff fulton remembers just because charlie's the one that told him)

fulton's had a crush on charlie since they were in peewees. i don't think they were still super close when fulton joined the ducks, but they definitely still spoke to each other in class and stuff, and fulton joining sparked their friendship (and fulton's feelings for charlie) again. it's a super cute puppy-love kind of crush, and fulton has absolutely no clue how to deal with it lol. it's also definitely why fulton was watching the D5 games before he ever joined the team, and why he was so ready to fight the hawks the second he had the opportunity.

they definitely have one of those relationships where most people can't even tell if they're best friends or dating. they don't really do PDA (other than charlie laying on him like a cat, which he also does with a lot of people), and 'dude' is their main term of endearment in public lol.

casey LOVES fulton so much it's insane. charlie jokes that when they come home for breaks, she's more excited to see fulton than she is to see him and hes right

charlie is exactly 3 inches taller than fulton and it pisses fulton off to NO END. charlie knows this and definitely teases him about it.

i think once charlie bulks up a bit (probably like junior/senior year) they get to a point where they can wear each other's clothes and then just. never stop. at this point they don't even know who's clothes originally belonged to who anymore.

their first kiss happens after a game where charlie got injured and fulton felt so bad that he couldn't do anything about it that he's fussing over charlie in the locker room afterwards and bumbling his way through apologizes and charlie just. kisses him to shut him up as a funny haha joke but then realizes how fulton reacted to it and is like "oh shit this is actually A Thing"

they don't do PDA but they're all over each other the second they're alone. both of them have definitely made the other one irish goodbye at multiple events just so they can go home and make out and cuddle

— fulton has two younger sisters, dean has two older brothers and a younger sister (I stole the dean one from charlie) (but I thought he had siblings beforehand).

— they are the ones that started the rumors within the ducks that Orion was a drill sergeant, Averman needs a night light still, and that charlie doesn’t shower for months. They giggle about them to themselves all the time (then they found out the charlie one was real, and dean relentlessly bullies charlie (they have a love hate friendship).

— fulton is narcoleptic (looks at Charlie cause I love taking hcs from him since they are so real 🙁)

— they will jump in puddles, and step on leaves together and act like children while doing it.

— dean bought fulton a star one Christmas and fulton forever feels indebted to him because of it (probably the most romantic thing dean has ever done for him).

— the way the ducks found out they got engaged was at a reunion party , while dean was super drunk and he started talking about how he can’t wait to be married to fulton and how handsome he’s gonna look, 6 and a half months after the engagement 😭. They just kinda forgot.

— they’ve lived together in Minnesota since fulton dropped out of college sophomore year.

— out of every couple in the ducks, they are the ones that have been told “get a room” the most. At first, everyone thought it would be chadam, then you put these two together and they are non-stop flirting and being all cute. 🙄

Coach Orion had just stormed out of the locker room. He just gave us a speech about 'getting higher than a C' and 'clearing out of the locker room in 15 minutes'. I could tell that my boyfriend Charlie was getting more pissed off by the second.

"Hey look, coach posted our positions," Connie said and pointed at the newly-added page to the bulletin board.

After watching an outraged Goldberg be very dramatic about being benched, Dwane pointed something out.

"It says Captain: T.B.D, who's tbd?" he asked.

"It means 'to be determined'" Julie said and the whole team turned to look at Charlie.

Forty five minutes later I was lying on Charlie's bed with my Physics book. He was quiet the whole walk to his apartment. Charlie was in the shower so I was getting a headstart on my homework.

Then the shower stopped and a couple minutes later, Charlie stormed in. He has a pair of black sweatpants on, with no shirt, a towel around his neck and wet hair.

"He cant change the captain! I've been captain for four years! What's his problem anyway? He can't- y/n? Hey are you listening to me?" He asked.

I was not, in fact listening to him. Instead I was staring at his muscular stomach and fighting the urge to kiss him but let's pretend that I was listening.

I looked up at Charlie's face "uhh yeah, I'm listening. You hate Coach's guts and it's fucking outrageous that he's even considering replacing you as captain." Lucky guess?

He walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed, he threw a t-shirt on. Which, I'm not going to lie, I was a little bit disappointed about.

"It's just," he sighs "with that shitty school and the new coach not cutting us any slack, I really don't need that right now." He had his head in my lap at this point and I was playing with his hair.

"I know, I know honey. But getting mad at the coach isn't gonna help that. And hey, it said 'To be determined' and not 'any one but Charlie is getting chosen' so you might get your C back," this made him laugh.

"I love you darling," He sits up and kisses me.

"IloveyoutoobutIwouldloveyoumoreifyoutookyourshirtoff," I mumbled against his lips.

He chuckles and takes his shirt off. I press my lips to his and I passionately kissed him for a solid 5 minutes. Only pulling away to breath and make him do some homework so he doesn't get kicked off the team.

“hey earth to Adam,” Charlie said while following his gaze to see his eyes landing on a girl with Y/H/C and Y/E/C. “You got a girl in the crowd cake eater?”

“what?.. oh um n-no I don’t. Don’t know why you would even think that.” Adam retorted. “oh.. so that girl with the Y/H/C and Y/E/C over there isn’t who you where just looking at?” Charlie questioned with a smirk on his face knowing Adam was hiding something from the team.

“can you just drop this we have a game to win!” Adam said annoyed that Charlie wouldn’t leave him alone. “Ok, ok” Charlie responded.

After the game Adam went to the locker room and quickly got changed and grabbed his bag before Charlie could bother home about the girl again.

“ummm.. where is he going” Connie asked watching as Adam basically ran out of the room. “I don’t know- Probably has something to do with that girl he was staring at during the game” Charlie replied while sitting down and taking off his pads. “WAIT WHAT GIRL?” The team all asked at once. “There was a girl in the crowd… Y/H/C, Y/E/C, Y/S/C- he couldn’t take his eyes off of her the entire time he was off the ice.” Charlie said explaining the conversation the two boys had, had when they where both off the ice.

“Now that you mentioned it I’ve been seeing that girl at a lot of our games.” Guy said while zipping up his bag. “You guys don’t think cake eater has a secret girlfriend?” Jesse said it took two seconds before the whole locker room was filled with laughter.

••• “Hey there you are I was waiting for you” you said he just hummed in response while throwing his arm over you shoulders pulling you into him as you started to walk. “Is everything ok” you add on seeing his expression.

“yeah… I’ve been thinking maybe it’s time I told the team. I mean we’ve been dating for two years and they still haven’t found out” he said before pressing a kiss to your temple.

“ok” you responded causing him to look at you confused. “What- you’re the one who asked is I wanted to tell the team” you said while resting your head on his shoulder and continued to walk.

••• It was the next day and the team had the day off but had decided to go to the frozen lake to just skate around but when they arrived they saw Adam teaching a girl to skate who Charlie said was the girl he saw in the crowd.

•you and Adam’s POV• “I thought you said that you knew how to skate he said holding onto your arms while skating backwards and pulling you alone.

“noooo…. I said that I had skated before and it hurt” you said try to balance yourself. Adam looked over your shoulder to see the rest of the team tying their skates.

“wait here, I’ll be right back” he said before letting go of your arms and skating to his friends leaving you in the middle of the frozen lake. “Wha- Adam!” You said but he was already to far away.

“hey guys what are you doing here?” He asked not knowing that they would be here today. “Just came to skate maybe play a game of hockey. So… Adam who’s that girl over there?” Charlie said looking at you. Who had tried to skate to the edge but had fallen and was now just sitting with your legs crossed waiting for Adam to return.

“Shit YN!” Adam said remembering that you can’t skate. Adam skated back out to you and helped you up before helping you skate back to the edge of the lake.

“Everyone this is YN my girlfriend” Adam said holding your hand.

“I KNEW IT!” Connie and Julie yelled together and held out their hands as the rest of the group handed over money.

“Wait what- you guys had a bet based off what?” Adam asked looking at the group “based off of that girl who was always at our games, and wether or not you two where a thing or not” guy explained.

“wait… so you guys don’t think I was able to get a girlfriend?” Adam asked mildly offended. “Sorry cake eater” Charlie said giving Julie the money.
