That post is obviously about normie US conservatives.

But an interesting comment about the leftist varieties of might-makes-right and nihilism: saw an amazing Twitter thread that said the new translation of "ego and his own", which is now called "the unique and his property" catches a GINORMOUS tiny error from the really popularized printing in English.

It was last week and I failed to dig it up because twitter's search is terrible, but it was a comment on property rights that basically stripped them down to whether you're strong enough to defend your property.

But in the prior translation, one or two words made it sound like a value statement: ie property ought to be derived from strength

In the new translation, it looks like a fact statement: we live in a world in which it seems "property derived from strength" is the case.

I don't doubt that confusions like this contributed meaningfully to peoples' relationships w mightmakesrightism, over the years. Reminds me of arguing w @crematedadolescent (Some of you have been on Tumblr long enough to remember that really smart nietzschean who ended up nazi), over nuances in nietzsche and stirner which were possibly translation disputes! A sharp reminder of how at the mercy of translators we are, particularly the notoriously illiterate and uncivilized anglos.
