COMING MAY 12th to Tamarah's Closet for a LIVE INTERVIEW, alternative rock band Mightier Than Me will be joining me! I had the pleasure of meeting this band, back at the GTCC Fall Ensemble and also attending their Listening Party for their New CD. It was there, that I interviewed them for an article for Everything Music magazine as well as photographed them for February/March Cover. They are an extremely talented group of musicians/singers so make sure you SAVE THE DATE! They also were great fun to photograph! It's always a pleasure and JOY to spend time with people who are ON FIRE with passion for their dream! Still more great talented guests coming to Tamarah's Closet so STAY TUNED!!! Artist Desmond O'Hagan will be joining me from Denver, Colorado on April 21st. He has long been considered one of the leading urbanscape artists in the world. In the field, he has won many major awards for his artwork – including: Southwest Art Magazine's Award of Excellence, International Assoc. of Pastel Societies' Prix'd Pastel Award, IAPS Juried Show's The Maggie Price Award for Excellence. Artist Karen Hollingsworth, whom I discovered in The Art Collector Magazine will be joining me Aprtil 28th from Atlanta, Georgia. Karen is known for her dreamlike arrangements of subject matter. Through the artist's careful selection, her subjects "speak" to one another and to the viewer in unique and unusual ways. Electric Rock band Mightier Than Me will be joining me May 12th in Tamarah's Closet! I met Mightier Than Me at the GTCC Fall Ensemble last year, and had the pleasure of getting to know them in an interview for Everything Music Magazine, as well as photographing them for the Cover. I had the best time photographing rock band "Mightier Than Me" yesterday! Turk is always my "stand-in" test model-actor" before I shoot! Of course he thinks he is the REAL talent of the day, and often he is the REAL comedian showing off for attention, for sure! I have been going through the pics and got some really great shots of Mightier Than Me. They are a good looking and talented group of young musicians! Nice as can be as well!
