This week the incorrect quotes of Microft start! I'm going to focus mainly on their relationship with Sherlock. I love the Holmes brothers.

I have a theory that Mycroft, being forced to work in the government as a "punishment" from their ancestor, let Sherlock be as free as possible, from his experiments, smoking, and drugs. I also think that Mycroft takes care of his brother from a distance and that's why he enjoys "annoying him" as an excuse to check on him.

And why not? Mickey also visits Sherlock to show off his abilities because he can jejeje

Also the fact that MC doesn't want to eat but once they start they don't want to stop is kind of reminiscent of Autistic/ADHD inertia where you don't want to start something but once you start you can't stop/don't notice how long the thing goes on. Whether or not this was intentional it just reminded me of my own eating habits bc I'm autistic and don't always register when I'm hungry lol.

But it makes me think that MC and Sherlock are two geniuses focused on a government conspiracy but too dumb to notice Mrs Hudson piling pancakes onto their plate

MC, internally: so obviously the baker two doors down has a gambling addiction and Microft is hiding a government conspiracy, possibly because it has to- *cracking missile launch codes*

I’ve never played Ace Attorney before but that is a very accurate description of MC and Sherlock.

and yes, this MC is neurodivergent coded. (Partly accidental since I’m neurodivergent so that comes out in my writing and then I just lean into it) They have their special interests and don’t care about other stuff and then have a lack of care/understanding of social cues. So it leans more towards autism.

And they have no idea people are taking care of them. They just go on autopilot lol

Microft Holmes was not a gossip: he kept up with information. Moriarty genuinely smiled only when talking about going home for dinner. It reminded him of his own father, when they used to enjoy Eudoria Holmes's cooking. Whoever that man or woman was, they were very much in love.

Moran knew, knew that Albert had a lover. Or maybe two, by how satisfied he seemed. But those things weren't talked about.

There are times when Moran swears that Louis was seeing someone in secret. He's not stupid, so he knows that the beautiful blond man leaves his bed several times a week and doesn't return until the early morning. It's not like he's taken to spying, thank you very much. He just wants to tell Louis that loving someone is okay, it's beautiful, and a feeling he shouldn't be ashamed of. But then he thinks of Louis's possible reactions, one of which involves a knife, and he stops.

Before seeing William and Sherlock in love, there were Albert and Louis. They weren't as subtle as they thought, Fred thought as he enjoyed Albert's creme brulee. But if Albert left Louis again, well, there were things to talk about with him.

Why? Why did he go with his brother? No, rather, why did he wait for him and stay with him? Hasn't Albert already made it clear that William and his own ego matter more to him than his lover? Letting Louis James Moriarty into his heart was a game he lost.

Albert stopped reading aloud and proceeded to take off his glasses. Louis rested on his chest. Over twenty years and with gray hair, and every day he fell in love with his brother and lover several times a day.

And he could only pray and strive to make Louis fall in love with him as many times as possible.

look man, my biggest issue with BBC Sherlock is the fact that hey FUCKED UP season 4. the wrecked it. who the fuck is this Euros person??? Why the fuck does Sherlock & Microft need a random secret sister who’s been tucked away in a maximum security prison/asylum thing for decades??? We didn’t know about her & we could have lived our lives without knowing about her bc she means nothing to the story. She is but a random Moffat/Gattis OC. Which is cool, IG???

But She adds NOTHING! to the story, she doesn’t provide character development, nothing. She may add stress to Sherlock when she abducts John. Yeah, but that’s minor & doesn’t mean much bc that’s just their constant dynamic they could have done the same thing with a rando abducting John off the street or whatever.

the silly flashbacks of their childhood??? Dumb, unimaginative, didn’t help Sherlock or Mycroft at all, only traumatized Sherlock to the point he completely blocked her out of his head, & my biggest issue with this is that their parents literally would not have dealt with a child like her the way they implied by shoving her away. Meeting Sherlock’s parents in season 2 show two loving, caring normal parents who don’t seem the type to do that to a child of theirs, specially forget them & not mention them during the holidays or whatever.

What doesn’t work with Season 4 is the fact that it just does not fit with the storyline. It was randomly put together with duck tape & chewing gum & it shows.

I appreciate the fan service they did to all of the Moriarty girlies. (Me included) bc god Do I love Andrew as Moriarty. But! They literally could have Added Moran instead of Euros & the story would of stayed the same but made even more sense bc Seb at least has an actual very real bone to pick with Holmes & I am not saying this bc I literally run a Sebastian Moran fan club with my two Moran Accounts. But because if they wanted to do the random “revenge” plot thing they did with Euron working with Jim before he died to get back at sherlock or Mycroft or whatever the fuck the plan was. It would have made a whole lot more sense of the whole shit show at the of season 4 somehow tied up to Jim’s “game” back in season 2 & we would have gotten to see Moriarty working with Moran to continue fucking with Holmes bc FUCK! that would have been a whole lot more compelling to the story & would have touched back to how Holmes NEEDS Moriarty to keep him stimulated. & if Jim places any type of interesting scheme to get his attention even after fucking death. Except he planned it before it. & Moran was in charged to continue that now then be it but fuck, I hate so much what they did to ma lads in season 4 😭😭😭

Since Sherlock Holmes is trending... I know yall love to shit on BBC Sherlock, saying how you only liked it back then bc you were cringe teens. I also know that the second they'd announce a 5th season, yall would keep crawling back immediatly.

Hm, I'm interesting in relationship mother-sons with Sherlock, Microft and their mother, because Sherlock mentions only her in sigh of three when he says on mrs H "Your mother has a lot to answer for" this words: "Hm, I know. I have a list. Microft has a file".

What did their mother do or did not do, for what they both have grievances, as I understand it? Although, at the same time, they undoubtedly love her.

I want to see a show about their childhood now.
