I’ve been working on about 20 boards in my past two trips to Charlottesville, and per usual it’s the night before I depart back home for Brooklyn and I’ve left myself a monolithic amount of sanding to complete. I sand with 4 grits on the orbital and hand sand the grooves and edges , then hit the resin with a little microbuff before the hugely satisfying final step : branding and oiling the boards. Needless to say it’s a ton. Of. Sanding.
