It's actually the episode right after Fever. Mick is my favourite vampire ever, not just in Moonlight.

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions"/ "Das Gegenteil von gut ist gut gemeint."

is pretty much what the character represents for me and why I like him so much.

And nothing shows that as well as Arrested Development.

That time Mick got beat up by a teenager that was twice his age. But ultimately won out of sheer luck. Not to mention that he had tried to help Mineo (that's the teens name, I found it on imdb) by following him around a closed theme park and giving him an ominous pep talk through speakers.

What is your favourite episode?

HM. Well I'm a bit of a whump junkie, so I'd probably have to go with Fever. We love a tortured, hungry, dying vampire lol. What's yours?

Of course he knows exactly what Beth means when she talks about remembering. Like he could forget. The smell of burning flesh, the sharp, sour tang of fear and death on her skin. Coraline lit up in flames he’d thought at the time were certain enough to kill her. He knows exactly what Beth means when she says that. He’s not sure it’d help much, the knowledge that even then, years after what happened, he’d kept an eye on her. Made sure she was safe, always. He’s self-aware enough to know that it’d probably be more creepier than reassuring.

“You’re worried I’ll find you boring?” He asks, watching her move about the kitchen like she’s performing some kind of dance rather than simply getting her dinner set.

“Vampires are boring. You...you are not,” Mick murmurs, because it’s absolutely true. He has no qualms whatsoever about watching Beth, watching her do normal human things. Vampires….vampires were tedious. He didn’t eat outside of blood, slept in a goddamn freezer...while she was out living her life, doing whatever it was that humans did. Franky, it’s been so long outside of those brief, few days, he can’t hardly remember what it was like to be that. Mortal. Human.

In the back of her mind,Beth was always going to worry about Coraline coming back. She had done it once already and basically lied to her and passed herself off as Morgan Vincent. And even Beth had staked her. Beth was still scared and she knew deep down she was gone,but for how long?

She looked up when she heard Mick ask her if he would find her boring. “The thought has crossed my mind once or twice,”she confessed to him. “I’m not that interesting of a person. I just go about my life,”she explained stopping what she was doing by the stove and looking at him. “I just-I just hang out with a vampire,”she shrugged like it was no big thing.

She stirred the vegetables in the pan before they got burnt. “And I wouldn’t call you boring by a long shot,”she added. Letting the food simmer,she turned to look at him. “I find it fascinating the history you’ve witnessed or will witness”she commented. “I mean I can read about them in books. But you were actually there...”

Beth’s wasn’t negotiating with Mick. She was telling him that he need to drink her blood. She knew what silver did to vampire and offering her blood to Mick wasn’t up for discussion. Beth was going to give it to him one way or another.

Kneeling down in front of him,Beth tried again to get him to look at him. When it came to Mick being in trouble or needing help,Beth would move heaven and earth for him.  She didn’t notice that he was acting like an animal. She just wanted to help him. “I’m not offering my blood,”she told him sternly. “I’m telling you to take it. I know you won’t hurt me,”she added.

Looking around the ground on the ground,she found a price of jagged rock near the stump of one of the trees. Grabbing it,Beth gritted her teeth and ran it across her arm. She felt the familiar sting of a cut envelope her arm right away. Turning her attention back to Mick,she held her arm up at him. “Take it!” she demanded.

He tried to look away, but Beth was a force to be reckoned with. She had the assured air of a lion tamer, and even his scrambled mind could recognize the danger in taming lions

And here you can see, dear patrons, I put my head inside the beast's mouth. I trust him completely. I know he won't hurt me. But the audience knows as well as the lion tamer that it would take only a moment for the lion's instinct to take over, and suddenly, no more lion tamer.

Only--if Beth was the tamer at the circus, then she was doing this trick with a raw steak strapped to her head. The jagged rock cut a rough and dirty line down her arm, and the blood spilled out and trickled down Beth's pale skin. Then, Mick found his instinct taking over.

Inside his chest, he felt the rumble of a growl no human could ever make--a sound not unlike the tenuously tamed circus lion he pictured in his mind. He grabbed Beth's wrist, his grip inhumanly tight, and bearing his cracked lips around gleaming fangs, he moved toward her and pulled her in at the same time, so that her arm and his mouth met somewhere in the middle of this fraught, electrified space.

Mick's instincts didn't want to waste the blood dripping down Beth's arm. His tongue extended to make a cool sweep upward, toward the cut, and then his fangs sunk in above it, not to open up more veins as much as to get a tight and desperate hold on her arm.

And he drank. He drank as if her blood were air and he had been suffocating. The hand not gripping her wrist moved its way around her waist and pulled her in close to him, and the firy warmth of her drove him mad and brought life to his undead body.
