Sebastian felt his head pounding before he even really came back to consciousness. He tried to swallow but his mouth felt as if it were filled with cotton wool. As he moved a little, Sebastian whimpered, pressing his face deeper into the pillow he was resting on as pain scattered across his brain.

“Oh sweetheart”, a amused voice whispered and a cold hand pressed against his forehead making Sebastian sigh, “I knew I should have stopped you when you started buying Jäger Bombs”

Midnight rain mick/Callum

Callum had always known that loving Mick was going to be hard and not because of Mick himself, but because of the careers they had chosen, Callum always knew that falling for Mick meant that he would come second best, that there would be jealousy and moments where Callum had to watch Mick forge his own name from the shadow of another while he chased his dream

Yet it was all worth it to see Mick turn to him and smile, a soft little thing that no one else in the world got to see because it was for him, it was the smile Mick had given him just before he had kissed him for the first time after a shared podium, and Callum lived for these moments

The moments where it was just them and they could forget about racing and formula one and lost chances, forget about the distance that separated them as Callum found his own way back from a dying dream and Mick struggled to keep his alive, it was a perfect moment as Mick pulled him closer until they were tangled together in bed, some movie they'd watched a thousand times on in the background and Micks heart beating in time with his own
