David Dunbar Buick the founder of the Buick Motor Company passed away on March 5th 1929.
Buick was born at 26 Green Street, Arbroath on September 17th  in 1854, young David emigrated to the USA with his parents at the age of two. Although he founded the Buick Manufacturing Company which later became General Motors, Buick’s early success was largely due to his patented process for bonding porcelain to iron, a process that helped fuel the craze for white porcelain bathtubs. But Buick wasn’t all about tubs.
In 1899, after becoming engrossed in this new technology known as gasoline engines for automobiles, Buick established the Auto Vim and Power Co. to produce engines for farm and stationary use. He sold his plumbing business for $100,000 to raise capital for his new venture and began tinkering with using the engines he produced to power four-wheeled vehicles. Two years later, he founded the Buick Manufacturing Company to make engines for various car makers and to make cars himself.
Unfortunately Buick, although a brilliant craftsman was a terrible businessman, he actually only made 120 cars along with his partner Ben Briscoe, before selling his remaining share to William C. Durant who insured that the company grew successfully.
David Buick died of cancer on on this day 1929, at the times of his death he was working as an inspector at a Detroit trade school. Buick, the man, was all but forgotten. Briscoe wrote in 1921 that had Buick been able to keep his shares in the firm, they would have been worth more than $10 million at that time. Their value today would be almost incalculable.
Buicks are still made, according to wiki they sold over 1.2 million vehicles in 2015, the main market nowadays is China! The cars baring the Scotsman’s name are also sold, mainly in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
At the turn of the millennium, over 35,000,000 motor cars had been built in his name, which will never be lost to history.
A statue to honour Buick was unveiled in Michigan, as seen in the pic, another was planned for Arbroath as far back as 2018, but as yet so far it has not been erected.

Deductibles and Their Impact on Car Insurance in Bay City and Flint, Michigan
When someone buys car insurance, their insurer will likely ask them to choose a deductible amount—the amount of money they must pay out of pocket before their coverage kicks in. Irrespective of the amount, deductibles can significantly impact car insurance in Bay City and Flint, Michigan premiums. One must be mindful of how much of a deductible one can afford, as deductibles that are too high may be a financial burden if an accident occurs. Here's how deductibles can impact car insurance premiums:   What is a deductible?   A deductible is an amount of money a person must pay out-of-pocket before their insurance company covers any expenses associated with a claim. Most policies won't cover the total amount of the claim if the deductible is not met, so if an insured person opts for a higher deductible, it could potentially result in lower premiums.   Usually, the insurer offers several choices for the deductible, ranging from a lower amount with a correspondingly higher premium to a higher amount with a corresponding lower premium. Depending on the policyholder's financial situation, they can choose the deductible that makes the most sense.   So, if someone backs into the building and damages their car, they can expect their insurance to cover the costs up to the amount of their deductible.     Choosing the Right Deductible:   Choosing the right deductible can help an individual save money on their insurance premiums while ensuring that they are sufficiently covered in an accident. It is essential to understand that the higher the deductible, the lower the insurance premium will be. There are a few different factors that should be taken into consideration when choosing the right deductible.   The individual's budget:   One of the most important factors to consider when choosing the right deductible is the individual's budget. It is crucial that the individual can afford to pay the deductible if an accident or incident does occur. Failing to do so can result in financial hardship and added stress, which must be avoided at all costs.   Their tolerance for risk:   It is vital to consider an individual's tolerance for risk when deciding on the best deductible for them. It is nothing but common sense that someone with a higher risk tolerance may opt for a higher deductible, as the potential for savings on their premiums can be substantial.   The amount of coverage they are seeking:   Customers must weigh the amount of coverage they seek against the risk they are willing to take. While considering the potential for higher premiums due to a lower deductible, one must consider the risk and decide if having a more comprehensive insurance plan is worth it.   The deductible can be modified during policy term renewals, allowing consumers to adjust the risk they are willing to take in exchange for potentially lower premiums. Consumers have to think about how much an unexpected medical emergency will cost and decide if a higher premium is worth getting more coverage. A combination of auto insurance and commercial insurance in Bay City and Flint, Michigan, can be beneficial for those looking to find the right balance of coverage and premium rates. It is often recommended that consumers shop around and compare the features of different policies to find the one that best meets their needs.

Facts About CBD Business Insurance in Ann Arbor and South Lyon
The use of cannabis has been legalized in many states across the nation. Individuals engaged in businesses that include cannabis in any form can protect their business by buying the requisite CBD business insurance in Ann Arbor and South Lyon today. All companies that use cannabis in any form are prone to several kinds of risks. While a physical store or dispensary selling marijuana for medicinal use is at the risk of fire and theft, just like other entities, certain risks are faced by the CBD businesses alone.
It is essential for a business owner using cannabis as a product for sale in any form to be well-informed about its insurance needs. It suffices to know that Cannabis insurance is a specific type of small business insurance with specific coverage provided according to the risks.
Business owners who must think of buying the right CBD insurance coverage include the following:-
· Cannabis cultivators
· Cannabis dispensaries
· Cannabis manufacturers
· Cannabis delivery and transporters
· Cannabis wholesalers and distributors
· Medical cannabis physicians
· Hydroponic shops
· Cannabis Testing laboratories
CBD Business Insurance Coverage
The concerned business owner must discuss the requirements according to the risks involved. Consulting an insurance agency or agent about the necessities can enable them to make the right decision. The CBD insurance policy should be a mix of several types of small business coverage that will offer protection from all possible risks. The best CBD insurance plan should, therefore, include the following:-
Business owners policy (BOP) comprising of:-
· Business liability insurance- This compensates third parties for bodily injuries and property damage. Moreover, the insurance company also pays all legal costs arising from a liability suit.
· Commercial property insurance- The property used to run the business is covered for damage caused by natural elements, thefts, and vandalism.
· Business interruption insurance- The insurance company will pay the lost wages when a business has to be closed temporarily due to a covered peril. Shifting the business premises to closure or a few days is also covered.
Some of the other types of coverage that are usually necessary for a cannabis business owner are:
Cannabis crop insurance
Commercial auto insurance
Equipment breakdown insurance
Product liability insurance
Surety bonds
Workers Compensation
It is further necessary to understand that no insurance company will offer coverage for the following:-
· Risks arising from the illegal cultivation or sale of marijuana
· Loss caused due to a Federal offense or violation of rules
· Damage to the crop by pests and mold infestation
Interestingly, the State of Michigan has set the minimum amount of liability insurance for people in the CBD business. It mandates buying at least $100,000 worth of insurance coverage for product liability & bodily injury liability.
A property owner is well advised to buy suitable homeowners insurance in Ann Arbor and South Lyon that protects the structure and the personal possessions inside and covers all possible risks.

Why Business Owners Need Business Auto Insurance: Protecting Assets on the Road
In today’s fast-paced business climate, transportation plays a crucial role in the operations of many businesses. For any business owner, whether they operate a small local delivery service or a large corporation with a fleet of vehicles spanning the nation, business insurance coverage is crucial. Let’s explore the importance of business auto insurance operations for businesses that depend on vehicles for transportation.
Understanding Business Auto Insurance Understanding the details is crucial before exploring the reasons for obtaining business auto insurance in Carrollwood and Tampa, Florida. The purpose of business auto insurance coverage is to protect commercial vehicles. The business owns, hires, or leases company automobiles, trucks, vans, and other vehicles. Business auto insurance covers accidents, collisions, theft, vandalism, and other risks while operating commercial vehicles.
Legal Compliance and Financial Protection: One of the primary reasons companies seek business auto insurance is to comply with legal obligations and protect their financial interests. Auto insurance is a requirement for all vehicles on public roadways in most states, including Michigan. If an accident occurs and there’s no insurance coverage, one can face penalties, a license suspension, and legal responsibility. Business auto insurance is essential for complying with state regulations and safeguarding assets from financial losses related to vehicles.
Coverage for Property Damage and Bodily Injury: Accidents can occur anywhere and at any moment, even with conscientious drivers. Business auto insurance covers property damage and personal injuries caused by accidents. This policy also covers damage to other vehicles, structures, and personal belongings, as well as medical and legal fees for other accident victims. If businesses don’t have enough insurance coverage, their finances could be put at risk.
Protection for One’s Vehicles: Business auto insurance provides coverage for both third-party liability and the vehicles owned by the business. Whether a business owns a single company car or operates a fleet of commercial trucks, these vehicles represent a significant investment for the company. Business auto insurance provides coverage for vehicle damage caused by collisions, accidents, theft, vandalism, and other covered risks. This ensures that vehicles are repaired or replaced rapidly, avoiding downtime and preserving company efficiency.
Comprehensive Coverage Options: Business auto insurance offers a diverse selection of coverage options to meet the needs of different businesses. Liability coverage protects against property damage and bodily injury claims from third parties, whereas collision coverage covers damage to a vehicle caused by collisions with other vehicles or objects. Comprehensive coverage offers protection against theft, vandalism, fire, and natural disasters. Customize insurance policy to suit one’s needs by choosing the right coverage options for one’s business.
Coverage for Employees and Non-Owned Vehicles:  Business auto insurance may provide coverage for employees who use company vehicles as part of their jobs. This covers employee injuries in accidents and provides liability protection for damage resulting from company vehicles. Business auto insurance can provide coverage for vehicles that are not owned by the company, such as rental cars or vehicles owned by employees, when they are used for business-related activities. This ensures that the business is protected.
Risk Management and Peace of Mind: Investing in business auto insurance can help mitigate the risks of using vehicles for work. Accidents and other road occurrences can significantly impact businesses, resulting in property damage, medical costs, legal fees, and reputational damage. Business auto insurance helps mitigate risks, allowing companies to operate without worries.
Business auto insurance plays a crucial role in managing risks for companies that depend on vehicles for their operations. Business auto insurance covers legal compliance, financial protection, property damage, bodily injury, and employee liability, ensuring the safety of one’s assets while on the road. Investing in comprehensive insurance coverage for business vehicles can help protect a company’s finances, investments, and reputation from unexpected road risks. One must also consider comprehensive commercial insurance in Carrollwood and Tampa, Florida, to protect their business against the odds.

Viking I, out at the WWSC cabin.
Originally, Viking I was to have a rotary engine since the MIT contest it was built for was more about urban design and emissions than fuel economy. For simplicity, a Toyota 2-litre was used from the Toyota-provided doner "roller" car. Viking IV would be the first rotary-powered Viking car in the series.
It was learned what a "roller" was when the University of Michigan in Kalamazoo was visited during the Sea to Sea Econorally. A "roller" is industry slang for a new car that is damaged loading or unloading from a delivery vehicle hauler. Car companies are self-insured, so these go back to the manufacturer to be destroyed.
The U of Michigan vehicle lab was full of current-year full size rear drive GM models, cut off just behind the driver seat (with the top/windshield removed at the A-pillar). A castor arrangement held the now truncated chassis off the floor in the rear. The result is an easy-to-roll-around "instrumented engine fixture" with that new car smell!
We were extremely jealous. Hop in, turn the key and you have a classroom-friendly CLEAN(!) car engine fixture, ready to begin work on. Complete with air conditioning and radio. A few safety modes were required - a cage was built around the output of the shaft drive from the transmission and the exhaust/catalytic converter was truncated to fit. Students could roll them by a lab garage bay door, hook up a hose to the exhaust to route out of the lab, and then fiddle and play to their heart's delight.
Apparently, GM and Ford gave the U of M a dozen of these a year with the stipulation that they never operated as "cars" (front-wheel drive versions had their axles pulled for obvious reasons).
Pays to be an engineering school just down the road from Detroit.
The best runner-up story to this free-to-education tale was told by Dr. Seal. When he was a high school shop teacher early in his career, he heard about a donor program by the Canadian government for schools for mothballed military engines. He recalled narrowing a pickup truck, going to an old warehouse somewhere in rural BC and driving in. Inside were hundreds(!) of crates containing Rolls Royce Merlin aero-engines! He tried to take two, but the pickup would only hold one without collapsing the springs. So his auto shop program students learned their chops on a state-of-the-art, historic aero V-12. He tried to get another the next year but the response came back - all were scrapped.
Imagine - enough new RR Merlins, still in their original crates and wrapped in cosmoline, to support unlimited hydroplane racing until, say 2050!?!

Comprehensive vs. Collision Auto Insurance
Tumblr media
Collision and comprehensive car insurance are two types of physical damage coverage protecting your vehicle. Collision coverage helps repair your car from traffic accident damages. Comprehensive coverage pays losses from non-collision incidents like fires or theft.
While both coverage types of auto insurance can cover the same vehicle, the protections differ, with more specific differences between states and insurance companies.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Collision and comprehensive car insurance can cover the same vehicle, but in different ways.
Collision insurance covers damage done to your car when you have a collision with another car or an object like a fence.
Comprehensive insurance covers damage caused by events such as natural disasters, fires, or theft.
Lenders may require both comprehensive and collision insurance, although neither is required by state law.
Comparing Comprehensive and Collision Auto Insurance
Comprehensive and collision auto insurance can cover the same vehicle, but they offer different protections. Here’s how they compare. Collision Comprehensive Covers Collision with another car, an object such as a building, fence, or guardrail, and single-car accidents Damage caused by animals, falling objects, fire, natural disasters, vandalism, and theft Required Not required by state law, but may be required by your lender or leasing agent Not required by state law, but may be required by your lender Cost Typically higher Typically lower Deductible Yes; typically, higher amounts offered Yes; typically, lower amounts offered
Collision Auto Insurance
Collision car insurance covers your vehicle’s damage repairs caused by:
An accident or contact with another vehicle
A collision with a building, guardrail, person, rock, tree, or wildlife
Damage from a rollover
Car damage caused by an uninsured driver, potentially
If one of the above occurs, this coverage type pays to repair your car, even when you’re at fault for an accident. However, ask your insurer for details. In most cases, comprehensive coverage is the coverage type that covers animal collisions, including hitting a deer.
Collision auto insurance doesn’t cover damage you cause to someone else’s property or any injuries to you or your passengers.1
Note
In a few states, such as Massachusetts and Michigan, limited collision coverage is a cheaper collision coverage type that only pays if you’re less than 50% at fault.23
Cost of Collision Auto Insurance
National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) data shows that U.S. drivers paid an average annual collision premium of $370.73 in 2020. However, costs can vary by location. For instance, that same year, California drivers paid the most, with an average premium of $501.64 per year, while Wisconsin motorists paid the least, with an average of $244.82.4
Costs may depend on:
Value of the vehicle: Higher-priced or luxury cars generally cost more to insure, as they’ll also cost more to repair.
Repair cost: The general, historical cost to repair the car
Crash damages: The type of damage your particular car often incurs in a crash5
Collision Deductibles
A deductible is an amount you pay toward repairs before your insurance begins paying for any remaining repairs (up to the actual cash value of your car). You can choose your deductible when buying collision coverage. It’s offered in various options such as $200, $500, $1,000, or more.
A higher deductible lowers the amount of your overall insurance premium, but you’ll have to pay more out of pocket if you have an accident.6
Comprehensive Auto Insurance
Comprehensive auto insurance covers repairing non-collision damages and losses, even if you’re at fault somehow. Comprehensive coverage can help pay the cost of repairing damages caused by factors like:
Civil disturbances such as riots
Falling objects
Fire
Floods
Hailstorms
Hurricanes
Tornadoes
Vandalism
Windstorms
Comprehensive is also the coverage type to pay repair costs for your windshield and other car glass.7
Cost of Comprehensive Auto Insurance
Generally, comprehensive coverage is less expensive than collision insurance. Nationwide, in 2020, automobile owners paid an average of $174.26 for comprehensive auto insurance, according to the NAIC. Costs vary by location. California drivers paid the least, at an average of $97.26 annually for comprehensive coverage, while South Dakota motorists paid the most: an average of $353.10.8
Factors that could lead to higher comprehensive premium rates include:
Car and repair costs: Repair costs for your vehicle’s make and model
Car theft: How often a particular car is stolen, or the rate of auto thefts in your location5
Weather events: If you live in a region prone to severe weather, such as hurricanes and tornadoes, you may pay more.
Comprehensive Deductibles
In general, comprehensive deductibles are provided in lower amounts compared to collision deductibles, starting at $100.9
Comprehensive car insurance typically covers glass and windshield damage. An insurer may offer glass coverage with or without a deductible. Choosing no deductible will help you avoid out-of-pocket costs but will increase your comprehensive premium. Some states, such as Kentucky, require zero-deductible glass damage coverage if you carry comprehensive insurance.10
Key Differences Between Comprehensive and Collision Auto Insurance
Coverage
If your car is damaged in a road collision with another car or object and you’re at fault, only your collision coverage can help pay to repair it. Only comprehensive coverage covers losses caused by contact with animals, civil disturbances, fires, natural disasters, theft, and vandalism.
Your personal collision and comprehensive coverages may include rental car damages while you’re on vacation.11 Check with your car insurance agent for details and to ensure that coverage is extended to rentals. Remember that:
You’ll still need to pay the deductible.
Any claims may raise your premium.
All expenses may not be covered—such as loss of income for the rental agency.
Some insurers may not extend physical damage coverage for certain difficult-to-insure cars, whether due to high theft rates or repair and replacement costs.5 Or, you may need to have a high deductible of $1,000 or more.
For other types of situations, neither collision nor comprehensive coverage would apply. Here are the types of auto insurance policies that would cover other situations:SituationInsurance coverageMedical expenses for you or your passengers Personal injury protection (PIP), medical, or your health insurance policyOther auto’s driver or passenger medical expensesBodily liability The difference between your collision payment and the amount owed on a new vehicleGap insuranceCar rental while repairs are performedAuto rental coverageMechanical breakdownsMechanical breakdown insuranceGeneral wear and tear and maintenance costsNo coverage available—pay out of pocketTheft of items from your carPossibly homeowners or renters’ policy
Required
State laws do not require drivers to buy collision and comprehensive car insurance coverages. But when you borrow money to buy or lease a car, the lender or leasing company will likely require you to carry both types of protections.7 If you don’t purchase these policies, the lender may buy them for you and charge you for it, also known as force-placed insurance.
Depending on your state and insurer, the insurer may drop your collision and comprehensive coverage if you have an excessive claim history or only specific claim types, taking into account both at-fault and not-at-fault claims.
Costs
Typically, collision car insurance costs more than comprehensive coverage.12 The cost of both types of coverage can depend on factors such as your location and the type of vehicle you drive.
Your premiums may increase if you have had frequent or high-value claims. You may more often see premiums increase where you were at fault for collisions vs. not-at-fault comprehensive. Increased premiums may depend on state laws and insurance companies.
NOTE
For example, in Texas, an insurer can raise your premium if you have three claims over 36 months for damage from flying gravel or other flying or falling objects, which fall under comprehensive coverage.13
Deductibles
Typically, collision and comprehensive coverages have separate deductibles, and you can choose different amounts for each deductible. Comprehensive coverage deductibles are typically offered in lower amounts than for collision coverage.
Some states set minimums for deductibles. In New York, insurers must charge at least a $50 deductible for comprehensive and $100 for collision, but a $0 deductible is allowed for glass damages.14
When it’s claim time, you pay separate deductibles for each incident. If you’re in a fender bender in the morning, and a tree falls on your car in the afternoon, you’ll be charged two separate deductibles—one for collision and one for comprehensive.
Is Collision or Comprehensive Car Insurance Better?
If you finance or lease a car, you’ll have to carry both collision and comprehensive coverage until you pay off the loan or the lease ends.
If you own a vehicle outright, you may not need either coverage. However, figure out how much you can afford to spend out of pocket if you total your automobile, if it’s stolen, or if it sustains natural disaster damage. If you have an older car with a low market value, carrying collision or comprehensive coverages might not make financial sense.
Suppose you just paid off your car loan and your automobile still has a $15,000 market value. Depending on the cost of your insurance premium, it might make financial sense to continue carrying collision and comprehensive coverages. But, if your vehicle has a market value of less than $3,000, you can likely drop both coverages.15
Do You Need Both Comprehensive and Collision Auto Insurance?
Car leasing companies and lenders require lessors and borrowers to carry collision and comprehensive car insurance coverages. If you own your vehicle outright, you might consider discontinuing collision, comprehensive, or both coverages. However, remember that if you drop collision and comprehensive coverages, you’ll have to use your own funds to pay for losses. Generally, it makes good financial sense to drop both coverages when your car’s market value dips below about $3,000.15
Does Comprehensive Mean Full Coverage?
No. Lenders and auto leasing companies typically require customers to buy a full-coverage car insurance policy. “Full coverage” is not an actual policy type. It typically refers to an auto insurance policy that includes all legally required coverages, like bodily injury and property damage liability, plus collision and comprehensive coverages.
What Is Third-Party Insurance?
You file a third-party insurance claim when you think the accident was the other driver’s fault, and you file a claim with their insurance company. If the insurance company agrees and pays your claim, you do not pay a deductible for any car repairs. If you first file a claim with your company under collision coverage and pay the deductible, your company may be able to refund the deductible to you later.16
Is It Better to Have a High or a Low Deductible?
Choosing a high deductible can lower your premium, but it requires you to pay more out of pocket if you need to file a claim. Car owners who can afford to pay for losses using their funds may choose a high deductible. Sometimes, your insurer may require a higher deductible if you have an excessive claim history.
On the other hand, a low deductible can help you avoid high out-of-pocket costs following an accident but will require you to pay a higher premium. Drivers with limited savings may benefit from paying a higher premium, with the assurance that their policy will cover higher losses.
The Bottom Line
Collision and comprehensive auto insurance coverages provide valuable protections. If you drive an expensive vehicle, consider carrying both types of coverage to protect your assets in the event of a major loss. However, not all drivers need collision or comprehensive coverage. If you’ve paid off your car loan and your automobile has little market value, carrying these protections is probably not cost-effective.
Also, consider your risk level. You might not need collision and comprehensive auto insurance if you own your vehicle and only drive it occasionally. But, if you live in a location with high auto theft or traffic accident rates, the extra protection might be valuable in the long run.

People With Bad Credit Pay up to 263% More for Car Insurance — Even if They’re Good Drivers
Tumblr media
The nonprofit group Consumer Federation of America (CFA) recently analyzed how auto insurance companies use drivers’ credit scores when determining their annual premiums. Except for in the few states that ban car insurers from using credit data, the CFA found that insurers tend to charge safe drivers with fair or bad credit scores significantly more than those with good credit scores. “Across the country, consumers with poor credit annually pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars more for the basic auto insurance coverage mandated by state laws,” the researchers wrote. Key context For decades, auto insurance companies have been using drivers’ credit histories, which show their debts and other information pertinent to insurers, to set how much they pay each year in premiums, tapping it as a proxy for how risky a driver they might be. Only three states — California, Hawaii and Massachusetts — currently ban the practice. Lawmakers in Illinois recently introduced the Motor Vehicle Insurance Fairness Act to ban it, as well. As CFA’s report highlights, the practice can lead to major discrepancies in auto insurance premiums for similarly safe drivers who have different credit scores. (For reference, credit-scoring firm FICO considers a score between 800 and 850 to be exceptional; 740 to 799 is very good; 670 to 739 is good; 580 to 669 is fair; and anything below 580 is poor. The national average is 714. Keep in mind credit-based insurance scores and algorithms — which car insurers use to set premiums — use much the same credit information but tend to produce slightly different numbers than a standard credit score like FICO.) Given that auto insurance is mandatory in 49 states and that Americans’ credit history often correlates to race and income, the CFA found that the steep penalties faced by drivers with poor credit disproportionately harm low-income earners and people of color across the country. However, Jeff Dunsavage, a senior research analyst at the nonprofit Insurance Information Institute, argues that credit scores strongly correlate to the risk of crashing and that giving different policy holders different premiums is simply the nature of the business. “Charging higher premiums to higher-risk policyholders helps insurers underwrite a wider range of coverages, improving both availability and affordability of insurance,” he wrote in an analysis of the Illinois proposal earlier this year. Where people with bad credit pay the most for car insurance According to the CFA, most drivers believe that their driving record and behavior are the core factors that determine how much they pay for auto insurance. However, research suggests that’s not necessarily the case. In Michigan, for example, the CFA found that a safe driver with a poor credit score pays, on average, 263% more for auto insurance than a similar driver with excellent credit — a difference amounting to more than $1,900 per year. Michigan was also the most expensive state in general for safe drivers with poor credit. Here’s where auto insurance companies typically charge the most to drivers with bad credit: Michigan: $2,667 a year (Drivers with excellent credit pay an average of $734.) New York: $2,097 (Drivers with excellent credit pay $730.) Florida: $2,000 (Drivers with excellent credit pay $822.) Delaware: $1,695 (Drivers with excellent credit pay $773.) New Jersey: $1,663 (Drivers with excellent credit pay $660.) Rhode Island: $1,580 (Drivers with excellent credit pay $789.) Minnesota: $1,522 (Drivers with excellent credit pay $560.)
