hi! i just wanted to address something here really quick:

for some of my chuuya fics, i’ve included him speaking some french. this comes from my knowledge of french, growing up in canada and learning it here. in canada, french is an official language, and i grew up learning and speaking it from grade 5 all the way to grade 12. i also grew up around various francaphonie communities, the high school i attended being a french immersion school. one of my closest family friends are members of the metis community- they speak both french and michif, which is a dialect of canadian french with algonquin influence.

canadian french is very different from european french. i’m not sure where my audience comes from, but i wanted to clarify that my french might be different from yours. and though my french is limited, i feel strong enough to use it in my writing. i would never want to include something in my work that may be offensive or misrepresentative to people. as an immigrant from the philippines and as a bilingual person, i know how important proper representation is. languages are an extension of our culture and our identities.

chuuya knowing/speaking french is simply a headcanon. its just my interpretation of him, and thats all. we’re all here to have a good time and enjoy good fanfiction.

I was poked to do this months ago, twice at least - once by @docholligay and I think the second was @jeejyboard, but I can't find the tag for the life of me. SORRY. I felt like doing something a bit more meta today re:writing and post about The Process, and this was a perfect excuse - thanks for thinking of me. So here's some actual effort! I went and dug deep, trawled through some really old stuff, which was fun. I write and scribble down way, way more than I actually polish and post (which I assume is probably normal, but who knows). 

General info, for whoever is interested: I mostly use Google Docs with offline backups for fic writing, as I shift between computers a ton, and I put fandom tags at the start of my filenames for organisation. I have a ton of prompt/meme/ask/event collection files - for example, the very latest: "[BG3, STRAHD, SM] Fic Prompts 2024". In these I jot down both the prompts people send or that are listed and the ideas/outlines/notes for each, then when I really get going with a certain fic I spin it off into a separate document. 

I hate coming up with titles and usually do that last, so most of my document names are silly references for my own amusement or just a boring old brief description of the main concept. For instance, my latest posted fic Cerimonia Compedum was for most of its WIP-hood known simply as "[BG3] Tadpoled Isobel". Sometimes I keep different versions/revisions/parts of the same WIP in different files, and if that's the case I've grouped them here. Note that for simplicity's sake this post includes my "solo" fic only, no collabs or coauthored stuff, of which there is also a bunch. 

Some of these are ancient and hit me in the face with "12 years ago" timestamps. Some ficlets will never make it out of the mixed prompt plot bunny dumping grounds into their own doc. I think Sailor Moon 10-ish years ago was the one outlier fandom where I actually wrote most of my concepts out fully and posted them. The ol' brain is currently overproducing stuff for the more recent BG3 flavoured moon lesbians (and no, that ship name will never stop throwing my HaruMichi-loving ass for a loop). Note that some of the SU WIPs on the list I've already posted about here, here, here, and here.

When I was in my early teens, I found a fanfic that meant a fuck ton to me and I can no longer find it. I’m begging someone to remember the name, I remember the entire plot and all the goddamn details but I can’t remember the name.

It was primarily destiel but also had background sabriel and michifer. It completely dissolved into crack and like- was my default 3am fic to stifle laughter at cuz it was fucking hilarious.

High school AU, cas and Dean had been neighbors and best friends for a while. Cas had a huge family with Anna as the mother and Cas, Gabriel, Michael, and like- everyone else as the kids. Cas’s parents left and Michael and his “college project partner” Lucifer were in charge for no apparent reason. Also they were together and were really bad at hiding it so everyone knew. At some point they all went out to this cabin and went fishing and Cas and Dean obviously had this super close friendship that turned into more. At one point cas ended up in the hospital and a wizard from another tv show showed up, same with Dr. who, all for no apparent reason. There was a plot, however it was mostly lost in the crack lmao.

It would mean the world to me to find this fic again. I can post more details if asked. Pls help!!!

But yes, I admit I haven’t watched too much SPN but I’ve tried to study the later arcs and read up on it thru the Wikia

I was thinking of a 3-chapter sequence where Michael and Lucifer fuck in the Wasteland after telling Mary to fuck off, all while dramatic monologuing after each other that even separate universes can’t keep them apart

Then the second sequence is the big showdown where Sam!Lucifer hopes Adam!Michael won’t fight him like God wants, is surprised to find out Michael is with him on this before there’s more fucking. Obviously, Dean’s gonna just come over and be like ‘you know what, bad time, I’m leaving’

Therefore, Michael and Lucifer don’t get thrown in the cage by chapter 3. Instead, I like the idea that their graces leave Adam and Adam to find their “true” perfect vessel (which I usually imagine them as having long hair, my men gotta have long hair) and encounter each other in like a Gala-style setting where they ‘hunt’ for each other since their whole thing is endlessly pursuing each other ✨

Genesis Chapters 1-4, covering the beginning with the separation of light and dark to the curse of Cain, is 2-3 thousand words long, depending on the version.

My Michifer Cuck fic, detailing roughly the same timeline, is 14 thousand words long, and I still need to add in a bit where Lucifer and Eve the Mother of Monsters meet (and Michael Probably ships them in his religious copefic and it fits with Lucifer being incredibly affected by every single female character in this narrative).

Some highlights:

No need to decide between Heylel!Lucifer and Samael!Lucifer, Lucifer goes by Many names and All Three and every time they get grounded by God they get Un-And-Re-Named (and Michael very quietly calls Him out for that)

Adam’s navel in Season 15 gets explained because God created mankind by giving a gaggle of homo sapiens souls and Adam gets the first one, but there are thousands homo sapiens as well as sister species that are just as sapient and God just Doesn’t Soul Them. (Adam is a newborn that gets kidnapped to Eden in his sleeping mother’s arms and no one needs to look further into that, actually, his soulless mother doesn’t matter to God :) .)

Lilith gets to have the Best Fucking Time. She doesn’t give a fuck about Adam, who she might’ve fucked, but she also might’ve fucked God, and leaves Eden just to see if God will follow her rather than beefing with Adam, and gets the power of the Prettiest Archangel to do whatever she wants and even Michael respects her game and ships her Real Hard with Lucifer and at some points refers to her with divine proper pronouns. (This is why even God left a lot of variables with what seals would be broken to unlock the cage and who the righteous man would be but Under No Uncertain Terms Was Lilith Allowed to Join Lucifer In The Apocalypse She’s Gotta Die to Give Michael A Fighting Chance)

Unreliable and vague narrator to cast doubt on Cain’s telling of murdering his brother and What Thee Fuck the lesser gods are Fortuna says God’s creations, Michael says Tulpas, the truth might be somewhere in the middle.

Some angels start a rumor that Lucifer creating the Princes of Hell is meant to place Lucifer as God, and the Princes as a mockery of the Archangels, and Michael Nips That Shit In The Bud.

Cloth Mother!Lucifer continues to provide the most Unholy Snacks to corrupt humanity. Lilith gets to summon fruit with archangel grace, Eve and all the residents of the Garden of Eden get to eat the forbidden fruit, half of the Princes just want to 1) Unlock Agriculture early 2) Drink wine and eat honey.

Asmodeus as well as Dagon are implied to be women (Asmodeus a priestess and Dagon a sacrifice) who were going to be killed but Lilith didn’t let that happen.

The cherubim going insane and getting corrupted by working so closely with humans with no respite in retreating to Heaven, which is compared to both Castiel and Dean and Lucifer and Lilith.

Me screwing up the simplified ideas about sin and corruption with references to animal and known early human behavior until the only logical answer to Cain being the “Father of Murder” is that Abel’s killing is the first time one human with a soul kills another with a soul. (Which really only matters because God draws weird lines and gets mad when they’re crossed - God the Creator and God the Father and never God the Explainer.)

Michael’s spear, created to be used against Lucifer, kills good and evil things at different speeds and good things are killed slowly enough that the poison can be retracted if the spear is broken and Hey Has Anyone Else Gotten Really Mentally Ill About The Implications Of That?

Has anyone gotten Really Fucking Mentally Ill about the Hellhounds being failed companions of God and how Lucifer saved one? I’m never Not gonna be.

Writing Michael to be such a fucking Freak in his POV of creation as told by him explaining the meaning behind religions and myths he created.

At first he thinks it’s stupid, but then he spots one of the brightest souls he’s ever seen. And his name is Michael and Lucifer can’t stop gushing about him to Chuck through prayer. And Chuck realizes that Lucifer has fallen in love, so he brings Lucifer back to heaven. But Lucifer would much rather just stay on earth forever so he begs until Chuck sends him back.
