4. what’s the time period and location in which the novel takes place? can't really answer that very well honestly...it's technically the first 10 billion years of the universe and heaven is pretty disconnected from any concept of time on a smaller scale than like centuries, so there isn't any real time period like we know it

20. which character is the best writer? worst? blbbb well this could mean a few different things! if we're going physically handwriting, i'd say either gabriel (given his role as the messenger) or maybe like...stolas. i think he'd write down all the astronomy stuff lucifer ever told him. if we're going with whoever's the best at writing stories (even though there's no need to write outside of messages or notes in heaven), i'd say raphael! he gives me a sorta daydreamy poet vibe. that's what he'd do if he was human i think. that and run a flower shop (and gabriel could run a coffee shop...omg i know my next au)

hi! i just wanted to address something here really quick:

for some of my chuuya fics, i’ve included him speaking some french. this comes from my knowledge of french, growing up in canada and learning it here. in canada, french is an official language, and i grew up learning and speaking it from grade 5 all the way to grade 12. i also grew up around various francaphonie communities, the high school i attended being a french immersion school. one of my closest family friends are members of the metis community- they speak both french and michif, which is a dialect of canadian french with algonquin influence.

canadian french is very different from european french. i’m not sure where my audience comes from, but i wanted to clarify that my french might be different from yours. and though my french is limited, i feel strong enough to use it in my writing. i would never want to include something in my work that may be offensive or misrepresentative to people. as an immigrant from the philippines and as a bilingual person, i know how important proper representation is. languages are an extension of our culture and our identities.

chuuya knowing/speaking french is simply a headcanon. its just my interpretation of him, and thats all. we’re all here to have a good time and enjoy good fanfiction.

I was poked to do this months ago, twice at least - once by @docholligay and I think the second was @jeejyboard, but I can't find the tag for the life of me. SORRY. I felt like doing something a bit more meta today re:writing and post about The Process, and this was a perfect excuse - thanks for thinking of me. So here's some actual effort! I went and dug deep, trawled through some really old stuff, which was fun. I write and scribble down way, way more than I actually polish and post (which I assume is probably normal, but who knows). 

General info, for whoever is interested: I mostly use Google Docs with offline backups for fic writing, as I shift between computers a ton, and I put fandom tags at the start of my filenames for organisation. I have a ton of prompt/meme/ask/event collection files - for example, the very latest: "[BG3, STRAHD, SM] Fic Prompts 2024". In these I jot down both the prompts people send or that are listed and the ideas/outlines/notes for each, then when I really get going with a certain fic I spin it off into a separate document. 

I hate coming up with titles and usually do that last, so most of my document names are silly references for my own amusement or just a boring old brief description of the main concept. For instance, my latest posted fic Cerimonia Compedum was for most of its WIP-hood known simply as "[BG3] Tadpoled Isobel". Sometimes I keep different versions/revisions/parts of the same WIP in different files, and if that's the case I've grouped them here. Note that for simplicity's sake this post includes my "solo" fic only, no collabs or coauthored stuff, of which there is also a bunch. 

Some of these are ancient and hit me in the face with "12 years ago" timestamps. Some ficlets will never make it out of the mixed prompt plot bunny dumping grounds into their own doc. I think Sailor Moon 10-ish years ago was the one outlier fandom where I actually wrote most of my concepts out fully and posted them. The ol' brain is currently overproducing stuff for the more recent BG3 flavoured moon lesbians (and no, that ship name will never stop throwing my HaruMichi-loving ass for a loop). Note that some of the SU WIPs on the list I've already posted about here, here, here, and here.

Obviously all of these vary wildly in terms of completion level, word count, refinement, and age (and capitalisation, apparently). So yeah, here's the list, roughly sorted by fandom - ask away, if you feel like it!

But yes, I admit I haven’t watched too much SPN but I’ve tried to study the later arcs and read up on it thru the Wikia

I was thinking of a 3-chapter sequence where Michael and Lucifer fuck in the Wasteland after telling Mary to fuck off, all while dramatic monologuing after each other that even separate universes can’t keep them apart

Then the second sequence is the big showdown where Sam!Lucifer hopes Adam!Michael won’t fight him like God wants, is surprised to find out Michael is with him on this before there’s more fucking. Obviously, Dean’s gonna just come over and be like ‘you know what, bad time, I’m leaving’

Therefore, Michael and Lucifer don’t get thrown in the cage by chapter 3. Instead, I like the idea that their graces leave Adam and Adam to find their “true” perfect vessel (which I usually imagine them as having long hair, my men gotta have long hair) and encounter each other in like a Gala-style setting where they ‘hunt’ for each other since their whole thing is endlessly pursuing each other ✨

When I was in my early teens, I found a fanfic that meant a fuck ton to me and I can no longer find it. I’m begging someone to remember the name, I remember the entire plot and all the goddamn details but I can’t remember the name.

It was primarily destiel but also had background sabriel and michifer. It completely dissolved into crack and like- was my default 3am fic to stifle laughter at cuz it was fucking hilarious.

High school AU, cas and Dean had been neighbors and best friends for a while. Cas had a huge family with Anna as the mother and Cas, Gabriel, Michael, and like- everyone else as the kids. Cas’s parents left and Michael and his “college project partner” Lucifer were in charge for no apparent reason. Also they were together and were really bad at hiding it so everyone knew. At some point they all went out to this cabin and went fishing and Cas and Dean obviously had this super close friendship that turned into more. At one point cas ended up in the hospital and a wizard from another tv show showed up, same with Dr. who, all for no apparent reason. There was a plot, however it was mostly lost in the crack lmao.

It would mean the world to me to find this fic again. I can post more details if asked. Pls help!!!

Okay but a Michifer fic where instead of sending Lucifer to hell, Chuck sends him to earth without his powers. And in order to get back to heaven he has to learn to love humanity. At first he thinks it’s stupid, but then he spots one of the brightest souls he’s ever seen. And his name is Michael and Lucifer can’t stop gushing about him to Chuck through prayer. And Chuck realizes that Lucifer has fallen in love, so he brings Lucifer back to heaven. But Lucifer would much rather just stay on earth forever so he begs until Chuck sends him back.
