Then Emil's like "I'll do it" and just bolts into the wall for no reason (probably stops right before it so he's not hurt but falls over all dramatically and makes Mickey have a heart attack).

Yurio keeps telling him to do stupid dangerous stuff and he just does (or does a safer alternative that still satisfies Yuri) and that makes Yuri respect him.

If asked Yurio will be like "oh Emil? Yeah he's pretty cool, not like we're friends or anything though" like your text conversations would say otherwise Yuri

That EmiMike x JJBek Highschool AU Headcanon that Nobody Asked For

Like really, nobody asked for two pairings in one headcanon. This was a random idea at 3 in the morning. Excuse this shitty sad piece of work.

This is basically Part 1 wherein I lay the groundwork. This is going to be long so go eat some food and a mug of hot chocolate while reading this. Please let me know if I should continue this. Thank you! Mickey and Otabek (The Bros)

Mickey and Otabek are best friends (mainly because Mickey knows that Beka is gay af and wouldn’t dare touch his sister, Sara). The first time they met, Otabek made it very clear that he wasn’t interested in women let alone Sara (she thought Otabek was rather cute). Like… M: (angry-threateningly) Let’s make this perfectly clear. Stay away from my sister or I will cut you in half in your sleep. O: Let’s make THIS perfectly clear. I’m not interested in your sister. S: *gasps* WHAAAAT??? M: (angry-surprised) …wha …what did you say? I call bullshit on that!!!! How can you say that so calmly?!?!?!? DON’T THINK THAT BY SAYING SUCH THINGS THAT I’LL LET YOU DATE SARA— O: I’m not interested in Sara because it’s how it is, Michele – I’m not interested in women. S: … M: …what? Sara understood what that meant immediately. Mickey took more time to get convinced.

Eventually, Mickey and Otabek bond over some little things like appreciation for good coffee, amazing literary pieces, and eventually, a love for good movies. They get to know each other better and become something like blood brothers.

People in school are afraid of Mickey (because people think he’s angry-crazy). He actually just cares too much. But he’s the best guy to go to for help with home economics stuff (but because he’s introverted as hell, he’s not used to helping people out). But he’s good with other subjects, too.

Mickey (and Sara) help out at their dad’s restaurant, which is the best one in the city, part-time. Mickey wants to take over the restaurant one day. Sara wants to do something else with her life (like being a theater actress with her “best friend”, Mila. At least, Mickey thinks they’re best friends. Otabek knows what’s up but won’t tell Mickey because he thinks Sara should do the honors.)

Otabek is a genius in music, art, and literature. He’s also quite good with history. Otabek wants to be a musician. He also DJs in his spare time. While he’s a god at dropping some fire-ass beats, he’s also experimenting with a more retro sound, like that of the 80’s.

Otabek goes to school on a foreign student scholarship, and lives with the Crispinos, and he also helps out at Mr. Crispino’s restaurant. Although Mr. Crispino, kind man that he is, is insistent that Otabek doesn’t need to work, Otabek says otherwise. At least he gets paid (and quite well) to help, and all that income is divided into 30% allowance and 70% sent back to his family at Kazakhstan (what an Ota-bae). Otabek’s allowance sometimes goes to saving up for new DJ-ing equipment.

Otabek keeps in touch with his other best friend, Yurio Plisetsky from ballet school back in Russia, through Skype (Yurio’s on tour at the moment). Every time they call, utter chaos happens in the house (ex. the police show up at the Crispinos because the neighbors heard loud screaming because of Mickey or Mr. Crispino yell at Yurio for the litany of offensive shit he says. #CrispinosHaveNoChill). Otabek still has no idea how to calm everybody down.

JJ and Emil (The Other Bros) Sidenote: I got the idea to make them best friends from this headcanon by @pasteurellapestis​. Bless them for their amazing EmiMike/MichEmil headcanons

JJ and Emil, the star hockey players of the school, basically rule the school. JJ is the well-celebrated King Bee captain and Emil is everybody’s favorite lovable dork.

They’re best friends because they both love sports, they’re both so lively it’s infectious, and they’re both the hottest guys at school. They’re both huge dorks. They’re nerdier than the science club nerds at school. Only Emil knows about JJ’s love for science.

They met back in freshman year when they both signed up for the hockey team. He saw Emil reading a science magazine and asked if he read that new article that dissected the study on positronic distillation of sub-atomic particles and why the process was impossible.

JJ’s family is loaded as fuck because they’re a family of professional athletes.

Emil’s dad designs cellphones for a huge tech company, and that’s how Emil not only got interested in technology, but it’s also how he gets a new phone every year (for free). His mom’s a doctor and is actually the Crispinos’ family physician. Her caring nature rubbed off on Emil, which explains why Emil cares so much for his loved ones. The Nekola family isn’t rich nor poor but they’re a happy bunch.

But because JJ is… well, JJ, it’s harder for him to be as endearingly nerdy as Emil. JJ has the whole cool guy branding he needs to maintain. But JJ is a huge science dork. He raves over everything new in the science world with Emil. Emil hits back with some new tech stuff.

JJ loves music. He secretly has a thing for 80’s music, especially power rock. But he doesn’t mind a fire beat every now and then, especially if it doesn’t sound either super basic or the music isn’t something annoyingly mainstream. He writes his own music sometimes. He’s also quite interested in photography. JJ sometimes crosses over to another town for photowalks because he can’t be seen in his local town because these kinds of things aren’t cool. (JJ does spot Otabek during one photowalk and wonders to himself, “Do I know him from somewhere?”)

Because Emil’s free as a bird to be himself, he’s actually part of the robotics club at school. He sometimes makes things that end up blowing up. One time, the whole school had to be evacuated because Emil’s latest robot set off the fire alarms. (Mickey scolded him for that one.)

Emil also loves anime, movies, TV shows, etc. with inventors, robots, hi-tech shit, and fantasy. He also loves “Phineas and Ferb” and the entire “Voltron” series. (He always thought of himself as Phineas and Mickey as Ferb.)

Mickey and Emil (EmiMike/MichEmil), Part 1

Mickey and Emil were childhood friends and neighbors. Their houses are next to each other’s. In fact, Emil and Mickey can see each other from their windows. Even if they both grew up and apart (or at least, Mickey thinks they grew apart), Emil still always loved Mickey.

Whenever Mickey wakes up in the morning and looks out the window, he always sees Emil waving at him (sometimes shirtless) and mouthing, “Good morning, Mickeeeey!" Mickey reacts by either yelling at him to put a shirt on or ragingly shutting the drapes.

Sometimes, Emil offers Mickey (and Otabek because Emil is such a nice guy huhu) a ride to school, to which Mickey vehemently refuses, thinking that Emil (and other guys) is just after his sister ever since puberty hit her like a big, yellow school bus.

Emil usually invites Mickey to sit with him at lunch, but Mickey regularly refuses. Mickey did sit with them once but he hated the experience because he thought JJ was radiating douchiness everywhere. (JJ is just bad at making good impressions, poor baby.)

Emil is always one to invite Mickey to go places with him: the groceries, the beach, the park, the mall, the local drive-in, etc. He even invited Mickey to dinner (just the two of them). Mickey always says no. Sometimes, Emil feels defeated because Mickey says no and sometimes doesn’t understand why his childhood friend became so distant.

Emil tried dropping shit tons of hints that it was Mickey he was interested in and not Sara, but all those hints just did was make Mickey think Emil wanted Sara. Mickey always fails to pick up those hints. Sara is tired af of her brother’s obliviousness. It’s clear to Sara and even Otabek that Emil is gay af for Mickey.

Emil confided in JJ about his feelings for Mickey. JJ was like, “Uhm, duh.” It went down like this, non-verbatim: E: Wait you knew? J: The whole school knows, man! Well, except Crispino himself. I think his sister knows, too. E: *smirks* Hmm, do you think Beka knows? J: Wh-- wha-- Beka? Who’s that? E: *teasingly* Oh, you know? Beka, our dear friend from Kazakhstan? J: Beka? Like, B-Becca Mitchell? E: *laughs his ass off* Yeah, sure. Becca Mitchell. Emil thinks JJ has a thing for Beka. And he was right.

Otabek and JJ (JJBek), Part 1

JJ, being observant as hell, always seems to notice Otabek whenever he sees the Kazakh boy anywhere. The first time he saw Otabek was at a photowalk in a neighboring town. (Otabek also noticed JJ but didn’t want to say anything. Beka thought it might not be a good idea to draw attention to JJ without the latter asking for it.) The second time was when he saw Otabek arriving to school on his motorbike (which JJ dubs as “The Otabike”). No one else except the Crispinos notices Otabek.

JJ asks Phichit Chulanont, everybody’s go-to information database, to dig up some information about Beka, to which Phichit took longer to do it than usual because Otabek hardly uses his social media accounts. Phichit had to resort to traditional investigative means to deliver.

JJ learned as much about Otabek as Phichit could uncover: that Otabek was from Almaty, Kazakhstan; that he was on a foreign exchange scholarship; that he lived with the Crispinos and works part-time for their dad’s restaurant; and that his closest friend was Michele Crispino. Basically, it was hard to find something about Beka other than that.

JJ decides to take it from here and attempt to be friends with Mickey (so he can get to Beka), only for the Italian man (who assumed that JJ wants to date Sara) to glare at the Canadian darkly and utter (of course), “You stay away from my sister or say goodbye to your dick. You pick.” JJ basically sweats nervously and quietly retreats. Otabek, who was watching the whole time, raises and eyebrow and wonders what the hell that was all about.

Otabek secretly is interested in JJ because he could see there’s something different about JJ that separates him from the other hockey players. Well, everyone knows Emil’s a dork, but with JJ, it’s something Otabek couldn’t seem to lay a finger on.

One time after PE, Otabek saw JJ step out of the shower in his post-shower naked glory. Otabek was sent to the infirmary because of extreme loss of blood. Mickey had to stay till his dad could pick Otabek up.

Otabek once told Yurio about JJ through their Skype convos and even sent pictures. Yurio thought that JJ looked like a douchebag, but willingly supports Otabek if he thinks JJ will make him happy (even if Yurio visibly cringes at the thought. Otabek smirks and laughs it off.)

Bonus Headcanons (in case y’all be wondering where everybody else is):

Phichit Chulanont is the local walking information database with huge-ass brows full of secrets. He runs the school newspaper (and its social media accounts), with Sara Crispino as his associate editor and Minami Kenjirou as a news correspondent. Phichit is also the number one source for information trading at school, but requesting for his services comes with a hefty price. Phichit sometimes uses his information to play matchmaker.

Yuuri Katsuki and Phichit are still best friends (like in canon-verse) because why the hell not. Minami usually tries to hang with them when he gets the chance. The two forget he’s even there sometimes. (There was one time when Phichit and Yuuri drove off just as Minami was about to open the door. Yikes.)

Yuuri and Victor Nikiforov are the crowned Homecoming power couple of the school. Victor is the head dance captain of the school and also rules the school alongside Yuuri. Because, well, why not? There’s no conflict of social power between Victor and JJ; Victor just doesn’t give a shit about JJ (ouch). When Victuuri walks down the hallways together, they basically come with their own theme song. (refer here)

Sara Crispino and Mila Babicheva are totally dating. Mr. Crispino whole-heartedly supports his daughter’s relationship. Mickey took more time to be convinced (especially about the existence of lesbians like wtf Mickey seriously) but came around. Sara and Mila are also part of the school’s drama club.

Leo de la Iglesias and Guang-hong Ji are also part of the hockey team and are basically falling in love with each other. Although the two haven’t said anything, JJ totally ships them. He also sees Leo as his potential heir apparent.

Chris Giacometti is the guidance counselor at school who regularly promotes safe sex when someone comes in for counseling. He gives sex advice sometimes. His most notable counseling session that came with sex adviuce was with Leo and Guang-Hong (gee, I wonder why). When the old sex-ed teacher retired, Chris immediately applied for the position (and basically sweet-talked his way to get the job). He also brings his cat to school sometimes. Chris’ husband sometimes visits and brings him lunch.

Minako Okukawa, one of the dance club advisers, just loves watching Chris’ thicc booty bounce. During trainings, Yuuri sometimes has to catch Minako-sensei’s attention back to Earth just to refocus her attention on club practice.

Georgi Popovich is the adviser of the drama club (because why not). During an “investigation”, Phichit unearthed photos of Mr. Popovich’s career wherein he played Caribose during a run of Sleeping Beauty at West End, and he looked like he applies makeup like it’s a pie to the face. No one could look at Mr. Popovich the same way again.

Phichit has a particular crush on the fashion club’s vice-president, Seung-gil Lee. Seung-gil feels the same way but doesn’t know how to express his feelings.

Yakov Feltsman is the school principal. He particularly dislikes Victor sometimes for being unconventionally rebellious and annoyingly chill. Yosek Karpíšek is the vice-principal. Lilia Baranovskaya is the head of the arts department and is sometimes confused as to why the hell she hired Minako.

Sunday, it's 2:36am in germany & i can't sleep bc an emimike prompt messed up with my brain and maybe you want to write it: Emil never believed in "Clothes make the man", until he sees Michele (his crush) in a fancy, tailored suit and things go wild from there.. :D

Oooh! I’m currently on hiatus (although, I’m doing this Voltron Bingo thing on my side blog, haha) but I love this! Because who doesn’t love Mickey in a suit? I mean, c’mon.

Emil loves comfy clothes. And when he’s not dressed up for competition or in proper gear for one of his extreme hobbies, he likes to lounge in sweat pants or loose-fitting jeans and a goofy t-shirt.

But Michele makes him want to try a little harder. Like, when they go to the club, he swaps out his graphic tee for a button-up, and his jeans for slacks. He even starts to wear that fancy cologne Sara gave him for his birthday two years earlier.

And, oh, does Michele ever notice. 

It’s just not fair, really. Because Emil was already handsome and fun. And now he’s handsome, fun, and sharply dressed. His hair slicked back and his beard neatly trimmed. Michele doesn’t just like his new look…

He swoons.

And so, they’re both falling all over themselves pining for the other and neither one knows. (I’m sure Sara will help point it out, though)

Whilst I'm on a homework break I'm gonna do some michemil headcanons! Yay ^_^

(Previous post) Emil plays the guitar, usually some cute songs. He sends them to Mickey when they're apart.

Mickey actually knows how to play violin, but only his immediate family know.

Mickey hates the colour of his eyes with a passion. They don't match anyone's besides Sara and his mother and he feels like a stand out.

Emil loves Mickey's eyes with a passion. They're so beautiful and look like galaxies.

Mickey actually has a thing for Emil. The only reason he gets protective over Sara is because he's jealous and would really like Emil for himself.

Emil has a very obvious thing for Mickey. Even though Sara is a good friend, his main reason for staying near her is so he'll always be around Mickey.

Emil is a secret chocoholic.

Mickey knows this and always brings him Italian chocolate.

Emil is very uncharacteristic when he's ill. He slumps about and hates being around people. He's scared he'll get them ill and he feels like a burden as they have to care for him. The only person he'll let near is his mother.

Mickey doesn't show much of a difference when he's ill. He'll actually rather cuddly and really relies on Emil to be near him and cheer him up.

Emil is a winter person. He loves the cold and being cuddled up with hot drinks. If he's lucky he can get body heat from Mickey.

Mickey is a summer person. He loves being hot and finding ways to keep cool. However he doesn't appreciate Emil's sweaty hugs.

Emil's favourite Disney film is wreck it Ralph.

Mickey's favourite Disney film is lady and the tramp.

Emil loves roses. White are his favourite.

Mickey always gets Emil a white rose for any celebration: valentines, birthday, Christmas. But keeps it anonymous.

Mickey loves keeping cacti.

Emil will always get him a baby cactus for any celebration but will always ask Mickey if it's okay and double clarify it's from him so Mickey knows he listens.

Mickey loves to waltz. He used to dance with Sara when they were young but now he's stuck with Emil.

Emil cannot waltz for the life of him, but if it means being so close to Mickey, he'll push through.

Mickey is scared of dentists. He absolutely hates them and has a huge fear of needles.

Emil tells everyone he's not scared of anything when in reality he's petrified of mice and rats.

Emil will stay up to watch the sunset.

Mickey will wake up to watch the sunrise.

Emil is emotionally strong. He rarely cries but when he does it's for very personal reasons.

Mickey is physically strong. He can pick a lot of people up including Emil despite his height. He also has a low pain tolerance, except for when things go into his skin.

Emil loves hot chocolate. Cream and marshmallows too!

Mickey loves coffee. The stronger the better.

Their first kiss was outside the Trevi Fountain in Italy. Emil went to visit the Crispinos for their birthday, he got them both a gift that they loved and was rather expensive. Emil wanted to take Mickey out as "his gift wasn't over." He took him to the fountains where Emil was doubting himself but told Mickey his feelings. Mickey didn't have an initial response and Emil got up to leave. Suddenly Mickey shot up and grabbed Emil's face and kissed him. They were both surprised and Mickey quickly pulled away face beet red. Yet he was holding Emil's hand all they way home.

So first we have to figure out what their usual styles are

Michele

It is canon that Sara helps Michele pick out some of his clothes, so surely his outfits consist of both her style and his own. He’s learned a lot from his sister and he actually does have a pretty good sense of style. In the show, he’s usually wearing his Italy jacket over his outfit, so unfortunately we can’t tell all that much what he wears. But one photo I do remember from the show is that Michele has this bomb ass coat:

He is also seen wearing plain t-shirts, sometimes with jackets over them.

From just these, we can conclude that he looks hella fine in darker colors

Emil

I would say Emil’s style is pretty casual, even more so than Michele. He wears a lot of t-shirts/jackets and also some beach-y type stuff. (didn’t Kubo say that at some point? I thought I remembered a tweet about Emil liking beachwear, but I could be wrong)

So here are some examples of his outfits in the show. He clearly likes jackets/vests, and he looks hot af in them

Now that we know a little bit about their usual styles, it will be easier to figure out the kind of places they shop at/types of clothes they shop for!

There is actually this brand of Italian shoe that I could def see Michele wearing and also converting Emil to wearing: Supergas. They’re basically like tennis shoes except they’re a lot classier looking, but you can get fancier/more casual ones. They’re kind of like Converse, if you know what those are. (they are super comfy!)  So since Emil is the kind of guy to wear a lot of sandals, Michele would take him to get some Supergas.

Emil probably insists on getting some weird shoes like Birkenstocks or Crocs, and Michele is honestly so disappointed™ and he’s def not letting his man walk around like that.

So one of the stores they visit (probably online, unless they’re visiting a place with one of the stores) is the Superga store

And since Emil always has cold feet, they probably shop for funky socks for him!! (I def see his as a type to wear fun socks)

Michele subscribes to fashion magazines because Sara got him into them. A lot of them include super expensive brands (Gucci, Armani, etc.)

They don’t spend all their money on expensive clothes, but they both like to look nice, and sometimes they’ll get each other expensive things as gifts

Michele gets Emil an Armani leather jacket, as well as other jackets bc he looks nice af in them

I feel like Michele would have a thing for watches, so he’d probably splurge on a nice watch

Emil!!! Wearing!!! Rings!!! (besides his wedding ring, of course)

Michele looooves to pick out the cool shit for his man (he knows Emil doesn’t expect him to get him things all the time, but he can’t help it)

Emil actually has a harder time choosing things for Michele, because as we all know, Michele is a particular man, and he’s the one that knows more about fashion

Okay but EMIL BUYS MICHELE A SPEEDO!! He knows Michele would never buy one for himself, so…that happens (let’s be honest, we all want to see Mickey in a speedo)

But they go to the beach a lot, so it’s totally necessary!

One year for Christmas, Mickey and Emil buy each other new winter coats (M and E)

Michele also gets his man more sweatshirts! Plain or printed, they all look so nice on him (plus, since they’re a bigger size than his, Mickey can wear them if he wants hehehe)

Mickey thinks he is punny, so he gets Emil this

In return, Emil buys this for him, but Michele doesn’t get the meme (smh)

OH AND EMIL BUYS CLOTHES FOR THEIR DOG!! (But only things like sweatshirts and booties for when it’s cold out and such)

But also Halloween and Christmas outfits!! (Emil insists that Michele wears the spaghetti shirt he bought him so he and their dog match)

“Look, Mickey! His winter coat is kind of like yours!”

Emil also purchases new headphones for Mickey, since he only has one pair and he fears they’re going to break (he chose blue because he knows it’s one of Michele’s favorite colors)

I could go on and on about this, but I’m gonna cut it short here. Perhaps I’ll make another post like this since this one was super fun! I did a lot of research for this, ahahah. But for some reason I couldn’t find that many Czech fashion brands? I searched for a bit but couldn’t find much, so my apologies that most of brands I specifically named are Italian.

Emimike AU headcanons

Basically Michele is a Medieval knight at Emil is his guardian angel. all set during and around the first crusade, so around 1099 AD. This was just planning for the fic for this AU i was going to write but it turned out to be more like head canons so i figured i would post them! (i will still write the fic)

Emil is his guardian angel that doesn’t seem to want to leave his side even during the crusade 

Michele acts like he thinks Emil is annoying but damn has he fallen for him

He Doesn’t quite understand how to handle these feelings so he just thinks they’re “friend crush/slight admiration feelings” 

Emil on the other hand thinks Mickey is the most beautiful human being he has ever fucking seen

Constantly is going up to Otabek (He is Yuri’s guardian angel) and telling him about what brave or amazing thing Michele did today 

“Omg Otabek you should have seen him practicing today! He was in full armor AND he was running, he didn’t even seem out of breath afterwards. He must be so strong!” “Emil, you are aware you could probably pick him up and hold him up with one arm or something” “Bekaaa that’s not the point!

Emil is so in love but thinks Mickey is totally out of his league

Spolier: he’s not. they just need a little push (possibly literally) and then they get together 

It’s probably some dramatic scene where they hastily confess feelings during a battle or something 

that or Emil lets it slip while he’s walking with Michele and its all very heartfelt and whatnot 

Also after they do get together Michele calls Emil “Angelo” and Emil calls him “Můj rytíř” 

BONUS: SOME EXTRA STUFF NO ONE CARES ABOUT 

Michele obviously uses a  Falchion Sword bc crusades 

also he us totally in the front lines, he’s an amazing knight

fights for the Kingdom of Scilly I don’t care if its inaccurate and they didn’t actually fight in the crusades ssshhh

Otabek, Viktor, Leo, Phichit, and JJ are also guardian angels but probably won’t play a big part in this fic

Lo storico portiere, Georgi, è scappato senza dir niente a nessuno

35. Who goes overboard on the holidays?

Being so family orientated, Michele does! He loves the traditions involved with holidays and has many fond memories attached to them. Decorating, cooking, baking, gift giving, he lives for that stuff. Emil goes along with it happily but would probably forget anything but Christmas. (but how cool is it that they celebrate May Day in the Czech Republic?!) 

38. Who likes to star gaze?

Emil, that sweet child! He likes to find constellations and imagine what aliens look like. He frequently drags Michele with him and gets needy, because the cosmos make him feel so small that he just needs to be held. Michele entertains him much to Emil’s delight.   

41. Who cries during sad movies?

Omg they both do! Sometimes they’re both blubbering messes. Most of the time Emil caves first and once again needs to be held. Michele will roll his eyes but on the inside he’s happy to oblige since he gets hugged in return. I can totally imagine Emil as being super tactile and basically the Cuddle King™.

headcanon - opera

Emil isn’t really a fan of opera, he’s more of a ballet guy. He enjoys opera when Michele is with him, though.

Michele, on the other hand, is crazy into opera. Especially Italian opera.

Every once in a while, the boys watch opera together. They sometimes even see opera.

Emil appreciates comical/light-hearted operas more than tragic operas. He pretty much shut down for like a day or two after seeing Tosca.

Michele particularly likes Verdi and Puccini.

Emil’s favorite opera authors are Smetana and Dvořák, because of national pride.

Emil occasionally sings arias from Prodaná nevěsta (Bartered Bride). At first, Michele was annoyed by this because a) he hadn’t seen it yet, and b) he didn’t understand what Emil was singing. After some time, though, Michele started to join in.

The boys enjoy seeing operas more than once. Sometimes they even see them in different languages.

Emil and Michele’s kids like Magic Flute a lot because of the funny costumes. Don Giovanni was a bit too scary for them, though.

That EmiMike x JJBek Highschool AU Headcanon that Nobody Asked For, Pt. II

PART I (here). Y’know, I honestly didn’t expect people to like this. Oh my god hahahaha. So I decided to continue it. I hope you guys enjoy Part II! I’ve linked several songs and remixes in this and I do not claim credit for them. All credits go to their respective owners.

So let’s get started with this. In which..

Mickey finally opens up to Emil;

Phichit is driven to deliver quality service; and,

somebody saves the school dance.

PRE-PROM

In an effort to redeem himself for what he deemed as “unsatisfactory customer service” for failing to get Jean-Jacques Leroy the information the latter wants on a certain Kazakh boy, Phichit decides to take matters into his own hands by sneaking into Mickey and Otabek’s inner circle through his associate editor, Sara. Sara agrees in the condition that Phichit helps get Mickey and Emil together so she can enjoy her relationship with Mila in peace. 

Phichit hears from Sara that Otabek does some DJ-ing on the side and even gets a listen of a Demi Lovato 90’s remix Beka was working on that he shared with Sara (and Mickey). Sara lets slip though that Beka has a weird quirk for collecting different sounds that the latter thinks could be good for some remixes. 

Believing that he’s earned Beka’s trust since he, Beka, Mickey, and Sara are hanging out at the Crispino family restaurant together, Phichit decides to subtly tip Otabek about a weird sound from the gym showers by saying that he heard something weird when he was alone at the showers after gym class a few times. 

Otabek remains stoic about the news, but is actually damn excited to collect something new for his sound archive. 

The following day, Phichit and Beka hide in one of the cubicles in the showers. One of Beka’s more powerful microphones is hiding in one of the lockers - Emil’s. Because Emil is the only person Mickey knows who has a locker at the gym showers. (Most of the lockers are exclusive to varsity players. The rest are for students’ use during gym class). 

Emil and Mickey are hiding in another cubicle together, much to Mickey’s dismay. During the stakeout, Mickey falls asleep on Emil’s shoulder but Emil just lets it happen and sleeps too (but not without taking a selfie. Fortunately, the cubicle had good lighting). 

Beka is about to give up the stakeout when suddenly, someone enters the gym showers and turns on the water. Said person starts singing “Bulletproof” by La Roux. Emil immediately recognizes the voice as JJ’s. Mickey whispers to Emil how surprised he is that JJ knows a song that isn’t the Canadian’s theme song (which was written in his honor by the music club). 

When JJ leaves the showers, Beka decides to give up the stakeout.

When Beka gets home to his and Mickey’s shared bedroom, he’s cleaning out his memory cards when he realizes that his microphone recorded JJ’s singing in the shower. Otabek began to contemplate on what to do with the recording. On one hand, it’s not his to use without JJ’s permission because it’s JJ’s voice, afterall. On the other hand, it would be nice to use it for a demo only before he can get the vocal stems. He already had an idea to mix “Bulletproof” with Agnes’ “Release Me” so why not use it just for now, right? Of course, Beka chooses to remix the song with JJ’s vocals. And actually completed the remix. Bad Beka. But at least that demo just be for personal use. Right? 

Beka eventually feels guilty for using JJ’s voice without the Canadian’s permission and revises the remix to feature La Roux’s voice instead. 

SENIOR PROM NIGHT (oh shit) 

Few days later, it’s prom season. Mickey isn’t particularly keen on seeing his little sister having a date (Mila) but has no choice but to accept it because she’s happy. And he did say that no man can go near his sister but we all know Mila ain’t no man. 

Beka isn’t interested in going, thinking with the time he would spend at prom could be time to help out at the restaurant or making a new remix. When he hears about Beka refusing to go to prom, Mr. Crispino mutters under his breath about how Beka is growing up too fast and is wasting his youth. 

Mickey is ready as hell with prom. Mickey is wearing a purple three-piece tuxedo with a white dress shirt and a purple tie. Mickey also plans on driving to prom but finds out that Sara took the car and brought it over to bring her girlfriend. “Somehow”, Emil “finds out” and waits outside for the boys so he can bring them to prom using his car. Otabek sends Mickey off by pushing the latter out the door and locking it. E: *honks car horn* MICKEEEEEYYYYY~  M: *ragingly opens the door* WHAT DO YOU WANT????? E: *laughs non-chalantly* To take you to prom, of course! M: Uhm, you do know I’m taking Sara and Beka to prom using my car, right? O: You DO know Sara took the car over to Mila’s and I’m not going, right? M: *glares at Beka* …….what? O: *unaffected by glaring* She took the car over to Mila’s. E: *smiles like the huge-ass puppy he is* Soooo does this mean I can take you to prom, Mickey? M: *looks away blushing* O: *pushes Mickey out of the house* Mickey should ride shotgun.

Mickey doesn’t speak to Beka for the rest of the night and even does the bras d'honneur at Beka as Emil drives and Mickey drive off to prom. Beka feigns offense at this as he watches from the window but is secretly amused at his friend’s awkwardness around Emil. 

Otabek goes back upstairs to his room to work on a new remix, but Mr. Crispino decides to sit Beka down and talk to him about how the teen is wasting his youth and that he should go to prom, too. 

30 minutes later, Otabek is out the door with a backpack (with his laptop in it in case he wants to bail prom and go to the local 24-hour coffee shop to just work) and his motorcycle helmet, dressed in an all-black tuxedo with a golden bowtie with matching gold suspenders. 

He makes it to prom with minimal traffic in the way and parks at the bike area (where is motorcycle is the only bike there). He enters the gym (where the prom is because of course where else would they hold it) and everybody’s dancing their butts off to Q-Feel’s “Dancing in Heaven”. Beka’s impressed that the DJ the student council hired had good taste in 80’s music. 

Beka spots Mickey and Emil stationed near the punch bowl, with Emil simply talking away while Mickey’s just quietly nodding and blushing. Mickey’s eyes meet Beka’s from across the gym. Beka gives a wide smirk while trying to contain his laughter. Mickey gestures at his bro to fuck off. Emil may have done the "Tengo ‘na Mazza Tanta!“ gesture by accident that night. 

Sara and Mila meet with Beka at the entrance and are glad he made it to prom and invite him to sit with them. Mila knows about Beka’s secret thing for JJ and tries to pry a bit by asking rather vague questions that could get Beka to talk about the Canadian, but it fails. 

When Beka goes to the bathroom, Sara peaks in Beka’s bag and she finds his laptop, which sparks a crazy-ass idea that could help Phichit and her cause. She and Mila go to Phichit and discuss a plan of action that could get Beka further within JJ’s radar. 

BETWEEN MICKEY AND EMIL: 

Mickey and Emil, meanwhile, go out for a few minutes to the parking lot to just talk (more like Mickey walks out and Emil follows him out). Mickey still is obviously not opening up, but Emil decides that they can just sit out on the curb if that’s what Mickey wants. Few minutes more of silence, Mickey finally starts talking, but it’s about Sara and how she told him during prom that they need to be more apart and that she’ll start dating whoever she wants to. This makes Mickey tear up a little bit because his whole life has had him and his sister joint to the hip and now it feels like a big part of his life is leaving him at the tender age of 18. Emil asks If it would be appropriate to hug Mickey simply to comfort his friend. Mickey is all, ”Fine, just this once.“ Emil takes advantage and hugs Mickey as tightly as he can. Mickey breaks down after that and hugs Emil back. 

BETWEEN JJ AND BEKA: 

Meanwhile, poor Jean-Jacques, in that sleek-af black suit with a green dress shirt and a navy blue tie, is dancing on his own. Funny enough, the DJ was playing "Dancing on My Own” by Robyn. Poor baby. While he was dancing, he spots Beka drinking near the punchbowl and gets nervous. He really wants to talk to the guy but doesn’t know how to start. JJ starts walking anyway, thinking what he’ll have to say will come in naturally. 

BACK TO PROM (Oh shiiiiiit):

Everything changes when the Fire Nation attacked audience starts groaning: the DJ’s left the stage and bolts to the bathroom. Few minutes of no music and just crowd noises, Phichit runs to the stage, grabs a mic, and tells everybody that the DJ’s in the bathroom because of diarrhea. (He kept secret though that Leo and Guang-hong were in the bathroom at the time getting their freak on but got turned off at the sound of diarrhea from one of the cubicles). Everyone begins to wonder what’s going to happen to the rest of the night now that the DJ’s locked in the bathroom. 

Sara and Mila nudge Beka to save the day and play a few of his mixes. Phichit, who makes his way from the stage to the trio, urges the Kazakh boy, too. Beka is hesitant to give it a shot, but Sara reminds him that this could be a big break for him as a DJ. Mickey and Emil return and are wondering what’s going on. When Phichit explains, even Mickey thinks that Beka could save the school dance. Emil says so too, even if he has no clue about what’s happening. 

Beka runs back to their table, grabs his laptop and helmet (he’ll put it on because he doesn’t want people to recognize him), and makes his way to the stage. He puts on his helmet, turns on his laptop, and gets his DJ on. Mickey, Emil, Sara, Mila, and Phichit are cheering Beka on.

The whole school’s eyes are on helmeted Beka as he plays his first song: Kesha’s “Sleazy”, which cleverly transitions into a remix of Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven is a Place on Earth” (so many kids recognized it from Black Mirror. Yakov had no idea how the hell kids know this show). Beka pulls out some more remixes and songs like Big Time Rush’s “Blow Your Speakers”, Miami Horror’s “Cellophane (So Cruel)”, an 80′s remix of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”, Years & Years’ “Meteorite”, and more. EVERYBODY’S JUST DANCING THEIR BUTTS OFF. Even Yuuri Katsuki and Seung-gil Lee engaged in a twerk-off during “Sleazy”, much to Viktor Nikiforov’s delight. He really has a thing for watching his boyfriend dance seductively with other guys.

When Beka pulls out a slow song, “Stone” by Alessia Cara, Sara and Mila are happily slow-dancing, giggling while Mila whispers sweet nothings in Sara’s ear. Mickey is sad to watch this happening, but Emil decides to help get the Italian’s mind off his sister and pulls him for a slow dance. Mickey is too tired to fight Emil’s clinginess, so he just rests on Emil’s shoulder while they dance, to Emil’s, Sara’s, and Mila’s surprise. And basically everyone else’s. 

Beka ends his set with that remix of La Roux’s “Bulletproof” and Agnes’ “Release Me” (click here). When he starts playing it, he feels like something is off with the remix but realizes it as soon as it happens: he’s playing the demo with JJ’s vocals in it. “Oh shit”, Beka curses. Beka wants to stop the song but he knows that people will notice it and the flow of his set was going so well, so he has no choice but to keep going. 

While everyone else doesn’t notice it because they’re too busy dancing, Mickey, Emil, and Phichit immediately realize it and panic a little. Sara wants to know what’s happening, but Mickey and Phichit refuse to tell her. She gets Emil to tell her, which he does because he’s bad with secrets. Everybody facepalms. 

Jean-Jacques, however, immediately recognizes his voice and wonders how the hell his voice ended up on the track. He tries to dance to keep his composure. He’ll confront that DJ later. 

As soon as the set ends, everybody’s cheering and everybody leaves prom happy. Except for Beka and the gang. Beka grabs his belongings and bolts for the door. Mickey, Emil, Sara, Phichit, and Mila run after Beka. Jean-Jacques is still shookt over what happened. 

POST-PROM (OH SHIT): 

Everyone has a car chase over to the local 24-hour coffee shop (because everyone knows this is where Beka is most likely to run to at this time and they were right because Beka’s bike was parked outside). They enter the coffee shop and find Beka slumped in his usual corner in seated fetal position. Mickey is the first to approach Beka and ask what the hell happened. Flustered Beka responds how he didn’t realize he was playing the demo with JJ’s vocals till it was too late. No one knows how Beka can recover from that incident and Beka has no idea how he can show his face at school without feeling paranoid over the incident. Everyone just decides to stay with Beka till everything was good with him. Phichit gets his selfie game on with the gang. 

POST-POST-PROM (OH REAL SHIT): 

The following Monday, Beka hitches a ride to school with Mickey and Sara. The three meet Emil, Mila, and Phichit at the parking lot. Phichit tells everybody that there’s chaos happening inside the school. They run into the building to find utter chaos. Time seemed to slow down for Beka as he saw everybody holding flyers, flyers scattered everywhere, and flyers flying everywhere as everybody is chattering and arguing loudly. Beka picks up a flyer, with an image of a helmet, and reads the words:  “WANTED ALIVE: HELMETED DISC JOCKEY FROM PROM. IF FOUND, PLEASE CONTACT JEAN-JACQUES LEROY IMMEDIATELY.”   While chaos ensues, a tall figure in a black-and-red letterman jacket (JJ), accompanied by two smaller boys (Guang-hong and Leo), stand in the middle of the corridor. JJ’s arms are crossed as his face reveals a smirk aimed right towards Beka at the other side of the hall. Beka’s worst fear from the incident has been realized: JJ LEROY IS LOOKING FOR HIM. *cues Iggy Azalea’s “Change Your Life”* 

BONUS THINGS: 

Phichit was honestly glad with the results of the stakeout. If his calculations were correct, the chances of Beka getting tempted to use the recording of JJ’s singing would be relatively hight.

During prom, Phichit, Sara, and Mila discussed their plan of action out in the corridors near Phichit’s locker. Sara knows that Beka brought his laptop with him. (She knows too well that if Beka finds a party uninteresting, he’ll make a break to go to the local coffee shop to stay there and work.) Phichit pulls out a bottle of milk of magnesia in cherry flavor from within the depths of his locker and tells Mila to get some punch for the DJ and pour a few drops of the laxative in his drink. Sara wonders why Phichit would hide a bottle of laxatives in his locker. Phichit gives a wink and says, “For emergency situations like this." 

Phichit runs into Seung-gil Lee while the trio were executing their plan. Phichit found Seung-gil absolutely sexy in his prom suit: a feathered rainbow suit with purple slacks. Phichit couldn’t stop staring at Seung-gil’s exposed chest (because that suit was really serving some sexiness with a dash of pectorals). Seung-gil gets a bit awkward but Phichit pulls the Korean boy in for a selfie. 

Celestino Cialdini, the gym teacher and one of the faculty chaperones, had to escort the sick DJ out of the school. Poor Celestino. 

Oh myyy it’s really long again haha. Oh yeah, I got the idea to use Italian gestures when I was reading through this. That gorgeous Italian man made leaning Italian much more… interesting. Haha all jokes aside, I hope you all enjoyed this. Let me know if I should continue!

Mickey freaking out at their wedding

I just got a lovely comment on one of my EmiMike fics asking about Mickey at his own wedding and I could only picture this because, wow, can you imagine how high-strung and stressed Mickey would be at their wedding? Emil would need to constantly be calming him down.

"What if I trip?"

"Mickey, you're the most graceful person I know."

"What if someone objects?"

"I don't think they will, Mickey."

"What if Emil changes his mind?"

Headcanon: Emil plays guitar (and sings)

His favourite thing to play is his cover of "hey there Delilah" when he's in Czech Republic and Mickey is in Italy. His edited the lyrics to match Mickey and every time they're apart he'll play it, send it to Mickey and tell him he misses him. Mickey replies and talks to Emil until he's asleep then late at night he'll keep replaying the video until he feels tired and he falls asleep with a smile on his face.

okay so I’ve been thinking about this for a few days, and at first I thought it was for sure Mickey. 

but no. 

it’s Emil. 

every part of him is always so warm except for his feet. the first time he and Mickey cuddled in bed, Michele gave him shit for wearing socks in bed and Emil was like “well okay, you asked for it,” and he took off his socks and Michele is like????? what are these ICE CUBES doing in the bed what the heck Emil????? but he’s not havin any of this wearing socks to bed thing, so he decides just to deal with it. 

so sometimes, in the middle of the night, Emil warms up his feet by cuddling closer to Michele because feeling the warmth on his skin is the best feeling in the world.

Michele doesn’t even complain.

Emimike/Michemil headcanons

Because it’s 8am and I don’t feel like getting up.

There’s not only an age gap between them, but also quite a big social and wealth gap, which Michele has hard time to acknowledge.

For the first few months Michele is convinced Emil really has that bad of a taste in everything. Turns out Emil just don’t have as much money as him and took advantage of it by creating the shittiest style possible.

Emil cooks, Michele cleans. Or, he starts cleaning after Emil realizes Michele does nothing around he house.

They own an overpriced coffee machine that Emil doesn’t even know how to plug into the wall.

Michele drinks about three cups of coffee a day, Emil doesn’t say a word, even though the smell of coffee makes him sick.

Emil’s socks are E V E R Y W H E R E

Michele’s a freak for symmetry and Emil wearing two different socks every day made him really uncomfortable at first.

Michele lowkey loves gardening. They have little vegetable and flower patches behind the house that he takes care of and brings home fresh flowers every Friday in summer.

Whenever Emil participates in one of his extreme sport events, Michele is dying with worries. He’s really happy Emil does this and that it makes him happy (not to mention he’s really good!), but he hates it because it’s so dangerous and that frickin’ Czech idiot is playing with his life again!

They are very respectful to each other and never force the other into something he doesn’t want. Except of Emil literally dragging Michele outside for a walk every not-so-often. Mickey tends to stay at home most of the time, he’s quite introverted.

Michele has some serious trouble getting used to Czech cuisine. He really wants to, it just doesn’t taste good to him. He keeps trying, though.

Michele doesn’t know a word of Czech. They always speak English and Italian in their house. Emil misses Czech, though.
