yes, save dead boy detectives. yes, save good omens. yes, continue sandman. but fucking fire neil gaiman first. have him renounce his royalties. the lump sum for the rights, the producer/writer salary, any residuals. if that doesn’t happen (and it seems unlikely), then don’t go ahead with the shows. don’t give him more money.

his backing out voluntarily or being forced out of financial benefit is a prerequisite for my willingness to support any of these projects in the future. i hope it is for you, too.

these shows and their accompanying works are dear to me. dbd is one of my favourite shows of all time. i want it to go on for so many reasons. but not at the price of funding an alleged predator. go was formative for one of my own writing projects, and it’s influence is seen in a lot of my writing. but i can’t in good conscience support go itself as long as he’s involved. sandman is brilliant and i’m fully emotionally invested. but i won’t invest financially unless he’s gone.

the other wonderful and talented people involved in these projects deserve to continue them. ng doesn’t. the casts, crews, other writers, and specifically terry pratchett, they deserve these things. the fans deserve them. we can make these our own, but only if neil is gone first.

A very fun crossover fic I've made! With everyone's favorite blond who tried so desperately to prove the afterlife existed from the hit cult classic Flatliners~ and the extremely unknown brunette doctor played by Michael J. Fox~

Summary:

When the young, upcoming, cocky Doctor Benjamin Stone misses his turn, crashing into the fence of local judge his big shot LA surgical ans get whisked away for a couple days while serving his court order community device at the local doctors office.

They become even more complicated when someone gets rushed in, mumbling with a small head injury from their car accident. Only for the victim to also be served hospital community service.

Issues arise fast when he learns just how I'll his new helper is, how they both accidentally crashed their cars in such a small town, and how they're both on a too-tight schedule it seems..

the fact that Mike was not only the head writer but also composed a vast majority of the music on mst3k really just speaks to how freakin all encompassing his talent is

The final records weren't always meant as such as we have seen in our cases here. While we mostly mentioned some bands in that regard, even solo musicians make their last albums without being aware this would've been their ends. I mean, Prince settled on a certain groove on his later records, where one cannot claim he coasted on his former glories, he just did what he wanted to do like always. Still, these later LPs showed we took him for granted before his death. I agree, few of these attempts reach the heights of his 80's, though there are some gems in them that present you with someone who could still be capable of greatness, he just needed a brave editor to focus. You are correct – who would've been foolish enough for that?
