29 – Does your OC have kids? If not, would they like to be a parent? Do they like kids? (If your OC is a kid, how do they feel about adults?)

Claryce adores kids and is very good at entertaining them! She won't shy away from babysitting a kid or two should someone need a hand... Can't say no to some extra money.

(She'd actually love her work at the school library if it weren't for the poor working conditions, the bad pay and Bart's occasional pranks.)

Speaking of babysitting- there's an episode idea I mentioned earlier that I kept for this specific question. (For some context, the episode "Bobby it's cold inside" implies Bob and Francesca have divorced. I hc it could be linked the happenings in "Funeral for a Fiend", where the whole Terwilliger family - Francesca and Gino included - end up in prison.)

After not giving news for what seemed like an eternity, Bob shows up yet again at Claryce's place to ask her a favor: babysit Gino while he and Francesca would deal with, well, their divorce. While she's a bit reluctant to help (she's still salty about the fake funeral mishap), she can't say no to a kid. Except Gino speaks very few English, and Claryce's Italian is awfully rusty- so after much consideration, she decides to ask Fat Tony (her uncle) for some help. Cue the Italian Mob inviting her to bring the kid to their hideout and hang with them so she could get back in touch with her Italian roots. And eventually, Gino would also get to learn a bit of English- as well as a bit of French, just so he could say his favorite words in other languages...

A fun cultural exchange that would reassure Francesca and make it that Bob would be able to see more his son than what was originally planned in the divorce procedure. Everyone wins! Claryce would still occasionally babysit Gino once in a while - she and Francesca would end up becoming good acquaintances - moments during which she would always spend time with the Italian Mob - giving her the occasion to feel a bit more connected to her Italian roots and her family.

Even if the kid still gives her some mishap for being the likes of his father.

I like to think Fat Tony would end up liking the kid's spirit, too.

As for parenthood, she sadly learns that she's infertile after a mishap concerning a missed period. While she would have loved to be a mother, she doesn't want to fight through tiring medical procedures, so she'll just be happy to take care of Gino whenever he's around. She'll still feel pretty conflicted about her place as a woman, in a city that will keep shoving her ideals of the nuclear family and the housewife life.

31 – Is there a character your OC doesn’t get along with, or consider as an enemy? Do they tend to avoid them or, on the contrary, do they strive to make their life hell?

If there's one thing Claryce doesn't want, it's enemies- so even if she had one, she'd make sure to avoid them whenever possible.

Her father is the first person she'd avoid most - especially the moment she'd learn he came back to Springfield. Then her mother too, when she gets a bit too nosy.

As for actual characters of the show, I can imagine Claryce avoiding Herman Hermann since I hc her father would get with him and often visit his shop to get his gun fixed or have a chat about "the good old times". You know the saying- the friend of my enemies are my enemies. So she doesn't think twice and would rather not interact with Herman, unless she had to (which is unlikely). Aaaand I like to think she had a gaming/fandom rivalry with Comic Book guy at first- but they eventually got to become friends (and even dated before realizing they were better off as friends).

Oh and of course, as a radical lefty, she doesn't feel any sympathy for Quimby, and simply won't show up at the public meetings. Truly a waste of time to her eyes. And she'd celebrate any moment Burns would be thought to be dead. Something about hating rich CEOs, you know. Claryce vc "Who's a good CEO shooter, who iiiis? It's Maggiiiiie! ♥"

Just another day at the "Legitimate Businessman's Social Club".

Business has been good and Fat Tony is having such a fine time with his family, both by blood and those connected to him. As there is nothing better than mixing good company and good spirits. That and, despite the club being below street level...The view ain't so bad.

Lynsie, as the unofficial bar mom, often brings in the food she makes to surprise the guys. Holding a soft spot for little Michael, and Fat Tony himself, she will go the extra mile to spoil the D'Amico men that she sees as deserving of some genuine positive attention. Can't go wrong with homemade jumbo cheesecake.

While Michael may be leaning more toward the path his Papa wants him to travel, he knows it's done so out of love. However, he is still passionate about cooking and is really grateful there is someone who supports his dream. It wasn't hard to figure out who gave him cookbooks for his birthday.

Worry not for what's happening in the back room. You ain't see nothing.

Johnny is pissed at Frankie for squealing to his gal about him staying out late and getting blitzed, so...He's getting choked out for getting Johnny in hot water.

Since it's a running joke that, no matter what horrible things happen to him, Frankie bounces back like nothing...I headcanon Frankie as semi-immortal. He can age and die, but it's specific and the mob hasn't figured it out yet so they keep him around because they don't want others to have him.

(If you're wondering why she is so discolored compared to the others, it's because she's pale due to years of introverted-ness. If out in the sun proper, like a beach trip, she tans up bronze as her mixed Cuban blood intends. Which blends in with the olive complexion of her Italian associates.)

Well since you mean the boys and not my oc as well I'll just pop off about the boys

Louie will drop info at the most inconvenient of times, for example Louie has info drop when he and Legs were killing someone and Louie looked dead into Legs eyes and said “Gorillaz noses are like fingerprints„

Johnny doesn't talk a lot because of trauma

Legs paints to relax, Louie draws, Johnny reads, Michael bakes, Tony listens to music and Frankie writes

Frankie is a great story teller

Spy kids is Louie and Michael's favorite movie

Louie has to use detangler

Johnny uses three in one shampoo, conditioner and body wash

Michael still likes Lisa but understands her dislike of the family business

First off ... I want to sincerely apologize to anybody who had been patiently waiting for me to update my fanfic for so long :(

Secondly ... I am honestly amazed that I still receive views and the occasional message from people who have read my Simpsons fanfic that I started way back in 2015! Though the planning for this story started back in 2013 :)

My life has changed quite a bit since then ... the world changed a bit, too ... so many political movements ... contemporary trends ... etc!

But my candle for Michael D'Amico and Lisa Simpson (and my other shippings from my fanfic hehe) still burns strong <3

I wanted to let you know that my story has not finished yet. Not the least.

Of course, my ideas have slightly changed and grown into other things over the years, but I promise to those who are still following my story that I will post the rest of what I had originally planned to write.

I'm still writing the 5th chapter rewrite. It's coming for sure!

But for this Tumblr blog, I might just use this as a space for posting notes about the fanfic - for example: upcoming plots, extra context for each character, alternate stories (or stuff I meant to use but decided against/deleted), or information on any real life events that I got my influence for a chapter from, etc.

For now, I've password-protected the blog to avoid any weird web crawlers. I only want people who are genuinely interested in reading my notes. (Psst.... it's just "Simpsons" without the quotation marks...and yes, including the capital S )

I can't guarantee how quickly I will write subsequent chapters after the fifth one ... but if there is enough interest/active following, it will for sure motivate me to write more quickly!

So please ... if you do follow, please feel free to message me about it, leave reviews of my chapters, or tell me what your headcanon is regarding Michael and Lisa (which now seems to be a legit shipping category in various Simpsons fan communities!), or if you like any of my weird shippings (I almost gave away a spoiler lol), or what you'd like to see me include in my story ... let me know :)

Enjoy my rant of me creating a found family trope out of the freaking mafia

Listen, there are plenty of moments in the show where the wiseguys appear that makes them seem like a family. Obviously, Tony is the father because he always seems like a good guy when taking care of his friends and also because he has a son of his own, So I'd imagine his father instincts also come in handy for his gang members. Then Legs I mean he is already seen as like the Caretaker of the gang, he is know to be a experienced Mob Doctor and possible Therapist. So he'd be the guy that would visit you while you were sick at home and bring food. But since we're talking family-wise, I'd say he's the oldest of the family. First-born and has seen so much chaos through-out his life. He possibly matured at a young age after his two siblings were born and so is just vibing. A brother that just sits on the couch, listens to you if you have problems but mainly just there to chill. Not that much at home because of his own life and would be considered the thanksgiving sibling who only comes like-- maybe one time each four months. Then there's Johnny, the ain't saying nuthin type, who really is just a caporegime and not actually part of Fat tony's inner circle which would make sense since he's betrayed them like three times. Like his nickname, Johnny says very little, which often makes it hard to figure out what his personality is like. BUT he seems like the serious and self-reserved type, takes his job serious and can be a bit annoying at times. I guess he could be the type of older brother that has already done every single little party trick in the book and now being grown up and better knowing, he lectures his younger siblings how to be safer in life and gives them tips to not get caught by the police like he once got. Oh yeah, he definitely had a wild young adulthood, if you know what I mean~ Since Frankie is never that much around and involved in the shenanigans with the others, possibly because of his squeamish nature, I still wanna include him since he's part of the family. Frankie is THAT younger brother, the one who you would need to always keep an extra eye on him because if you look for just ONE SECOND away he has already ate a flower to find out what it tastes like, beat down a bee hive to just wanna say hi to the friendly bees and has most definitely ate sand. Nonetheless, he's a bit much. And Louie, the baby of the bunch, who is just so clingy to Tony that it's adorable. He always makes himself wanna be useful and overall gives off major baby vibes. Though don't let that cute image of him get to you, he's still a skilled hit-man who isn't afraid to kill or wound anyone that stands in his way .... though personally I can't even imagine him killing someone because he's such a baby There was one episode, I can't remember the title, there was one where Louie was seen in the background of a meeting held at the elementary school along with a bunch of other people. When Skinner announced that they were no longer giving away free cookies, Louie was one of the many people that left AND ALSO Along with Fat Tony and Legs, Louie has been seen attending the monthly pancake dinner at the Springfield Catholic Church AND He owns a 'Folk Diva Mix' CD that includes Janis Ian's "At Seventeen." How much more baby can it get?! Safe to say, he's the baby. Papa's favorite boy and so innocent. He's like that one baby brother the other siblings would absolutely kill people over if they even dared to hurt him. Jesus, look at me- I am creating a found family trope out of a literal mafia Meh, at least it's cute to imagine though

Dark Horse and Lucasfilm Publishing have announced a Bad Batch solo comic miniseries. Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents is written by Michael Moreci and illustrated by Reese Hannigan, with Elisabetta D’Amico, Michael Atiyeh, and lettering by Comicraft.

The Bad Batch clones are said to have a 100% success rate, but this time they may have met their match.
