you're at your desk and you're looking at those cheesy little things couples get. like the moon or the bracelets that buzzes the other when you touch it, or maybe even the ones that show a message you type. like, yes, you can video call and you can text and you can literally joke and say i miss you come back and he'd be there so quick like-

Micah Yujin. The man you met at a hacking convention and lost to. The loss made you feel petty to the point where you decided to try and hack him. Unfortunately for you, you didn’t get in. But little did you know that later that day you would be getting a message from a certain someone wanting to video call with you. 

That’s how you and Micah met. It’s been a while since you’ve known him for about five months at this point and every second you’ve known him you have been happier. Just the thought of Yujin made you feel like your heart was melting.

He also knew how to  get to you in the best way possible. Also he was gorgeous, funny, thoughtful, and kind

He was perfect.

But you knew you could never have him; He was completely out of your league and you knew it. He was twice the person you were.

And plus you’ve been nothing but cocky and borderline rude to him. There is no way in hell he’d ever catch feelings for you. But you didn’t really wanna think about it, but it was hard not to.

When you thought about Micah and how much you loved him; Your mind went to how he could never love you and one day it slipped out.

You told him how you felt.

And you left the call and blocked him before he could even respond in fear of rejection

For the next week Micah had been trying to get in touch with you, but you would never respond to him.

So he took matters into his own hands. He went to your house.

So after 6 hours of travel all he’d have to do is get to your house but first he had to do something

Micah spent the next few hours going to the mall and buying you things you may have  mentioned one time to him maybe once, but he figured you like whatever you may have mentioned to him.

So once he had your favorite flowers. 

 Micah Yujins next plan of action was to go to your house. But at this point it was 11pm so he went back into the car he rented and slept that night in the mall's parking lot.

The next day Micah went to your house at around 9am. 

You were eating an egg sandwich when you heard a knock on your window. At frist you thought it was nothing but when you heard it a second time you went to go see what it was. Maybe it was a bird who didn’t get that there was glass right there or maybe it was a group of kids throwing stuff at your window

It was Micah Yujin, the male you had blocked a couple weeks ago at your window, tearing up his tears about to fall out. With his dorky smile and his messy hair in a silly cat hoodie and a bag with stuff in it.

You open the window and you hear his beautiful voice saying “Hey angel, been a while huh?”

It was a knee jerk reaction he promises. Did he want to hang up? No of course not. Did he want you to see him loose his shit completely? Absolutely not. He wasn’t gonna give you the satisfaction of having bested him. Though he has to admit…. Hanging up wasn’t really the best way to fight back.

The conversation had started off as it usually did, the usual banter and whatever topics you two could think of. Then you suddenly stopped the conversation to ask if you could give a gift. At first he assumed you were sending him food or a toy of some sort like he usually did for you, so he absentmindedly said yes. Suddenly a bunch a windows began popping up on his screen. He quickly went to his kitchen for a cold bottle of water. When he returned the photos were still there on his computer screen teasing him, or rather tormenting him. Damn you were hot it wasn’t fair. Now that he was calm he called back, smiling as if nothing happened.

“See, the called dropped thats all, nice try though angel!” You raised a brow at him, still not believing him.

“Yeah sure. In that case you wouldn’t mind me sending more right?” You smirked at him as he gulped at your question.

“Y-yeah! I can totally handle any little trick you’ve got up your sleeve!” He triedhis best to look confident but the red on his cheeks and ears said otherwise. So you decided to send more. You had plenty since you wanted to take the perfect photo. He couldn’t see you cause his screen was covered in photos but you could see him. He was trying to keep his cool but the blush was quickly spreading to the rest of his face.

“OK OK FINE YOU WIN! Please, my poor little heart can’t take it… you’re too sexy! Any normal person would have passed out by now!” You couldn’t help but laugh at his response.

“At least you know you’re no where near normal.” He smirked at you, now back to his usual smug self.

“Of course. I wouldn’t have been able to make you fall hopelessly in love with me if I was some normal guy. Just who do you think you’re talking to angel?”

“A dumbass thats who.” You both busted into laughter. It was the small moments like this that had you hooked on each other. Even when you bickered or try to best each other there was always a hint of love behind it. Like Micah said, no one normal could make you feel the way he does.

He’s a bastard.

He shouldn’t be finding this nearly as charming as he is. Micah was sure you’d no doubt be cussing him out as the weirdo he is if you could hack your way into his inner monologue right about now. Not that it was ever particularly hard to guess what he was thinking…

But you’re much too weak for that at the moment. Shivering under a mountain of blankets, a cool rag resting on your forehead to try and reduce the fever you were sporting. Snotty and clammy looking, and yet Micah couldn’t get enough.

He chalks his spike in affections up to seeing a new side of you- you’ve been almost painfully forthright with him since he arrived. He finds your dependence on him incredibly endearing. It helps reassure him that no matter how sharp your tongue, you feel safe enough with him to let him see you this vulnerable.

And it’s not like he minds spoiling you a bit :)

“Alright angel, soups on” he coos, carrying over a bowl. He sits himself on the edge of your bed, offering up a spoonful to you after blowing on it gently to help it cool. You give a weak shake of your head, it’s frankly all you can muster at the moment, which makes Micah frown in turn.

“I know you feel like crap, but this will help- promise. It’ll warm you up… you can manage a few bites, yeah?” he presses. A few beats pass, but slowly you shift to a sitting position.

“That’s it baby” Micah praises with a grin. The way your skin flushes just a shade darker at his praise makes Micah think that not all of it is because of the fever…

He drops words of encouragement after every bite you take, allowing you to tap out when half the bowls contents are drained.

“I knew you could do it! How was it?” He asks, setting the bowl on your nightstand in order to give his full attention to you.

“I can’t really taste anything… but it did help warm me up” you admit. Who’d have thought that the first time you’d be trying Chef Micah’s food would be when you couldn’t taste at all?

He smiles once more, leaning over place a lingering kiss on your forehead.

“M-micah” you scold with a shudder. His lips feel incredibly warm, not to mention you’re a bit sensitive from the achiness of your cold.

“Still hot” Micah assesses, ignoring your fluster.

“You could have used your hand… or the thermometer” you pout, laying back down. “You’ll get sick”

A soft smile breaks out at your concern for him. “Awww I didn’t know you cared so much, Angel”

“I don’t… I just don’t want to drop everything to take care of you if you get sick” you grumble back. It just makes Micah’s grin grow further. If you’re well enough to start sassing him back, then you must be on the up an up.

Under normal circumstances, he’d tease you back “It means so much to me that you’d take care of me when I’m sick <3″, but he lets it slide. “Well lucky me, my immune system is as solid as a rock angel. Impenetrable” he replies instead.

You barely hum in response, looking like you’re just about ready to dose off again. Micah moves to grab your rag, preparing to fetch you a new one when you grab his wrist.

“Thank you Micah…” Maybe it’s the fever making you delirious, or maybe it’s the fact that you’re looking at him with so much sweetness, but it makes his heart jump in his throat. He has to physically restrain himself from snuggling you to death in that moment, sickness be damned.

“Anything for you”

He switches your grip so that he is now holding onto your hand, laying a featherlight kiss onto the back of your it before leaving the room, bowl and rag in hand.

You smile, squeezing the plush he gifted you weeks ago just a little tighter before drifting off to sleep…

DID SOMEONE ASK FOR MICAH YUJIN CONTENT??? I mean no not directly to me but I’m doing it anyway he’s hot leave me alone

Micah has always teetered between being flirtatious and easily getting flustered. Normally he manages to get the upper hand but there’s one instance where there was no winning and you never let him live it down.

It was about three months into your relationship and you hand came up to him randomly with a question he never thought you’d ask him.

“Hey is there a particular pet name you want me to use? You always call me angel it’s weird that we’ve been together this long and I either call you Micah or dumbass…”

If he was honest he low key thought dumbass was your pet name for him and he gladly accepted it because he knew it was purely out of love but he said he didn’t have one in mind and that you could choose whatever name you wanted for him. He didn’t realize how much danger that suggestion put him in until it was too late.

Every day you tried a different pet name for him. At first he didn’t think it would phase him too much but once you started doing it without warning his heart couldn’t take it. The first time you called him baby he swore his heart stopped. It didn’t help that you’d start playing coy when he’d ask you to take it easy on him.

“What? You said I can choose your pet name. i gotta test my options here.”

“Yeah but I don’t think my heart can take all these tests…”

In reality you were just trying to see which name would fluster him the most but it wouldn’t be any fun if he knew that.

After a few days you finally found the perfect name. It was mid day and you’d finally finished up your work for the day. When you got back to your home Micah was in the kitchen making something quick to snack on. He turned to look at you when you walked in and smiled.

“You’re home! I misses ya angel~”

You gently caressed his face and smiles before pecking his cheek.

“I missed you too my pretty boy.”

He froze in his spot. He wasn’t sure which part was making him short circuit more, the fact that you called him pretty or the fact that you’re so blatantly calling him yours. He face was burning as he was processing what you just called him and to make matters worse his brain decided the best course of action was to run and hide in the bathroom. He was even more embarrassed as he heard your cackling from behind him. He just couldn’t take it. The way you looked at him, the way it rolled off your tongue so sweetly, like that had always been his name. He was your pretty boy and he couldn’t take how much he liked it.

Of course you had to add salt to the wound by knocking on the door to tease him more.

“Whats wrong Micah? You don’t like the pet name? I happen to really like it! I mean, you’re very pretty, and definitely mine I don’t see the issue.”

He ended up darting out of the bathroom to pull you into a hug and bury you into his chest, anything to get you to stop making his heart race like it was. Before he’d have to fight you just to admit you thought he was cute or to tell him you like him. He doesn’t know when you started becoming this bold and open about how you feel about him but he isn’t sure if he can take it. Don’t get him wrong he loves it but he’s not sure his poor heart can take the heart attacks you’ve been giving him.

“Angel, you’re trying to kill me aren’t you? My poor heart is gonna give out with how much you’re making it race…”

Now a days you call him that name at random just to see him freeze and blush. He can’t help it, something about you claiming him like that just sends him reeling. And of course every time he does you take that chance to tease him, asking if he needs to go to the bathroom.

I’m brainrotting about how Micah would propose to his Angel… would it be an accidental slip up where he spoke without thinking?? Would he meticulously plan every detail of the event?? Would the plan completely blow up in his face and right as he’s giving up ANGEL PROPOSES TO HIM??? The people need to know!!!

Everything was in place. Everything was going just as he wanted. It was the two year anniversary of when you had started dating and he was finally gonna do it. He was gonna propose to you. In reality he had wanted to do this after the first 6 months of dating but he was worried you’d say it’s too soon or get creeped out by him.

He had the perfect plan. He rented out a truck and filled the bed with blankets, pillows and stuffies, a fluffy paradise. He was gonna drive you outside the city and away from the lights to watch a movie under the stars. And when you guys and laying back enjoying the night he’d get up and get one knee and boom! Fiancé status.

For the most part everything was going perfectly. You were so excited when he pulled up in the truck and even more so when he got to the spot he had scouted out days ago. He was so glad he got the truck. The last time he tried to have an outdoor movie night it was hell trying to figure out a power source. With car to house outlet adapter he had all the power he needed. Just like on your first date you watched a couple of cheesy romance movies and ate snacks. It wasn’t until you two were laying down and looking at the stars that he started to get nervous.

“Y-you know angel… I know I say this a lot but, I’m so glad I met you. You are such an amazing person and I think I’m lucky to know you the way I do. This has been the best two years of my entire life, and I’ve got you to thank you for that cutie~” he had a big grin on his face as he spoke. You looked at him and raised an eyebrow at him.

“You’re being extra mushy today… what you about to propose to me or something?” You started to chuckle but Micah looked at you completely flabbergasted.

“…How did you???” You paused for a moment.

“WAIT WERE YOU ACTUALLY ABOUT TO PROPOSE!?”

“WELL NOT ANYMORE THE MOMENT IS GONE!”You started to panic as Micah turned bright red from embarrassment.

“WAIT WAIT NO PRETEND I DIDN’T ASK THAT KEEP GOING.” Micah looked up in surprise as you asked him to continue.

“Wait… you really wanna get married? To me?” He looked at you anxious for your answer.

“Of course I do dumbass, you are the most amazing person I’ve ever met. I’d be an idiot not to say yes to you.” Micah started to tear up but stopped and sniffed as he sat up and got on one knee. He pulled out a small box and opened it, revealing a simplistically beautiful ring. He knew you didn’t like things too showy but he also wanted people to notice that you were taken taken. The ring he chose did just that.

“Then, y/f/n y/l/n, will you allow me the honor of changing your last name to Yujin?” You smiled and cupped his cheeks and kissed him softly.

“I’d love to be the next Mr/Mrs/Mx.Yujin.” You held out your hand as Micah excitedly put the ring on your finger before tackling you back into the pile of pillows and blankets, clinging to you as tight as he can.

“We’re gonna get married~! I’m so happy~!” He started planting kisses all over your face before you both settled down and went back to looking at the stars, but he wasn’t just looking at the stars with his partner anymore. He was looking at the stars with the person he was gonna spend the rest of his life with.
