asked some of our friends who haven't watched mianite to identify characters from the series. here are the results (posted with permission :D)

Happy 10th – Here's a Present

If you're reading this, know that I would like to spend the 50th Mianite anniversary with you as well. The memories will only get better. I've been on the DL about my Mianite activities since Season 2, but the truth is that back in 2021-2022 I played in a private Mianite RP with some dear friends. There were five or six of us at a given time (the ideal number). We were passionate. The only thing we lacked was the ability to stream. So the whole thing was a sand castle. We did it because we loved it. Then it was gone with the tide. One of the coolest things we did in that RP was develop the character of World Historian. Yes, the black-hooded edge lord who farmed the insecurities of his own kids until the world they loved (Ruxomar) was a lifeless husk. Botan Kikoku, we used to call him. Bearer of the Kikoku blade. He's grown up a lot since 2015.

And what's up with his head? Well, let's just say he's done some work on his crown chakra. He used to destroy worlds like so...

Invidere used to be a dinky wannabe samurai sword.

Now it – forgive me, HE – is a gigantic axe-headed snake made of chisel bits. (Screenies don't do his majestic coils justice. Thank robotmothpie for trying, though.)

There's much more to tell. Scream at an ear-splitting decibel if you liked this teaser and require more World Historian content. I still have his account, by the way. I wonder what I could possibly do with it.

Sometimes I think about mianite and think about how long the life of an immortal is and how it's not this fun whimsy thing. I wish more interpretations of immortality showed the pain it causes and I think mianite could do that or show how cruel time can be like you are stagnant and the world moves on i mean that's some proper spiralling thoughts.

Just like! Even just a year is a long time. Imagine five. Ten. Now Imagine hundreds. I can't. I can't imagine the pain of immortality and I find it so fascinating to try.

Featuring ex-Dianitee/Bellinite's champion Techno (who was hanging around Tom and the other Dianitees in the S1 worlduntil he accidentally awoke said ancient-blood god after ringing a bell he found underground mining) -and Ruxomar Ianitee Philza, who actually met Spark first before he knew Jordan when he visted Dagrun on a vacation (normally he worked in an Ianite temple near Urulu)

After S2, Phil ends up in the S1 universe where he meets Techno and yall know how the story goes after that

In the book Ianite’s Dream #2, S2 Ianite speaks about both herself and her S1 counterpart in first person, and it was giving me a headache trying to read. So here it is color coded. [Jordan’s POV: Collecting Ianite’s Books (S2 Ep. 46)]

So where I walk is where the four have been. Other Spark once stood in this hallowed hall, beseeched me with formalities, appealed to my divinity.

But the Spark of Ruxomar – my Spark Plug – is here.

And when he sees me, he knows it is not me. I call him Hero. I wish I could say more. But I am not me. I am Other Me.

He is grey and weary of his ten year purgatory. My dear man, do not die. Come back to me. He traveled here to save his

world, and now is blocked from it. The void will not open.

I send him on a quest to lift the god that has been killed – Other Dianite. In both worlds he must rise.

I call my love Captain, but know he is Admiral. I cannot say what I wish to say. He turns in sadness, sensing loss. He wishes me boisterous, biting, impolite, like I am. Or perhaps I really am stifled like in the dream – a regal figurehead bestowing favors, hearing prayers, vanishing like light – and in Ruxomar am

frivolous, a poor goddess.

He leaves. I float above my altar, dignified. My husband, my life! I am trapped within my body. If only I could speak these thoughts. But she is in control. Does she hear me pounding in her mind? Does she know these yearnings? Will she dream of them tonight? Will she tomorrow open her voice and laugh?

Will she steal my love from me?
