Even more so given how AHOL continues to grow as both an artist and person. Warsaw Ballroom @ 1450 Collins Ave Miami Beach. Fever Crew flashbacks right here. Iconic facade and spot for sure, OG’s know. There’s a saying, “If these walls could talk, they’d scream.” Facts. Built in 1940 by Henry Hohauser, this art deco gem began its life as Hoffman’s Cafeteria, an old school Jewish joint. By the mid 70s it became Warsaw Ballroom, a dance hall for senior citizens. WB closed by ‘81 but reopened in ‘86 as “Ovo at the Warsaw Ballroom.” The following year it became The China Club but by '89 it went back to Warsaw Ballroom ushering in its most historic, infamous time as one of the premier party spots in Sobe history. If you didn’t party here in the 90s then you didn’t party. By 2000 it became Jerry’s Famous Deli which had a solid run 'till 2014. Since 2015 it has been Señor Frogs. Ain’t too many spots in the world that evolved from a deli to dance hall to gay club to rave club to a place where even Gianni Versace threw parties. Hands down one of the coolest most historic structures in 305 which always takes me back to mid 90s Fever Crew days. Respect 🙏 (📷: Uncredited)

#Repost @arbetterhotdogs ・・・ Cont...the next morning around 10 AM I get a call from Abel. He’s excited to talk and tells me he has a great idea. So, I say let’s hear it. He says he wants to hook up @aholsniffsglue and Arbetter’s in a monster collabo to create an incredible counter. I told Abel great idea let’s hear what Ahol thinks. About an hour later Abel calls me back and said Ahol loves Arbetter’s grew up on it and wants to meet. Of course I was giddy and said make it happen. So, the next week me, Abel, Ahol Sniffs Glue and @notorious_nastie meet up at Arbetter’s. We hit it off like old friends. Next thing you know Ahol stuck his hand out...and I shook it! Done deal. Five months later, after the counter and counter top were completed Ahol (the Great!) worked his magic on our counter top. We told him to paint it however he wanted. We truly believed in Ahol as an artist and as a great human being and he had Carte Blanche and artistic freedom to do as he saw fit. He ended up going with a mustard and ketchup color and IMO painted a true work of art! So, that’s our counter story! A million thanks to Ahol, Abel, Nastie, @hungryantsmedia, miamistadium, Nelson and all the boys!, @pattyarbetter and anyone else I forgot who helped out!
