Huh, that's very true, Mia does look a lot like Mr. Verity, the same eye color and hair color, that same determination, she is indeed a lot like her dad.

Also, the fact that he carried a picture of younger Mia with him is adorable, though the fact that he uses her birthday as his password for most things is... well, quite the security risk, I had almost the same reaction as Samuel once I learned that detail.

Ok ok okok So. I managed to finish watching an Enigma do Medo demo playthrough (because shitty computer couldn't handle it, sadly) and something is stuck to my brain ever since. Spoilers ahead

This is the first time us, as the players, get to see Mia listen to her own father's voice after who knows how long.

And it's a tape that was registered on top of Abraham's recordings of the abuse he made his family go through and his obsession over some type of "purpose".

The??? Clear juxtaposition of both a father that was loved to the point of his daughter risking her life to search for him, and a father that was feared by its own family, his abuse culminating to his death...

Enigma do Medo/Enigma of Fear

Hello Tumblr users! Do you love horror? Love puzzles? How about female protagonists? Cute dog companions? Enjoy supporting indie games?

I have the game for you!!!

Enigma do Medo, or Enigma of Fear in English, is a puzzle/horror/investigation game about a girl named Mia and her dog Lupi searching for her lost father in a mysterious house, previously inhabited by a family afflicted by the paranormal. Mia has to solve puzzles and find clues in order to discover what really happened in the house and to, hopefully, save her dad, Senhor Veríssimo (Mr. Verity), the head of the paranormal investigation agency they are both a part of.

Enigma do Medo's FREE demo is out now on Steam for the Steam Scream festival and the full release will be out November 28th of this year-- that's less than a month away! The game has been in the works for four years now and is finally coming out after a ton of hard work.

Enigma do Medo is translated into English and Spanish along with the original Brazilian Portuguese and has some incredible voice acting along with an amazing pixel-y/2-D and 3-D art style!

There are snarky NPCs, you can pet your dog companion (as many times as you want, even!), and the puzzles are exciting and tie in with the game's narrative.

Enigma do Medo is being created by Brazilian content creator Rafael "Cellbit" Lange and Brazilian games studio Dumativa. It's based off Cellbit's TTRPG show and system, Ordem Paranormal (Paranormal Order), which also delves into the paranormal (obviously), with tons of cool monsters and interesting narratives about human choices and survival. Enigma do Medo is an independent story, meaning you don't need to have seen Ordem to play it, although if you have seen it, it provides some fun background info.

(If you're interested in the RPG show, here is a link to the English version of the wiki, which lists where to find all the episodes on both YouTube and Twitch-- there are official English subtitles for the first two seasons, and they made a special two-part spin-off entirely in English with some international creators called Ordem Paranormal: Quarantena.)

Talking about stuff people need to know about ENIGMA DO MEDO (enigma of fear) before playing it (and some non important sutff that i just want yall to know about)

• YOU DON'T NEED TO WATCH ORDEM PARANORMAL TO UNDERSTAND WTF IS HEPPENING ON THE GAME, even tho there is character's that play/played a really big role on the rpg that dosent affect the story, everything you need to know about the universe is gonna be explained in game by Agatha and Samuel

• even tho is in the same universe as cellbit's rpg THE GAME IS NOT A RPG

• you can use rituals but not on combat

• you gonna have only two weapons (as mia) a pistol with limeted anmo and crowbar

• the game is gonna be dubbed in portuguese (obviously) and english, unfortunaly no espanish dubs but we are gonna have spanish translations

• We gonna have a lot of accessibility modes

• we can pet the dog

• the game is gonna have more then one ending and have a cannon ending

• we can play with mia, lupi and Veríssimo

• the game is rated 14 (one year older pg-13 lol)

• has non-linear investigation

• Agatha's birthday was on the day of the showcase, 16 of june (she was making 19 years old)

• there a big names on brazilian voice acting on the game, Guilherme Briggs (voice of supermen, Mickey Mouse,Samurai Jack,Optimus Prime etc.) And Wendel Bezerra the Brazilian voice of goku from dbz (if your latino you know how big this is)

• When cellbit was asked what happens if lupi dies/if lupi can die he did't answer it, he just took a sip of his coffee 😥

• Lupi was voiced by cellbit's dog Lobinho

• The game is gonna have two dlcs inspired by two seasons of the rpg (o segredo na floresta and Desconjuração) but they are not developing it now the foucous is on finishing the game

• The game is gonna be ported on Xbox, Playstation and on switch but the foucus is on PC

• The game is gonna be on pre-sale till the day before it launches

• we still dont have a date of realese but we know for sure that is gonna be this year!

• agatha is a lesbian

• Agatha thinks that shadow the headhog using a gun is really cool
