(Because it's his birthday in my AU. After all every character has a Birthday so there is his)

New Headcanons !

(Mostly because ever since someone named Triton was created and is officially with Calypso (whom I used to name Gaïana before she has an official name), my ship is pretty much dead *sob*

I guess I spend too much time with the people of our Discord because it pretty much made me realize what was the best ship (as well as Sexuality) of Zellard xD.

Anyways now I ship him with the 2 cultists that also realized their mistakes and are going through a redemption arc alongside their leader.

These moments when they get closer makes them realize how they complete each other fairly well.

So about the Sexuality Headcanons I had on Zellard, it used to be Biromantic Genderfluid right ? So now you just had Polyamorous to the mix and you got the new one ! (as seen below)

As for the Next Gen, because I have made Zellard's Next Gen already : don't worry they will remain the same. Except their design will change a bit to match more with their other parents.

Lindorië will remain the same too, and Yavana will probably change a bit because I will change her father's design. They both have a redesign because I think they deserve some changes, especially in their hairstyles.

Even their name will change ! Well, at least for Zacharie for now. I don't think it fits him. Now his name is Ixal. And the moment we saw up here was when Zellard learned that he was pregnant. After the adventure with his Nergigante Archangel, and of course after his recovery. The Wyverians told him he was pregnant but he was still so fuzzy and weak that he doesn't remember. Until it snapped as he started to feel sick. So yeah, it's future Kléïo's conception time !

Note that they wanted to have a child, but at this very moment, Zellard thought of how it will go on as conception with Ixal is supposed to be different. Ya know, because he is also Changeling/Switcheroo...

Finally finished stories 2 after literally, three years (I left off at kuan village ages ago and just finished the rest of the game in like the last two and a half days Cry emoji) I really really enjoyed it, here some small doodles from right after finishing main story.

Hhhhrr I'm new to the whole "posting headcanons on Tumblr" thing, so maybe I formatted it wrong but I'm trying, here's some Zellard headcanons because I love him and he's the best character.

-Zellard had a slightly abusive family, while they weren't the worst, especially compared to the families of others, they were still quite harsh. He plays down the severity of their actions, but is still aware he might think this because of what his parents told him about why they did it.

-He became a Monster Hunter at around 21 years old, it's unknown who he was trained by, if it was anyone at all. He probably learned all of the Hunter basics himself, along with his own tactics.

-He basically has traveled everywhere the Hunter's Guild has allowed him to (restrictions) but as he got older, he stopped listening to the Guild and now plans to go to all those places he couldn't before.

-He stumbled across Rutoh Village accidently while scouting Acala, he was supposed to come back to the other Hunters after laying out a map of the new area. Not wanting to expose the location of the hidden Wyverian village, he never ended up doing that.

-After being accepted into Rutoh by the Elder and the rest of the villagers, he planned to live there but not for very long. As everyone can tell, that didn't work too well and he ended up staying for many years, becoming more than a temporary stay.

-While Red, the man he met when first coming to Rutoh, was in his late twenties or so, he and Zellard may or may not have had a relationship, more than just friends.

-If his parents were told about his relationship with Red, they would be very disappointed and confused.

-He took care of Ena and Alwin when they were younger like they were his children. They were siblings who lost their parents to unknown causes, so he decided to take the responsibility himself.

-Despite what many people think, he never actually went crazy after Red's death, it was all Oltura's doing, being an Elder Dragon with immense power, she, to put it lightly, mind-controlled him as her puppet to release her at just the right time. After she died, he snapped out of it, having little to no recollection of what happened.

-What Zellard did do after Red died is pick back up his hunting career and slay quite a few Nergigante, as one of them was the one to kill Red, he was unfairly taking his anger out on the monsters in an act of "revenge". This is how he got his iconic gear.

Happy First Anniversary Monster Hunter Stories 2 !

OMG I can’t believe that it has already been a year since Monster Hunter Stories 2 came out ...

I still can’t get over how great this game is and honestly, it was my favorite game of 2021 !

Hope the fandom will still live on, maybe have some DLC’s, and more importantly a third game !

My AU Species/Races Face Close-Up (part 1)

Wyverians (coming from the Monster Hunter Universe) :

Wyverians are recognizable for their pointy ears and four-fingered hands. Most of them possess digitigrade feet. 

All of them have scales on their bodies, but they can have some on various parts of their body, as well as being any color.

They are the only race to have Alphas (20%) and Betas (80%).

All of them have at least one enhanced sense.

Some of them can have fangs, claws, or even a sharp tongue, though the last one is very rare. But the rarest thing to have for Wyverians is a tail.

They all have a Birth Mark that looks like a tatoo on their body. Most of the time, this mark pretty much became an emblem for them, mostly because it represents them since they are the only one to have it.

The lifespan in this race is very diverse : for example, some can be at their prime at 350 years old while some others are already very old.

Speaking of getting older, they get really tiny when they get very old ; they’re like the size of a small child.

Wyverians are considered to be one of the most beautiful races, and one that’s closest to Monsties.

It’s the males that become pregnant, so their g*nitals are reversed compared to others (though males also have it but it came out only during their heat).

Vastayans “Lhotlan Tribe” (coming from the League of Legends Universe) :

All Vastayan are chimeras between humans and animals. The Lhotlan tribe are human-bird chimeras.

Like a lot of birds, the males have very bright and colourful feathers and hair, while the females’s colours are dull and more tern, or darker.

All of them have fluffy feather ears ; they are pretty pointy and some of them goes up on their head.

All of them are born with at least one wing. It’s actually considered pretty rare to be born with a full set of wings.

Just like Wyverians, they are digitigrade, though all of them are and they have bird claws.

They all also have claws on their hands, and it can be a similar color to their feathers.

All of them have sharp eyes ; thanks to this, they have an enhanced sight. They also have the particularity to have arrow-like eyebrows.

All of them share the same sensibilty ; their ears.

Some of them have a feather tail, while some don’t have any.

They all have marks on skin, mostly on the face. They also have feathers growing on their skin too.

All of them can live for centuries.

Cloudsdalians :

The Cloudsdalians superficially ressembles Lhotlans since they are also bird chimeras.

They have wing-shaped ears as well as wings instead of arms, similar to harpies. Because of that, they have only a thumb.

Unlike Lhotlans, they all have a feather tail.

Only female Cloudsdalians are born. If you ever see a male Cloudsdalian, it was either created on a lab, or it was a female that has fully transitionned to male.

They also have bird claws like Lhotlans.

Changelings :

Changelings are one of the “evil” races that lives in this World.

Changelings are recognizable by their small and “broken” insect wings, ears that match the colours of their eyes, that could be either blue or green, a big deformed horn, sharp teeth and black dots all over their body.

Most of them have short and messy hair, some even shave them in a Mohawk or entirely.

Changelings can drain people’s vital energy to get stronger.

This race is mostly composed of males, there are almost no females among Changelings.

Changelings are said to be a race created by Oltura, so they are completely following Oltura’s will (when it’s alive of course).

Switcheroos :

Switcheroos are Changelings that doesn’t want to follow a dark path anymore, therefore they redeemed themselves.

This population is growing stronger whereas the Changelings are slowly disappearing since most of them wants to be peaceful.

They all have tatoos all over their bodies and they are the same colour as their eyes.

They are recognizable with their pale or beautiful colours, their “butterfly” horns and moth wings.

Unlike Changelings, the portion of female is equal to those of males. Most Changelings who turns into Switcheroos wants to turn into females, and that’s how they change gender while becoming a Swictheroo.

Another peculiar way to recognize them is their three diamonds on their neck?

Just like their evil counterparts, they have shapeshifting abilities.

Since they are redeemed Changelings, they still descend from Oltura. However, Oltura has less control over them since they are fighting against evil, and against their past-selves.

Crystallings :

Crystallings are said to be “immortal” beings. The reason behind this is because they have a longer childhood, and they mostly stay young adults. They grow older mostly when they are sad, and it’s really hard to make them sad.

They are a shiny race : shiny skin, shiny and bright hair. Plus they have hexagonal shaped eyes. They’re even said to be possibly the most beautiful race.

Speaking of their hair, all of them have wavy or curly hair.

They have the purest, and maybe even the strongest magic.

Their archenemies are the Umbrums. They are the total opposite since they always live inside the darkness, and they want to obliterate all the Crystallings, though they are peaceful but have no choice to fight them to survive.

To fight against their archenemies, Crystallings managed to learn the Umbrums’s magic.

Race : Wyverian (though he has slight Changeling DNA, but he doesn’t have any Changeling attribut. However, his cousin Musica awakened his genes so he can turn into a female wherever he wants to be one)

Alpha ? Beta ? (Wyverian only) : Alpha

Wyverian traits : Digitigrade feet, pinkish-dark purple scales along his spine, sharp claws, enhanced hearing.

Gaïana :

Height : 5′7″ (170 cm)

Age : 260 years

Weight : 150 lbs (68 kg) (as a Wyverian) / 161 lbs (73 kg) (as a Crystalling)

Gender : Female

Sexuality : Heterosexual, but she is also Homocurious (she also likes doing it with female Zellard)

Birthday : September 14th

Zodiac Sign : Virgo

Race : Wyverian / Crystalling (she has the ability to completely change her appearance : her Wyverian side shows her with red curly hair and blue eyes, as well as a pink dress, whereas her Crystalling form shows her with straight purple hair and a Crystal-like armor, as well as multiples tatoos throughout her body)

Alpha ? Beta ? (Wyverian only) : Beta (though she somewhat seems Alpha as a Crystalling)

Wyverian traits : pink scales from her back down to her hips (the shape ressembles a heart), enhanced sight.

Common Points between them :

It was pretty easy for both to confess their love for each other : in other words, they are not scared to show their feelings to the other.

Both cooks, and they both are pretty good at it.

Overprotective towards one another, though Zellard stands out in that.

Both already had at least 2 relationship experiences before.

Both have a formal attire where they are calm and collected, but they also have an “armor” and are good fighters ; you better not mess with them !

Both have a battle scared body, though Gaïana only has a few that can be seen in her Crystalling form, though they are slightly visible.

Considering the fact that both of them are Wyverians, they both have “heat periods”, though Gaïana has way less periods like this than Zellard thanks to her 50% Crystalling genes.

None of them are awkward at all in their relationship.

Differences between them :

Gaïana can be really fancy and extravagant. Zellard may wear some fancy clothes sometimes, he is way more reserved than her in that regard.

Gaïana often borrows clothes from Zellard, and Zellard doesn’t mind lending them to her : he find it amusing.

Sometimes, Gaïana likes to tease Zellard by using pet names on him. Zellard does it way less, but it’s just to make her regret that.

Gaïana is more outgoing than Zellard. She is also extraverted.

Zellard shows more his affection by using words, whereas Gaïana is the type to show her affection with multiple actions.

Gaïana doesn’t really like bugs (apart from ladybugs and butterflies), Zellard doesn’t mind at all and even helps her appreciate them more since she moved to Rutoh with him.

Zellard definitely has knowledge about Monsties and riding ; Gaïana doesn’t know that much, though Zellard will be happy to teach her more about that, maybe even finding a Monster egg for her if she ever wants a Monstie...

Zellard isn’t the type to like PDA (Public Display of Affection). Gaïana doesn’t mind showing some.

Gaïana can be a bit jealous when she sees her man with someone else, especially if that someone else keeps looking at him with some interest.

Zellard has way more “heat periods” than Gaïana, and they are more virulent than hers.
